I've always liked Lenny...but his 2 most recent appearances on Levi's show make me believe that LP is naive, and that his motives are self-serving - wanting to look like the hero.

Well after hearing all that I am convinced that the Cummings family has known all along that they were suspect and have been trying to divert blame anyway they can. I had long suspected Ronald failed his LDT. Police only said they were 'satisfied' with the results of both he and Misty.
If Leonard is to be believed........then Ron and company have known all along that it was deep around them and now I have to rethink this whole thing. Now I have to figure out why they told the story they told and why they made every move they have so far. Translated..........back to square one as I have felt Ron was in this from day one.

What I really wanna know is why LE is being so quite about this?

Maybe but Ron KNEW if he was lying or not and their subsequent questioning of him, if related to inconsistent responses would have alerted him. I think anyway.

IIRC RC was never CLEARED......

:couch: I know "cleared" is the wrong word, but this is making me wonder a bit more about Shoey saying he was moved to the bottom of the list. Ron had to know that he was a strong POI as questions evolved re phone records etc.

But how do we know any of what LP said is factual? I am confused...is everything he says supposed to taken as true and correct? I just don't see it that way. I never thought RC passed his poly, but LP saying so does not make it true to me. Or any of the rest of it...I am going to have to wait to have some LE verification for any of this...that's just me...

That makes sense to me. IIRC, LE didn't want him bonding KC out and he didn't listen and he has since said he learned from that lesson. As much as LP is a self-proclaimed media lover (I read an article in the Sacramento Bee where he says he does love the limelight), I don't think he wants to screw up when it comes to finding Haleigh.

That was an informative show... We now know that Ron did not pass his Poly.
Ron's lawyer withdrew the bond reduction because of a possable plea deal. Lindsey filed for divorse because she knows Tommy is involved. LP is not bonding Ron out.... Thats a lot of new info, I just hope it is all true.. except for the plea deal

I'm not totally convinced that LP's rumor, and it is rumor per his own words, of Ron getting a plea deal. On the clerk records, as soon as the motion for the bond reduction was filed the SA turned around and filed for Discovery regarding the Nebbia hearing. Something isn't adding up. If the SA is making a deal with Ron over something, they wouldn't be playing this game IMO.

From what was discussed tonight, and I would have to go back and relisten, but it had to do something about you are only allowed to file this motion but a couple of times and since nothing had changed they pulled the motion, and that if they are discussing a plea deal then they would want to hold this motion until after the plea... I'm not quoting exactly but it was along those lines.

Lp made the decision Friday that he is not going to bail Ron out at this time... so what AT this time means I'm not sure.

LP said he flip-flops between beleiving Ron is guilty and not but he beleives they have decided on not bailing him out.

LP stated he never discussed details of the drug case or Haleigh's disappearance with TN. Wouldn't you want to know as much as possible before committing a large sum of money to bail out a stranger?
