Well, there is that ridiculous "seizure" episode. I suppose they could claim all kinds of nonsense, and use that as a basis for a Traumatic Brain Injury'. Not that a jury would buy the seizure disorder not manifesting itself during the many Friday nights at Fusian...with the lights flashing etc.

I'm pretty sure the jail ICA is being held in has some very strict orders to note any "seizure" type episodes ICA might be having. But since ICA doesn't appear to think consecutively - I can imagine her sitting on her bunk thinking - was it today or tomorrow I'm supposed to have my next "seizure". I have long wondered if LKB was aware of the 250 K + that Jose got his hands on. It would not surprise me to discover she was under the impression there was very little money . Actually, I believe Jose was probably the ONLY one on the defense team aware of that money.
That could have a dampening effect on other team members. Working with Jose' would be hard enough for someone who cared about their professional reputation. Finding out he was scamming you might bring it to an abrupt halt.
She may not be ready to pull her name from the case just yet, but I don't think she's eager to be on team KC right now,either. Now ,if Jose' left the team.........

So now we know LKB is still in itfor the publicity and notoriety but not enough to spend her own money traveling to Tennessee to do depositions, since the JAC would probably not approve her travel expenses, and she won't be inconvenienced by leaving New York.

I think ol LKB is just waiting in the shadows for the trial. Keeping her costs down, distancing herself from some of the media appearances her co-counsel keep making.....not that I feel she's any better than that, just that her day is still to come. She gets to shine at "trial".......my guess is the other counsel are being used instead of the big guns like LKB - this way the new atty's get their free publicity.........and surely are doing this pro-bono for ICA........and LKB doesn't have to travel before trial. Perhaps the new atty(s) will handle the medical expert depos???? set up a nice transcript for LKB to come in and work with without having to actually do the work herself.....if she works with the new atty at setting up the questions, then its no biggy. I want LKB to stay on ICA's team. Give it your best shot. I want a conviction based on a good trial. Let's give the "evidence" a true test! I believe it will stand-up to LKB, and the rest of the experts. I think that LKB has to stay on because to pull-out now would really look defeatist. It may cause more speculation than the defense team could manage to spin. But then again I didn't expect AL to leave the team. Knowing why she did does make sense, but I don't see that for LKB. I believe we'll see her at trial. She'll be the one sitting next to ICA is my guess, being consoling and comforting. Now that AL is not there to handle her.

Seems to me we'd have heard about a traumatic brain injury. There would be lots of medical documentation, hospitalization records. rehabilitation records. No doubt SP, CA. GA et al would have thrown that out as a possible rationale for the lies, anti-social behaviour etc. in a deposition or LE interview. At least you'd think.....if it was real.
But I can see JB trying to turn some shoving match between CA and ICA where she got a bump on the noggin and cried, into a traumatic brain injury. I know these people are causing my brain trauma lol! He's got nothing else to work with plus she's signing on for free. I guess they're really going to focus on a jury of KC's true peers. Nobody can have a HS diploma, a job, a home of their own or a clue. It's the only way a jury would buy an undocumented trauma that would justify murder IMO. :crazy:

LOL!! I so hope KC can recount her seizures in jail and forgets they have to be witnessed. A feature of non faked seizures, is that the person seizing has no memory of the event. You may have a clue if you wake up on the floor covered in various body fluids and have a history of seizures.
Did Mama CA, the devoted RN take her daughter to a neurologist for her seizures I wonder? I'd feel better knowing an MD called it a seizure and not just one of her boyfriends.

Isn't it being speculated that their roles on the defense team are to cross examine and attempt to discredit these forensic experts? If so, wouldn't it make more sense that they would want to be the ones to depose those experts?

It's my understanding that LKB attended via Skype.

But I've been known to be wrong on occasion.

As predicted, yet another of Casey Anthony’s defense lawyers is jumping ship. Linda Kenny Baden recently announced, with considerably less fanfare then when she entered the case, her notice of intent to withdraw from the now, somewhat beleaguered defense team. Although Ms. Baden cited financial hardship as the reason for filing her motion to withdraw, one could certainly question whether it was for perhaps a more ignoble reason, like, say, having exhausted the opportunity for self-promotion and publicity. She and other quitters, who likewise climbed aboard to take complete and utter advantage of the local, state, national, and international media coverage of the Casey case, have abandoned Miss Anthony now that the real case work has finally commenced.

I know this is an old article but one I just happened upon...BS sums this up perfectly and states what others may have been thinking...Publicity time is over now that the "real" case work has begun, financial reasons, Bah Hubug!...JMHO
