I stayed out for about 45 min. and saw nothing. It was just to darn cold. I miss my kids trampoline. We use to lay out on that with a couple of sleeping bags, nice and cozy.

I know what you mean. Till a freak gust of wind catapulted it across the street in pieces, my neighbors used to have a trampoline, which I would secretly appropriate at times to lie atop and watch the skies.

Ok, i know it's early, I'm outside, semi clear skies.....I don't see a single meteor. How long does it usually take to see one? Roughly?

I went out twice last night, and despite perfectly clear skies, I didn't see a thing other than the stars. :(

Do meteors look like a shooting star?

It's so cold outside I think I may have lost a nipple! If what I just saw was "it" I'm gonna be pissed!

Yes they do. Sometimes you're staring so long you start to see things, but when one happens you know it. Some of the shows I've seen are definitely worth losing a nipple over. I read you should see one every couple of minutes.

Well I know you weren't suppose to see anything last night but I couldn't sleep as usual so I went outside around 4:30 a.m. After about 15 minutes I saw a very dim meteor. I waited around for another 30 minutes or so but nothing. I'll try again Tuesday. Hope to see at least five. It's just so addicting to me. Once I see one good one I'm hooked.
