And so it begins.....
Went to the theater tonight to see Purple Rain.
My 23 yr old son went with me ...
He hated it lol, but said he went expecting that , he said he went cause he didn't want to see me sad for another week and he just went for the popcorn .
He pointed out to me that Prince not having a cell phone may have contributed to his passing due to not being able to call for help...

Good point. I never thought about that and never knew he didn't have a cell phone on him. Was this usual?

The last interview I saw of him he said he didn't own a cell phone .
They asked him how he got in touch with people and he said that all of his friends have them, but he didn't want one .
Now , that could have changed ... Who knows ?

Not so fast on this one. Supposedly, there are two possible LEGITIMATE claims that may become beneficiaries. One is a supposedly illegitimate son of Prince's father. The other is a possible son to Prince. The latter has gone to Heir Hunters - possible DNA test. Have you noted that Jordan's last name is NELSON? Coincidence? Perhaps.

I predict it won't just be the siblings who share in Prince's fortune. See story below.

Yeah, there are a couple hundred of claims so far .
The rumour about Jordan being Princes son started because of his name and has been kicked around for years .That and the fact that Cat is his mom.
Prince liked the ladies and the ladies liked Prince, he wasn't known for being monogamous , so there is always a possibility ...

Prince was an eclectic figure with lots of things on his mind.

Dying apparently wasn’t one of them. Neither was the thought of his face on boxes of spaghetti, or “Let’s Go Crazy” coming from a musical toilet paper dispenser.

A Minnesota judge asked a packed courtroom Monday if anybody in attendance had perhaps arrived bearing Prince’s will, or at least knew of one.

No one raised a hand, so the judge appointed a firm called Bremer Trust to handle Prince’s estate. Unless a suitable document shows up unexpectedly, it appears that the groundbreaking Prince Rogers Nelson has become just another famous person who cashed out without leaving instructions...

Just a thought, it would be so bittersweet if it turned out that he had children.He told Oprah he wanted ten babies...
To think he might have had some and missed out on that is sad.

The thing with these is I always wonder why this comes out after. I mean he wanted kids. Why wouldn't this already be known if he had kids.

Granted I certainly don't know what's going on behind the scenes but just saying...

"He advised her last year in Germany that he cannot control his habit and she was advised to report it," the log reads...

I saw this, did you get from it that she waited a year to call in the tip?
I especially like the part where it says he told her he couldn't control his cocaine habit and to call in the tip ? SMH

Well you know what they say, "birds of a feather flock together"

The last video kinda reminds me of way back. George Clinton definitely was geeked out on crack/cocaine out at Paisley, I remember seeing him run around like a chicken with it's head cut off It was pretty common knowledge that George was on a mission.....HOWEVER I nenver saw any indication that Prince was indulging or even close by George at the times when he was obviously looking for a rock and not the ones you throw......out of all the rumors that are out there, I am inclined to believe the aids one. Prince was always tiny but the last few years, he became 'frail" looking, he did sleep around quite a bit Cindy Crawford to Kim Bassinger and a lot in between.


ETA Not sure why all the articles say unidentified woman and then go on to identify her by saying from Germany.

And don't forget , Vanity died this year as well. She died of kidney failure, but for a long time before and after her death it was speculated that she had AIDS.
Prince was very upset and dedicated a concert to her the night she passed and told many stories about how he was in love with her and she was the finest woman ever to live ...
I'm not being disrespectful by saying this, as for me, it changes nothing .
My most favorite singer everrrrrrr Freddie Mercury died from complications of AIDS , I sincerely am not judgemental about this at all. It is a syndrome caused by a virus and but for the grace of God most of us could have been unknowingly exposed at some point in our lifetime.

Yeah I do not think Vanity had aids, When I was at Al Beaulieu studio photography, doing work with Jesse, Al showed us a slide pic of Vanity, I am sure it was a photo she did not know was taken, oh thinking of that pic brings back fond memories!!!

I did hear the tribute that Prince did for Vanity when he was in Australia, it was very touching. We both heard same tribute

Here is a little something I did a while ago, a tribute to the MPLS music scene.

Vanity (Denise) was so beautiful..
She said that Prince was the only man she ever truly loved ...
There was an audio of that concert floating around , but I can't find it now.
Here's an article about if that will make you cry, or at least feel like somethings in your eye.
Interesting to hear someone's take on Vanitys illness who would have more insight than me.
