Lisa Ann Gross - Cold Case Murder in Westerville, OH

Hello;

New here so first post. Interested in finding out if anyone has any more info on an unsolved cold case involving Lisa Ann Gross in Ohio on 05/21/01. I have the basic details of the case and have read/listened to what is posted online; I am currently waiting to hear back on my public records request...if you have any tips on where/how to begin looking into this for a newbie, I'd appreciate it.

I hope this case get solved. There are a number of unsolved cases where the victim was found in a bathtub. Two cases I have been looking at are the Julia Niswender case and the Markia Benson case, but there are others. It seems that for the murder of Lisa Ann Gross not many details have been given.

What could be the motive? Was the victim wearing clothes when found in the bathtub. Was there a sexual assault?

Or was this the killer a person who was burglarizing the home when the mother came home. She fled into the bathroom when she saw the burglar, but the burglar followed her into the bathroom and killed her before she could lock there the door.

I guess there are many possible scenarios with the few details we have. The shredded papers from the home office over the body and bathroom floor is an unusual detail. Somewhat similar to the Markia Benson case where old letters were torn up.

I have a friend who lived across the street, still resides there. She told me last week, 48 hours came to do a special but the case remains unsolved. Her family all submitted DNA to help our. I remember the neighborhood was new when this happened, nice suburb near maxtown road and westerville road. Seems like she was surprised, based on the groceries being dropped or leftunattended. I did ask a blendon pd officer about it years later, he said they looked at someone in the neighborhood but nothing came of it. Good luck, this was especially sad given that her kids found her.
