LE wants to talk to new witness in the phone mystery

But they have specifically said this:

I wouldn't say they are un-cooperative.

I guess it's everyone's definition of what cooperative means.

Gosh, I know that is how I would want to be described if my child was missing....not.

That's kind of what LE has always said about Terri Horman too. And very few people feel she is/was cooperating, or is innocent, for that matter.

Odd. Just last night a member of this forum said he should have been interrogated.

Megan Wright stated: ""He denied answering it," Wright said. "Didn't know anything about it. He did admit answering the phone to a detective who had called, I guess later on that evening or the next day."

My question would be why did the FBI use Craigslist to track her down when they could have just asked him when they called?

Makes no sense.

Good point, but in one interview, MW said that he used a fake name/voice IIRC...but that didn't make any sense to me then and still doesn't.

Maybe they didn't use Craig's List to track her down. If they had her # they could have googled it, a CL listing came up with that # and so they made the pretense of calling in regards to that listing to get their foot in the door so to speak. MOO

I have seen no confirmation that the phone was answered. We've heard it was a 50 second call and we've heard it was an "attempted" call. We don't know.

I have seen no confirmation that this man was kicked out of the house. We've heard from Megan that he only moved in temporarily because he was going to be moving to an apartment with a friend. He was at the house for a couple of days, came back and was interviewed by LE at the house, and then moved out a week later. That's according to her interview with Ron Rugen. In talking with Jim Spellman, she stated that she has no idea where he is now and Spellman indicates that he was able to find the man's brother, but hasn't been able to track the man down.

So, how are we getting that this man must be involved and guilty of something because he answered the phone? He is a criminal who LE needs to inform the public about and broadcast his photo? He was kicked out of the house?

It's not only the parents of missing children who have rights, but everyone else as well. Even those that are not in the best place in life, those who may be considered "shady characters" by others, those who have served time for past bad deeds...

Maybe this guy is linked to Debbi Bradley. Maybe he is linked to an intruder. Maybe he is linked to neither. I'm curious and if he is in anyway connected to Lisa's disappearance, then throw the book at him for what he did. Til then, gonna wait and see. JMO...

From that link we get this one where MW definitely states that 'he' had her phone up to or at least at some point the next day. Jim Spellman insists that she has been consistent with getting her phone back between 11:30 and 12:00, so he must have had it again the next day...although, she said she went to the Waffle House and was angry about her phone records being cleared no? Oh my!

That's exactly what I think happened...there was discussion about that back when we first heard about the Craigslist ad. MW basically said that she got a call about the Craigslist ad (a GPS unit), and the FBI showed up at her door with guns drawn.

I think the more recent info about Dane, more detailed info about when MW did and did not have her phone, and the info about Dane taking a call from a detective has confused me...maybe others, too. :seeya:

Mm Hm. I think LE believed (rightfully so) that they were going to arrive at the location where Lisa or her remains were. It seems logical that they believed they'd solved this crime -

I guess I don't understand your second paragraph. I don't feel confused about Dane. He apparently had MW's phone during the critical time, and he also had her phone when the detective called with the ruse to buy the Craig's list item, and now he's vanished, seems pretty clear to me.

LE wants D and J to come in with their lawyers for an interview.
D and J don't want to come in with their lawyers.

D and J are NOT cooperating with LE. You can flip the words around any way you please, the outcome is the same.

They know their baby wasn't kidnapped. They know she's deceased thus in their heads they don't need to speak with LE. moo

What a huge disgrace. moo

<modsnip>, their lawyers don't want them to be interviewed seperately. They are still in communication with LE otherwise.

Where does it state that the attorneys are saying not to meet separately? Link?

I don't think anyone here wants the parents in this case, or any, to ever be guilty. To me that is the ultimate betrayal.

And for heaven's sakes...I have never never never never never seen 2 quieter parents, of a missing child! NEVER!! That in and of itself says a whole lot! When is the last time they have pleaded with the public for her safe return? Or to look out for her? Nobody I talk to even knows about this case. It is much too quiet. Where are the parents? What are they thinking?

Are they really so brain dead as to think their silence, is the right thing to do?

These parents need to talk. Not to clear their names, but to simply find their baby.

Shane Beagley, Samantha Brando: "According to Yahoo News, a neighbor who says he (Shane Beagley) was drinking with Lisa’s mother, Deborah Bradley, from about 7 pm – 9, 9:30 pm, and another neighbor, Samantha Brando, the night the baby disappeared has some inconsistencies with his story. He recently came out and claimed that nobody bothered to check on baby Lisa while they talked and partied earlier that evening. I think Jersey took the phones and tried to call MW. Maybe he just needed a place to sleep. That goes along with his MO but the baby I don't know. Jersey could be the scapegoat someone in the shadows was waiting on. From what I read about Dane it's not out of character for him to disappear. His brother and family didn't know where he was/is.
