Dina Lohan couldn't be happier that Lindsay Lohan is going to work for Oprah Winfrey.

Turning up at Real Housewives star Jill Zarin 's first annual Luxury Ladies' Luncheon presented by the European Wax Center, the troubled starlet's mom dished to E! News about the eight-part reality series Lohan's doing for OWN that will chronicle her journey to rebuild her career once she's out of rehab .

"Oh, it's fantastic. If anyone is going to help mentor you, it's going to be Oprah," Dina told us over the weekend.

Asked whether she'll appear on the program, the elder Lohan hinted that was a likely scenario...

Lindsay Lohan left rehab this evening upon completion of her 90-day sentence for reckless driving and giving false information to a peace officer stemming from a car crash last summer.

Though we heard that her official, yay-freedom release time was supposed to be at the crack of midnight, the actress was photographed leaving Cliffside Malibu at around 6 p.m. She was spotted smoking a cigarette outside the facility before she hopped into an SUV and was driven away.

E! News has learned that after leaving the facility, Lohan made a stop at the Theatricum Botanicum playhouse in Topanga to catch a performance...

The sad truth is her risk for relapse is very high.

Although I can appreciate why Lindsay did the Oprah interview, imo it was too soon and felt to me exploitative at best. Who was the real winner?

Oprah seemed to struggle with her questions, and did not get any nuggets or unexpected answers, as per script.

Lindsay's not coming to terms with the negative influence from parents was key. She has a long way to go, as much as I want to believe her resolve this time around.

Nonetheless, I'm pulling for her....I wish her only the best.

Lindsay Lohan's Mom Dina Lohan Arrested for DUI: See Her Mug Shot

Lindsay Lohan 's 50-year-old mom was arrested in Long Island last night after being pulled over in her BMW by the cops for speeding, E! News confirms.

Dina was stopped around 11 p.m. for driving 77 miles per hour in a 55 zone. Police administered a blood alcohol test, which she failed for having more than twice the legal limit in her system (.20). She was then booked at a local station.

According to the New York State Police, after being taken in to a local station, "Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest. State Police called an ambulance to have Lohan evaluated. When emergency personnel arrived and evaluated Lohan, there were no injuries, and she recanted her claim."

In her mug shot, Dina looks visibly upset after being arrested. She was later released to a third party and issued two tickets for DWI and aggravated DWI...

Dina Lohan is maintaining her innocence. Accompanied by her attorney, Mike Heller, the 51-year-old appeared at Nassau County District Court in Long Island, N.Y., on Tuesday, Sept. 24. Lindsay Lohan 's mom pleaded not guilty to DUI charges stemming from her Sept. 12 arrest.

Judge Joy Watson granted Dina release to supervised probation. Dina then surrendered her driver's license and left the court in a chauffeured silver Rolls-Royce. She is due back in court on Oct. 23...

The sad truth is her risk for relapse is very high.

Every addict's risk for relapse is super high - through the roof, really. Most people who struggle with addiction are not able to put it down "one day at a time" for a life time. Relapse is an accepted reality of recovery.

That said, I have high hopes for Lohan. She deserves the peace that accompanies a sober life and every day she walks towards that is a victory.

Don't addicts and alcoholics ever get advised to quit blaming others and take full responsibility? I'd think if a person is over age 21 the family troubles just don't cut it as an excuse. Logan is getting up there in age, and may have family stress contributing to anxiety, but how can she continue to blame others for her drinking and drug use?
