Hello,

Due to the craziness surrounding this case, I don't think it's a bad idea to go back to the drawing board on a couple of the suspects that were initially eliminated. I want to take a closer look at why they were eliminated in the first place, and if we feel like that was a correct conclusion to make. We all know that once, "solid alibis" can later come back to be bogus...

In my heart of hearts, I really don't think this case is unsolvable. I think it's going to take brand new perspectives, and possibly starting at square one by making no assumptions. I don't want to just talk about what we think... I want to talk about what we know, and if we truly know that information, or if it can be refuted.

My guess is that if we all created a list of top 6-10 suspects that we think could be involved, that the true perpetrator would likely be on that list...... or adjacent to an individual on it.

This person was clearly comfortable in the home, that much is abundantly clear to me. So it isn't a rando off of the street type of situation, which tells me.... THIS IS SOLVABLE!!!

My first question is a simple one:
Who had regular and familiar access with the home? Let's start there.

I wish there was a way we could compile all of the evidence on each individual in a separate location. This is only my second post on this website, so I am unfamiliar with the workings of it. If someone know's how to do that, please let me know.

I think this is a good idea, but I don't know the case like you all. You guys have picked this case apart like a Thanksgiving turkey on a Friday afternoon. LOl BTW happy thanksgiving ! But I am open to learning.

Amy0077 thank you for the podcast link; it was very good and informative. Lots I didn't know about the house and opportunities an intruder would have to gain access to the house.

Were there any contractors working in the house leading up to the murder?
In the podcast linked above, Part 2 says that JR gave out as many as 30 sets of keys to workers, friends, family. I also forgot that they had their house Parade of Homes at holiday times. I guess people went through the house to see the holiday decorations, not sure, but if someone knows about this, please pipe in.

In my opinion, no matter what happened, her parents were involved.

There may have been others, but that’s it.
Did anyone test the DNA and fingerprints of BOTH brothers and the first wife? Were there any insurance policies on the children? Was there any DNA (other than Patty's) on the paint brush? Whose DNA / fingerprints was on the duct tape?

also, did anyone take the fingerprints and test the dna of the parents from the dance studio or the employees of the dance studio?
