Let's Bring It Back Around

From the same article - get this:-

Tracey hinted in his third documentary that a major break was coming in the case
Why then did he claim it was John Steven Gigax???? This is such drivel! I do hope Fox news will clear up the misinformation.

Tricia, with all due respect ( I don't want to piss off the Chief Boss around here, lol;) ....how can you be sooo solid & sure in your opinion at this stage in the game? You HAVE to agree that it is really possible that they've got the guy!!! Sure, it's possible they DON'T....but it's possible they DO, too!

Ex wife & brother gave conflicting statements as to where suspect was the night of the murder. One said Georgia, the other said Alabama. What's that all about?

They didn't say they have pictures to prove it. The brother said he was going to try to look through some family photos to see if he could find photos from then.

I think that with this high-profile case, it is ENTIRELY PLAUSIBLE that they have done DNA testing & are simply withholding that information for the time being. I see what you are saying when you say they would be screaming it out to everyone if there was a DNA match....but I don't necessarily think that is the case AT THIS STAGE IN THE GAME. Remember, this information has only been out for what, 12 hours now? Shoot, maybe we haven't heard anything about DNA because they are under a gag order regarding any talk about DNA for right now? It's possible.....There's so much going on behind the scenes that we all have NO CLUE of.....

Alabama and Atlanta are so close people can commute everyday for work.

Jayelles-- Thanks for the link that shows that Karr and Tracey have been corresponding via email. It also states that Tracey has been forwarding the emails on to the DA.

Quote from the article:

"(The suspect) talked about being there, about doing this and doing that, and knowing this and knowing that - he had a whole bunch of things that didn't come out before. It wasn't part of what the media was allowed to get at before."

End Quote

Obviously, the DA has read and reread these emails and it certainly sounds like he did have priviledged information. Plus, he talked about being there! If anything, it sounds like Tracey was instrumental in solving this case, IF it is indeed solved. I'm betting that it is. I think they've got him. I could be wrong. Then again, all the people who tried Patsy and found her guilty in the court of public opinion could be wrong, too! People are often wrong. People have been wrongly convicted and sent to prison & it's been proved 20 years later that they had the wrong person! I do believe we've executed people who were later found to be completely innocent. My point is, people are wrong all the time.

I know :D they ARE close...they border each other! Certain PARTS of Alabama are so close to Georgia that people can and do commute every day.

"His ex-wife and brother have both said Karr spent the Christmas Holiday, meaning the 25th and 26th, with the family in Georgia. They have pictures and such to prove it. "

But DO they? really?

NOPE. That's not what the brother said. He said he would TRY to see if he could find any pictures from that time so prove his innocence. Didn't say that they did have the pics...only that he would try to find some.

If someone were to ask me today who I spent Christmas of 1996 with, when during that day I actually saw them, there is no way I could tell. I would not be able to answer that from just 5 years ago. I was married 10 years ago so I could guess that I spent some of that time with my ex and his family, but there is no way I could say 100% that I did. I also work many holidays, I can't tell you if I was working that day or not.
Can any of you 100% say who you can give an alibi for from 10 years ago to cover an entire night?

OB

I was trying to illustrate that if those states are so close perhaps he did spend christmas day in both Atlanta and Georgia. Seeing both his wife of the time and his brother. Perhaps he spent the morning with his imediate family and then saw his brother in the afternoon.

I might be hazy on the specific details of a Christmas Day - but if there had been a Christmas where my husband disappeared for 24 hours - I'd remember that.

I'm skeptical of Nate also--I can easily remember who I was with each Christmas going back 30 years--the fact that Nate can't remember shows he is fudging--his ex-wife may be mistaken also--family members lie a lot--millionaire T.Cullen Davis shot 3 people that night long ago in Texas, and his only alibi was his wife insisting he was with her all night--Also,Karr's father says he knows nothing about Karr's child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 charges or dismissals

Hi Tricia! :)

IF they do have a DNA match, do you think that Lin Wood and John Ramsey would be privy to that info?

Absolutely. The Boulder D.A. has kept them fully up to date so far. I can't imagine them holding back the DNA evidence if they had it. Especially if it was a match.

If he knows things that only the perp would know and his DNA matches, it is GAME OVER.
But if Tracey, Wood & Co e-mailed with him back and forth, maybe that's why Karr knows things which only the perp would know?
This Karr could be someone obsessesed with JB, maybe to the point dreaming himself into the perp's role. False confessions are not that rare.
And who knows if that guy doesn't recant once he has retained a lawyer.

The fact that Wood nor Ramsey will comment on it makes me believe it is not a match and they will try and downplay the value of the DNA. Just like many of us have downplayed it all along.

i think you're right...the words "DNA match" would be all over the news, if it were true....

right...like leading him on, maybe???...if Karr was so into these types of cases, as it's been reported, how do we know he wasn't 'lured' in some kind of way....(hope that makes sense)

IMO This was never a DNA case to begin with.

While I hope and pray this is the killer.....part of me simply can't believe it logically. If LE can place him in Bolder at the time. If this guy does have info none of us are aware of...then I'll buy it.

Suwat said U.S. authorities informed Thai police on Aug. 11 that an arrest warrant had been issued for Karr on charges of premeditated murder. The warrant was sent to Thai police on Wednesday, the day he was picked up in Bangkok.

At the press conference, Suwat said that Karr insisted after his arrest that his crime was not first-degree murder. "He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional. He said he was in love with the child. She was a pageant queen," Suwat said.

The Thai officer quoted the suspect as saying he tried to kidnap JonBenet for a $118,000 ransom but that his plan went awry and he strangled her to death.

Hurst said Karr has been "very cooperative" with authorities and that he's shown a "variety of emotions." She said he has been a suspect "for a while" but wouldn't specify how long.

Karr has been in Thailand four times over the past two years, police said.

Police said he was living in a dormitory-style hotel called The Blooms in a neighborhood of massage parlors and travel agents that cater to expatriate residents and offer sex tours.

Let's not forget and this has been pointed out by several of the defense attorney's on the talk shows- that the Ramsey defense had details that the general public did not have. Courtesy of the DA's office.

Hi Blondie

But they wouldn't have his DNA.

IMO he's aware of a match so he might as well confess to this "accidental"
garroting and beating of a little girl. All in the name of "love"-- pedophile style.
