Baez deserves sanctions. Cindy perjured hersefl during the trial regarding the crucual point of premeditation. Crazy lawsuits?

Yes, if Cindy is threatening to sue a computer software company because they got the number of chloroform hits wrong, when she stated that whatever happened if must have been her - on whatever day and whatever time, then she has nothing but a broken chicken wing to stand on. Does she have money to bring lawsuits, or is the entire family able to claim indegence and have them battle each other in the courts at the taxpayers expense?

What would Cindy have testified to if it was not 84 hits ... that she was not at work and if someone on the computer looked up chloroform it must have been her ... how would she have changed her testimony if it had been 5 hits?

Right - because on the stand (and I remember this) she said "if "it" says I searched for it, then I did, I was at home, etc., etc, etc". Not once did she say "I searched Chloroform 1 time and 1 time only". Only that she did whatever "it" said.

Not exactly a great foundation for a law suit if you ask me.

Gosh I promised not to respond to another FCA post, but this is how I see it.

CA & GA are now yesterdays news, and they are none too happy about it. This little tidbit is just for attention! We all know that this pitiful excuse for a lawsuit has nothing to do with suing anyone - it's simply for attention. CA saying "I'm over here - look at meeeeeee". Just like FCA.

She'll sue Santa Claus next, or maybe the easter bunny. There's just no sane reason for this, other than media attention.

IMHO.

They are so yesterday's news, but Nancy Grace picking up the missing mom of the triplets was a month and a half late and also not breaking news.

I was cleaning out some boxes in the garage today and came across Keith Ablow's book about Scott Peterson. I don't remember buying it, always thought I wanted to read it because of comments I read on this forum ... brought it in the house and realized that I wasn't the least bit interested in reading the old story because I know that story and there's a new story. That is Ms Anthony's story ... a dusty cover in the garage waiting to live at the dump.

I agree, keep their names in the news to sell that book or get an interview. This has no chance of going anywhere, is a waste of the Court's time if it happens, Mr. Bradley's time, and Lippman's, but Lippman seems to have the time. I don't see any $$ coming from this at all. CA said she did whatever searches herself, it doesn't matter the quantity. She was not charged with anything, it did not hurt her in any way. Except pending perjury charges maybe. In fact, it was largely dismissed by the jurors on the KC case. Cindy, it was KC's case, not your performance case.

All about attention.

She said that she was home on that day, whatever day it was ... if it was a search for chloroform, then she did it ... and that she searched for chlorophyl but a pop up turned into chloroform ... Ms Anthony was laughing her head off during her mother's testimony. Cindy said that she thought the dogs were eating bamboo shoot leaves and that prompted her to search chlorophyl which automatically turned into chloroform.

Who exactly is she going to sue and why?
Where has she been wronged and when will the Florida Bar Association establish some boundaries for officers of the court?

The Florida Bar Association is a bit of a joke all over the world today because they sit back and watch while buffoons make a mockery of the law.

That doesn't mean that other countries are interested in paying for an inteview with a baby killer. I think the rest of the world is more likely waiting to see if someone in the United States will buy an interview with the baby killer and, if not, then it's nothing more than a game of hide and seek for the Waldo in the pink shirt and skinny jeans.

What will the interview offer ... a giggling woman talking about how she twiddled a bunch of 40+ married men into flying her across the country and back ... and then?

I tend to think that the A family is just angry and lashing out right now. It is unfortunate that John Bradley is in their sites, and hopefully this has no merrit. I actually tend to think that their upcoming vacation is a GOOD thing for them; they need to cool their jets. When they get back, I think it's time for therapy. Both of them.

I'm not getting what they have to be angry about. Their daughter just walked free. They seemed pretty happy about that. According to their lawyer they are negotiating (if not already have IMO) a book deal. So they are angry about what.

Nicole Simpson's sister commented the other day that if people don't take time to grieve (that would be Caylee's grandmother) they will malfunction when they least expect it. I thought that Cindy was finally griieving when she broke down on the stand ... but I was fooled. I think the only person in that family that has begun to grieve is George - which is probably why the defense attacked him. He was the only one that got if from the beginning ... the only one that was willing to state the facts about the disappearance of Caylee.

I don't think Cindy is angry, I think she still thinks that she is in a power struggle with her daughter, and I think that Casey is still in the same game. Cindy knows how to push her buttons better than anyone, and she doesn't know how to stop ... any more than Casey does.

Cindy has negotiated a book deal in NY, but we can assume it's written by someone else with Cindy's voice, the fake lying voice, in there somewhere.

Do something honest for once in your life Cindy and get a job.

I seem to recall this pattern with CA before: find a something she thinks is a mistake and bray about being wronged by some huge issue. C. Zenida Gonzales comes to mind. A Disney dress found in the woods. Caylee was a person who met Zanny's dog. An interviewer who asks the 'wrong' question.

Like a child, she zooms in on her perception of the recipients incompetence to claim righteous indignation. Oh, and I guess a little money won't hurt, either.

Just imo.

Didn't JB say that KC did that search because of what was on RM's computer and she was curious?

  • #112
I think I should be able to sue all the Anthony's for making my head feel like it's gonna explode from all the lies.

  • #113
I really don't see where they have a case here. Seems to me you would first have to prove some kind of loss/harm and then that it was intentional. It's not there. I think Lippman just like being in the spotlight. Aren't his 15 minutes up yet?

If they really want to sue someone their best case would be wrongful death against FCA. Oh, that's right, she doesn't have any $$$ ... YET. Stay tuned if she ever does though!

Quite right. The only lawsuit that Cindy has regarding the death of her granddaugther is against her daughter ... what a dilema. I guess she could write a trashy novel about the event, right up until the moment her daughter turned her away after the verdict, but what's the spin? Wronged mother excluded from child murderer's post jail life? Loving grandmother mourns the loss or her grandchild (that won't be the title)? What's the book about ... sweet Casey turned into a con woman all by herself?

I told ya'll we were gonna need a spreadsheet for all the lawsuits............

BBM

And she's a narcissist who craves the spotlight and has been afforded the celebrity treatment by the media for the last 3 years. And she ain't going away!

Maybe CA likes testifying under oath. It's a way to vent her anger. jmo

They have a lot of nerve for complaining about someone else's testimony. I would like to sue them for theirs. This is weak. What standing do they have for this suit? Lippman doesn't even know what he's talking about. Bradley didn't produce the report that said 84 visits. LE did (using his software). Another witness said it was one visit anyway.

And the news reports keep saying "84 searches" but it wasn't a google search that was in question. It was about 84 visits to the sci-spot.com chloroform page. That, in fact, it wasn't 84 times doesn't change much of relevance to guilt. "how to make chloraform" was still searched, and she clicked on more than one of the search results, not just the sci-spot.com page. She searched on "chloraform" another day as well. The news keeps saying that correcting the mistake means it was only one "search" now instead of 84. That's wrong as to "searches" and as to the number. The reporting on this this point has been horrible.

Casey was acquitted and Cindy isn't being prosecuted so this is frivolous. I was starting to like Lippman for a little while, but noooooo.

I sue, you sue, everybody sue, sue.
Watch the Anthonys go to court.
E-I-E-I-0!!!!!!

I think this is ridiculous. I think it was an honest mistake, but even if it wasn't, there has been enough lying in this case to tie up the courts for a long time.
