Let's Rewind: What Makes Sense Now that Didn't Make Sense Before Remains Discovery?

Just my opinion, I don't think Casey is petrified that CA will really physically harm her. If you look at their history, CA is the one that makes excuses for Casey's behavior the most. I think Casey is more afraid of losing CA's support of enabling that has happened all these years.

I don't think KC's afraid of CA physically harming her, either. But there have been "calls to service" to OSCO from that house over the years for domestic reasons. So, there is at least a documented history of some situations (multiple) that were severe enough to warrant a 911 call. We don't know who, but we know it was in that household.

I'm sorry, but I've spent the past half-hour trying to find the exact date when Casey got the "Beautiful Life" tattoo, to no avail. Can anyone help? Also, didn't she make an appointment in July for another?
Thanks, I'll keep looking, but facts are so easily lost....

I remember a statement by CA some time back that she was still washing the sheets on Caylee's bed so that they'd be clean for her return. I always thought that was odd - not that she dusted Caylee's room, or that she left kept everything in its place... but that she washed the sheets every week. Sounded weird to me, not something I would do.

If Caylee was found wrapped in one of her own sheets...

I want to say the 2nd and 19th were the 2 appts, but I'd have to go look it up to be sure.

I checked and those are the correct dates. Incidentally, the 19th is Amy's bday, and there had been past texts about Amy getting a tat on her bday. When KC made the appt on the 19, she made it for her and a friend.

I was wondering if anyone remembers the (I think it was) the first night Casey arrived home from jail. A few hours later, George left the house , in a frenzy, very upset, walking . IIRC, he made a right turn at the sidewalk and headed north up Hopespring Dr. Possibly toward the intersection of Chickasaw and Suburban.

I can’t find the video of this anywhere, so I’m going from memory only. But what if George figured out the possible location of Caylee’s remains, and very upset, stormed out the door to find her. Remember at the time, the media was still camped at the house. Why not take a drive to avoid any media attention. During the walk, he got a phone call, and a few seconds later, here comes Lee to the racing “rescue” (not Caylee’s rescue, but the “rescue” of the situation for the family). IIRC, Lee had to practically force George into the car to get him to come home.

At the time, I think the media dubbed the footage as “George takes a walk to calm down” or something to that effect. Everyone thought that George just being in the room with Casey was stressing him out and he had to take a walk to decompress before it lashed out at Casey. What I think happened was that George had finally put some of the pieces, clues, etc. together and it clicked. George was going to get his little Caylee, with the media in tow, damn the results, but Cindy and Lee joined together to pull George back into the ranks of protection mode for Casey.

Very good observation.......And it make perfect sense now. It seems as if GA has been truthful when CA was not around.

Thanks very much! - but where did you check? I tried the timeline here on WS and did not see 'tattoo' listed under either date. Am I just missing it?

I did notice though, on the 16th, cell pings from Casey's phone "near Chickasaw Trail" around 4 p.m.

What makes sense to me now is the shovel. Since we heard the body was double bagged, I'm thinking she just used the shovel to lift the old bag which may have been ripping, into a newer bag, because she didn't want to touch it with her hands. She probably dipped the shovel in the pool afterwards thinking pool chemicals would get rid of any residue on the shovel. That's why it was clean when returned to the neighbor. I think she was too lazy to have dug anything. (I've seen a theory it was used to pry up the playhouse too, which is also possible.)

I agree that we over thought a lot of things done and gave KC too much credit. She must have just dumped the body there after GA made her nervous when getting his gas cans back.

ITA. This makes more sense to me than anything I have heard in a while.

Bravo.

WOW! This says a lot, IMO. 7 calls between 2003 and 2007-Makes you wonder what living in that house was really like! It's really sad.

 I had forgotten all about that video. He was very, very upset. I have to go find that again.

If Caylee was found wrapped in one of her own sheets...

Seems contrary to most peoples with a missing child.. they leave the room intact .. and keep the sheets etc as they are ..in my case it would be to prolong the smell of my child/grandchild..

Yes..I agree...but how did she do this undetected?

Some theories are that she used the pool ladder to climb onto the playhouse and drag Caylee over the fence to the woods...

Days and days of converting cell phone pings and google maps and google earth, trying to pin down more of an exact address of where KC could have been near her house and not believing that she was at the house all the time just because the pings hit there.
The pings inside the three towers for the house are the same for the location of the remains that were found.

And THANKS for all that work you did okie! But man the hindsight can be a beatch eh? LOL... All those pings and was the pings at home that were the ones....

Crazy Crazy.

what gave me an ah ha! moment was the fact there was no pizza in the trunk of the car; couple that with the garbage bag being taken from TonE's apartment and the roomie's use of Casey's phone to call pizza places (in phone records) and we can pretty much tell where and when that pizza was ordered, devoured, and the boxes put in the trash at TonE's pad.

Couple all of THAT with Cythia's repeated "rotting pizza and maggot" comments it sure brings to light exactly what those maggots were doing in the trunk of that car! Hopefully the state will put a forensic entamologist on the stand to determine how long the body would have been in the trunk or how long since it had been removed from the trunk for it to contain the "maggots all over" that Cynthia was stating.

And also....George's reversion to pizza and maggots on larrykl the other night gave me a big, "shame on him!!!!!" moment!!!
