Really appreciated your comment......it 'could' be

All this time I was ''assuming'' it was in reference to CH

And Det Stoddard did testify that LH asked TJ to accompany her to the Treehouse.

But then I remember a friend or family member saying that LH use to call Cooper his little buddy. IDK

Interesting to think about though, but why TJ? What was their relationship with TJ?

I don't have the answers but I am thinking in 'broad strokes' in terms of everyday phrases that a person may use.

there was a time when 'little buddy' was used freely (aka Gilligan was referred to as little buddy on Gilligan's Island and it was an expression that was used commonly -- trends being what they are perhaps it was a favorite phrase that he used for CH as well as others KWIM) --- MOO

one of his handles was roscoe if I recall correctly and isn't that from Dukes of Hazzard??

who knows maybe he liked the old shows and used those ''nick names'' freely

We know the calls were made in succession, as they were described by Stoddard at the hearing as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call (with person/place called also described). Spice had the info that the last call ended at 4:32 - and presumably that was also the call he was actually talking to someone on (the other two calls didn't get through, according to testimony). So if that call ended at 4:32, and that was the call in which LE overheard him say to someone that his child had died, it's apparent that the altercation must have come right on the heels of that last call--because LE were also telling him to "get off the phone." (There were no calls on record after that 3rd call, the one to daycare.) He then was handcuffed and put in the patrol car, and I doubt was calling anyone after that. So...maybe spice can link us to something that shows that 3rd call, the 6-min. one, ended at 4:32?

Maybe it's over in the timeline thread...I'll go check.

ETA: I believe I read that the firetrucks and ME truck were the last to arrive on the scene, so I'm guessing they were probably securing the scene, taking photographs, talking to witnesses, and/or awaiting the ME at the time LH was trying to call RH.

ETA: Cooper's body was still on the scene at 5:45 PM, so ME truck didn't pull away until after that

I never said that 4:32 was definitely the end of the last phone call..someone added that.

I did say an approximate time based on everything that occurs after RH pulls into the parking lot at 4:21 (phone call wise is an approximation based on Det Stoddards testimony)

I think another poster pulled 4:32 from an article where LE stated the time their phone altercation with Ross occurred. Now I'm confused. LOL.

Also, LE did say that they heard Ross telling someone over the phone that "his baby died" . They said they heard him says just that. It was documented at the hearing and very specific. It's LE testimony to Detective Stoddard and not a random statement by witnesses at the scene. Ross later denied he ever reached anyone on the phone. That testimony was very specific and they made a huge point out of it. You'll see if you go back and watch the hearing. It's in the first 20 minutes or so when Detective Stoddard describes Ross' behavior at the scene reported by LE officers and Anthony (the CPR witness and first to talk to Ross).

How do I send calls directly to voicemail on my iPhone?

There's a number of ways to send calls to voicemail. You can quickly shut your phone to silent mode by flipping the switch on the side of the phone, which will then send all calls to voicemail. Or when a call comes in, you can double-tap the power button and it silences the ringer, sending that call to voicemail.

In the latest iPhones and firmware there is a do not Disturb function. While this is on call should go directly to voicemail. However you can set it up to let people you designate as VIP in your contacts so if they call it will
Ring if you select that feature in settings.

Yes u can do it now.The new smart voice maill app available on playstore.i have used it..it's simply awesome.try it and don't worry about ur friends and buisness clients

eta: I am sure Linda7NJ and other prolific iphone users can answer this question with expertise...

That is what I was talking about when I mentioned the decline button. I keep my phone on silent all the time when I am in class by flipping the switch on the side all of the time and my calls do not go directly to vm. They show up as missed. The phone "rings", just silently.

The other ways to send to voicemail is to press "decline", turn it off physically, or set it on do not disturb (which will show a little moon in the top right hand corner) I did that on my wedding day because people were texting me and blowing up my phone which was beyond annoying. Those are the only 3 ways I know how to purposefully send calls directly to vm and I have been an iphone user since the first year they came out.

I don't know what happened yet. And it may be a moot point at this point because as another poster pointed out, LH likely called RH a little after 4:51 and he may have not been in possession of his phone at that point and in handcuffs. Or maybe it was laying on the seat next to him in the cop car while he was in cuffs.

I still don't believe LE turned it off and put it in an evidence bag. I don't believe they would turn it off at all. People live and DIE by their smartphones and they hold so much information. Just watching the screen to see what texts or calls were coming through would be an observation they would want to make until they got his permission to physically look through it, or whatever their protocol is. But physically turn it off because they took it from him? No. I don't believe that.:moo:

According to the hearing, JT [Terrel] accompanied her to Treehouse at her request. Not sure why...

Maybe she needed a witness to the "discovery" in the Tree House parking lot.. except she didn't realize RH had left to go to the movies and the discovery scene was taking place elsewhere, with different witnesses.

OMG!!!! OMG! OMG! I never thought of that.

You could be onto something there....

Do you think that is why she "didn't know" about the movie plans? They weren't ever really supposed to be part of it? The original plan was just what you said it was?

Do you think he just added that to make it look like he truly "forgot" and realized on the way to the movies?

Do you think his friends asked him that day (one owed him money and bought advanced tickets) and he just went with it?

Maybe he panicked and didn't want the scene to occur in the parking lot after friends saw him open the door and throw light bulbs in 4 hours earlier? I don't think he realized that was on camera.
