What I'm getting at is it might have been common knowledge where the size-12's were located, i.e. the person knew where to find a replacement for JonBenet's size-6 Bloomingdale's underwear.

Otherwise how does the person know to go and rip open the gifts to find underwear for JonBenet?

It is highly unusual for a child to wear the same size in clothing as their age, particularly in something like panties. Since a waist on a child is not very pronounced, just by pictures of JonBenet alone, I believe she would have needed a size 8. I think a size 6 would have been entirely too small!

Since there were lots of special things coming up in December, Patsy may have realized that JonBenet might have to wear those dreaded Pull-Ups and knew JonBenet wouldn’t stand for it unless she had some kind of special camouflage; hence the Size 12 bloomies! Just sayin’.

But Wait. I'm getting confused again! I thought that PR said that she decided to keep the size 12s to please JB. If so, then there'd not be any reason for them to be gift-wrapped. No matter where the size 12s were located on the night of the murder, the outstanding fact, for me, is that the correct day of the week was selected. Not only does this display a cool head, but also, that some aspect, some detail of the killing was being covered up by this act.
To say that JB was redressed, implies that she was first undressed. Most likely, this had to do with the sexual assault. Those involved with the murder and/or the staging must have known that something about JB as originally dressed was incriminating. Using the size 12s was a careless error. While I am not firmly BDI, this oversight does seem to point to BR. It's possible that in the subsequent staging, the Rs didn't notice that the undies were the wrong size, as JB had her own pair, which she had been wearing on Christmas. You'd only see that they were too large if she stood up.

As she was a bed wetter, it seems rather risky that she'd not need a change of undies before the trip. We know that many soiled pairs of underwear were found in JB's bedroom. Why hadn't they been washed? There was a washer/dryer outside her room.

No, we do not know for a fact that a Size 6 set was purchased. You are at the mercy of what someone says and unless you have the receipt, you do not know!

A pull up will still fit snugly against the body. The bloomies obviously were for a child that was twice JB’s age.
A size 6 (in 1996) was for a normal sized 6 year old child; which JB was. Not an obese child.

Maybe the simple truth to why the panties had to be Wednesday is just something simple. Whoever staged it know it was Wednesday and had to have the Wednesday panties on her. Like a perfectionist, type a personality.
