On this night, one year ago, I believe you went to bed, safe and sound, probably after getting your grandma's last kiss. I think you slept peacefully and safely for the last time. I know you are now surrounded with that comfort and love for eternity.

Caylee, you are safe and protected now. I am actually going to do something for you. It is called "Pay it Forward" in your honor. I am going to go to the bank tomorrow and request ten $2.00 dollar bills and I am going to give them to people (that I don't know) for no apparent reason. And ask that they pay it forward in your honor. I hope and pray that they will.

I hope you like the little garden I created for you on your memorial day Caylee..
I put in some johnny jump ups.. they bloom in shades of pink and mauve, purple and blue.. your favourite colours. And they have little tiny faces to remind me of your sweet face.
Then I planted some forget me nots.. their bright blue flowers lift my spirits even on cloudy days, and they stand for rememberance and a promise that I shall never forget you
Then some Lily of the Valley, it smells so sweet, and the little white flowers are pure and delicate... I thought it would be a fitting tribute to those people who have prayed for you.
Finally I left some volunteer plants, some Columbine.. it grows quite big and strong, and I left it in honour of all those who volunteered to search for you.

I hope your having a nice day Caylee.. I wonder if you still like to colour and have someone read you books? I hope there is lots of fun stuff for you to do there.
Today I went to a big store where they sell a lot of stuff for gardens. It was so nice to wander around and look at all the baskets of flowers and big pots to put flowers into and all that sort of thing. They had one part that was all full of angels to put in your yard. I bought a little angel and put it in amongst the forget me nots in your Memorial garden. It looks very happy there..
I must go now and water your flowers.. have a wondrful day little one ~
