Sure was. I guess he eventually got a hold of her and thus felt ok about stopping to buy snacks & beverages. Or he was never all that upset to begin with. Maybe it was another case of overacting on his part, to call 90 times.

I don't have a cell, can you set one to auto dial?

No kidding - he would not leave work to go check on his own kids. How does one figure nothing is wrong after 90 freaking calls and just calmly stops and gets a beer ? No way - there is something seriously wrong with Ron...but if you need your mug seen somewhere I quess.

Maybe it was like Haleigh getting tardy notices for school. He had used up his quota for patience with the boss for family issues?

Edited to add: If he left work, I doubt he had permission.

Holy cow - over 90 phone calls and Ron still stops for cigs, beer and peanuts...WOW.

Yeah- makes me think he knew exactly what was going on and was trying to check up on things. If he was really still just ticked off at Misty, he would have probably called several times and then waited awhile before trying to call back. If it had been a regular fight thing, he should have known after just a few calls she wasn't going to answer and would have given up for awhile. IMO, he was anxious to find out how things were going at home but not too anxious to provide himself with an alibi.

I don't know about auto dial but if you don't lock the keypad and stick it in your pocket it could dial or take a bunch of pictures of your pocket (talking from experience here-lol).

If 90 calls=major crisis, WTH did he stop for peanuts and beer? Again, he needed an alibi.

They have sort of one-touch dialing for frequently dialed numbers, so you can redial quick.

Considering the source of this information, and him just now coming forward with this information - I'm inclined to agree with you. I suspect this would have been a huge headline long ago, were it true.

Mebbe he had voice dial and every time it heard a sound it thought it was supposed to phone home. [lol - I have voice dial, but never tried using it, so IHNI.]
