LEE Takes Memorial Away from Front of House

Sorry, I haven't read this whole thread but I just saw this video clip on the 10PM news -

I wonder if this memorial had been set up in Blanchard Park (one of Caylee's favorite places) if he would have gone there to rip it up too?? I have the feeling we will be seeing memorials to Caylee all over the place!

up to 14 pages, IMO because it's the first reaction from the family and as someone said a few pages up( sorry don't remember who) this site has two "where is Lee?" threads. emotions high, just a guess.

Actually I see it as a total rejection of any sympathy that may have been being offered to the family.

He knows the media is camped out at the house. He put on a little show of removing the memorial flowers, which could just as easily have been done later tonight after the news cameras left.

His statement has been heard loud and clear, and it does not speak well of him.

Maybe this has been discussed before but where are the relatives? Doesn't this family have any aunts, cousins, friends? Very few people have come on TV to support them or say they're good, honest, hardworking people. I almost get the impression that they are loners and like it that way. Or have they driven people away?

I really think they have pushed everyone else away from them because their relatives did not see everything like they did and attempted to talk some sense into them, they did not want that, they wanted everyone to believe the stories that were spun. I'm sure many people did try to give support but they just wouldn't take it. I feel very bad for Caylee's great grandparents!

Most likely it was one of their neighbors who put it there. They are so grotesque and uncouth in their behaviors, I hope no one else even gives them anything.

They sure did not have any trouble taking all that money and the hundreds of gift cards people sent, but they didn't have the common courtesy to even write a thank you note and threw away all the sympathetic letters sent with the donations. They ONLY want money............it that had money attached, I bet they would have grabbed it and run.

Just like they disposed of the stuffed animals(because they supposedly smelled of smoke)-those could have been donated to Childrens Hospital. I think the person I most feel sorry for now is Mallory-I pray her love can help Lee.

"Grieving" or not, those flowers and gifts were meant for CAYLEE, not Lee, not Cindy, not George. They were left in memory of CAYLEE, the VICTIM, that was KILLED, not Lee, not Cindy, not George. This was not about Lee, Cindy or George. Someone left those there to respect Caylee Anthony, something her own family could not seem to do just this once. They had no right to deny Caylee that honor or anyone from giving her that honor.

I have come to believe they could care less about Caylee. To them she is dead, so they need to go on with making money and this has put a real block in the road they were traveling with their "FIND CAYLEE" donations.

I will bet if there had been a donation with it, they would have taken that.

I am praying she gets away from him. With marrying into a family like that, there is nothing but heartache coming. Children's services will be all over them after Cindy's sociopath behaviors in this if she really is pregnant.

Didn't all the flowers from the vigil at BP get trashed? I can't remember who did it-I think I heard it was DM. I hope memorials to Caylee go up all over Orlando. The A's can't trash all of them!

According to reports the beautiful balloon memorial which was set up in BP was torn down by that KFN crook. He had NO right to even touch it and I had paid for it, I would have prosecuted him for it.

The memorial was not just flowers...it was a cross too. So it clearly spoke to the death of Caylee as being a fact. Since this is so new and emotions are raw...some us us feel putting a cross out there now is premature and possibly just hit a raw nerve. Perhaps it was innocent...but there were also alot of nasty people showing up at the A's house over the last 5 months.

You know, Lee trashing the flowers is just another example of why they are getting such negative media attention. Maybe the flowers were a symbol of the prayers this person was offering for CA, GA and Lee! I keep hearing in my mind, "the public should get off their asses and search", when they didn't search themselves. To throw out symbols of affection, care and concern-like the animals, cards and now flowers! Absolutely no appreciation for the love and concern for them and thier granddaughter. This is absolutely mean spirited and hateful. If people have been hateful to them, it is because they set the stage for it. They don't want sympathy for Caylee, they only want support for Casey. All this "they are greiving, they are in denial" does not excuse this totally abnormal behavior. JMO

Yes - but there was no body found. They chose to believe that Caylee was still alive - or at least tried to believe that there was still hope. Having a body be found...and being told by LE that they believe it to be Caylee...is another reality hit to them. This ends all hope for them. I think that is "new".

This ends all hope their Caylee is alive and being held by kidnappers theory. Now they must get their playbook out and huddle. Everyone must be on the same page with the same story. Cause now we have Caylee's remains and who knows what the autopsy and forensics will reveal. KC is still gonna stay with the nanny story-so it's time for the defense to come up with a heck of a Hail Mary!!
Just remember A's-God is in control, He had that man chose to walk in to the EXACT spot where Caylee was laying. He caused that man to pick up that bag. God wanted Caylee found!!! He has heard the prayers from around the world for that child. Her little body being found is not the end of the story. KC - don't fear prison-fear eternity!!:furious:

Lee's removing the flowers was yet another indication of A antagonism. They could have been ignored or removed at night when there were less media in the area. The flowers were not on the A property. So once again, one of the A's places themselves in a confrontational position. Not surprised.

Not to mention the fact that Lee took those flowers into a home that was crawling with internationally-renowned forensic specialists who may well have been giving it a thorough once-over.

It reminded me of when he snatched up all those stuffed animals at the house and said he was throwing them in the garbage.

It also reminded me of when GA snatched the poster away from Lois and Murt and when the flowers were taken from the memorial service site at Blanchard Park.

You know - I posted on this thread because I was attempting to explain why I thought Lee had reacted the way he did. But why does my opinion that the memorial was a bad idea mean that I support the Anthony's?

But all I am trying to say is that just because you might see them as a beautiful gesture of love and concern...doesn't mean that is the way Lee sees them. They are in alot of pain right now - and I think it is entirely possible that they are not quite ready for death memorials yet. It is possible that they are hurtful and painful for the Anthony's to look at - and I think he needed to remove them for that reason. I believe he has that right when the memorial is right in front of their home. Are you saying their feelings don't count and they should suck it up because it might be hurtful to the person who left it there?
