Light bulb moments

I agree with almost everyone elses Huh moments. My big Huh moment was when CA said she had never met the nanny, didn't know where the nanny lived and had no phone number for the nanny. I've seen some disagreements on the other thread here by Grandmothers stating that they didn't know who babysat their grandchildren, but the difference is this... I was 17 when I had my son. I lived with my parents, same as KC. Since my mother was also a primary care giver for my son, just like CA, she knew who and where he was at all times. What if KC had gotten into a car accident and CA needed to get a hold of the nanny to pick Caylee up? What if CA got off work early and thought, hmmm. maybe I'll go pick up my darling grandbaby and spend the afternoon with her? EVEN MY FRIENDS knew who the babysitter was and had a contact number, in case something happened while we were out partying. I just can't believe that CA would just let this baby be with a nanny she had no contact for. Unless of course, there is no nanny, duh!!! Huh:waitasec:

Another thing that makes me :furious: is her using the word nanny instead of babysitter, daycare, etc. How many young broke single females have a nanny?? But it just sounds so much better, in keeping up with her fake prestigious lifestyle.

I agree with you 100% on all of it. My mother always knew my children's babysitters. Even after I move 300 miles from her. When she would come for a visit she would pick them up from the "BABYSITTER". Or at least thats what we call em out here in hickville. I have never met a person someone who refers to a "nanny". Not that I have a problem with the word or anyone using it. It is just not really a word I associate with common working (supposedly) folks.

Another light bulb moment for me was the "code" or whatever the heck it was between LA and KC. He knows something.

Or, how 'bout when Cindy said, "Maybe somebody else put a body in the car after it was left, ever think of that?"

I almost lost my cookies over that comment.

Didn't the world already hear KC's version of events?

"I am not lying about that, I do not know where Caylee is at. If I knew where she is at, none of this would be happening. She's ok. She's close. I feel that she is still in the area. She'll be home for her 3rd birthday."

My light bulb moment was seeing pictures of her partying in that blue dress at Fusion. The date on the pictures was June 20th, 2008. No mother "in her right mind" could have been partying like that at that time.
From then on it's just been a matter of how she did it and where did she put Caylee... for me.

My HUH moment. when george drove the car home from the tow yard with that horrible stink in the which could only be described as awful. The entire family had to know that stink was their decomposing granddaughter/niece/daughter and yet they keep right on with the "missing" routine. I think after smelling that and knowing what that stench was...I would NEVER be able to function again.

Mine was the 31 days when it came to Casey. For CA it came with the release of the first phone call and her calling Casey sweetheart, GAG.

Also, I've listened to that quite a few times and when she says "all you guys want is to find Caylee" (partial quote) the way she says Caylee is with such venom. If I didn't think she had done something after the 31 days those words, said the way they were said, would have rapped up any loose ends I had believing Caylee was alive. It was really said with such venom.

This might explain why CA supports her. She wants that baby-a replacement for Caylee.

That will never happen............Protective services will take it if there is one, and they would NEVER let CA get it because of her upholding KC in this, knowing her daughter killed her granddaughter.

Oh, not just excuses, they actually claimed some stranger, or maybe it was JG (they just aren't sure WHO exactly to blame yet), broke into Casey's trunk and planted ANOTHER dead body in there!!! ??!?

There are just truly no words.

I have to say that was the first really big laugh I had in this case. The visual of someone climbing over an 10ft fence with barb wire carrying a body, putting it in a locked trunk, then leaving. Later coming back, climbing over that same fence, grabbing back that decaying, stinky, leaking body, and climbing back over that fence just hit me funny as heck.

My huh?? moment is this:

Ca called 911. Stated there is a three-year-old child missing for a month, and "it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car" and no one in LE checks out the car that night. :waitasec:

The car was in the garage with the windows down and the trunk open. LE checked it out and took it the next day. Remember they were called late at night, the next morning, the car was towed away to LE impound for analysis.

They checked it out. Believe me, they were on it. CA is the one spinning the story that they didn't get the car for 2 days. Not so. It was taken on the 16th.

What I want to know is why GA and CA didn't call LE when they went to the tow yard and smelled the car. Oh, that's right, they needed to clean it and air it out first.

My light bulb moment - "2 year old not reported missing for 31 days". That was all I needed to hear.

Like for Lacy P. "the last time her husband saw the 8 month pregnant Lacy, she was barefoot and mopping the kitchen floor."

Like for JBR "6 year old found in basement of her home, tied up and strangled, 7 hours after she was reported missing".

7 year old child left home angry after being denied a cookie, later found dead in an alley.

7 year old just reported missing, although no one has seen her for 1 1/2 years.

Light bulb moment for me is a 'partying it up' mother that makes no mention to any of her friends that her little girl is missing! And doesn't report it to LE either! Just goes about her life as if nothing ever happened!:furious:

She so disgusts me!

Yep, ... just 4 days after the 16th when not one person can remember
ever seeing Caylee again.

Great thread!

My moment was when I realized KC was surrounded by media everywhere and not at any time did she mention her daughter or make a plea for the so called kidnapper to please bring her home. Nothing. Not a mention of her two year old child to the crowds of reporters. Not even a note.

Mine was when Lee Anthony after finding out that Caylee had been missing for more than a month asked, "Why would you want to get the police involved?"

I STILL can't believe I heard that right.

Or the fact that he laughed when saying how horrible the "smell" from the car was.

Maybe "horrified" is a better description of how I felt at his behavior both times.

I would guess they were waiting on the warrant. If I read those documents right they did not leave that house until they had that car. I believe there were officers there the entire night.

That was SO STRANGE. It almost sounded to me like HE had something to hide from the police at the time.

When Casey never once asked in her calls home whether LE had made any progress finding Caylee. Any other mother's first words on every call would be, "Any news yet??!!"

THAT'S the one that set off my meter!
