Lisa has been Missing for 6 Months now

redheadedgal, I thanked you for your post but I think I will now have to thank every single post you write because of your on-point siggy! Your analogy speaks for my heart. Thank you.

Where is Lisa?

With all due respect, I don't see how anyone could make up their minds the very first time they see her on t.v. What exactly set your radar off? Or did you see a different interview than I did? IIRC, Deb was crying, barely able to speak and appeared to be no different than other moms whose child has disappeared... how exactly was that enough to declare her guilty of disappearing her child?? I'm not trying to be snarky, I am just curious, because if you were a juror, you're willing to convict her without one shred of real evidence and that is scary as he77 to me!!!
Sorry if this comes across as rude... I don't mean it that way, I'm just stunned at the concept of making up one's mind so quickly.

:seeya: Let me see how I can explain this where it will make sense, at least some sense ... lol

What I do is I "listen carefully" to what is being said, as well as I watch the "body language" ... I look for "inconsistencies" in what was said, and Deb had a huge amount of changes in her "story and "timeline" ... I read the statements and "analyze" what was said as well as what was NOT said ... And as to "body language", I find it fascinating as I find it very close to the TRUTH ...

The first time I saw Deb on tv I immediately thought of Susan Smith with the fake tears and all her "drama" ... And Deb did not come across as "sincere" or "genuine" at all IMO ... and Jeremy's initial reactions towards Deb also raised my radar -- he seemed so "distant" and "confused" about Deb !

Another one is Josh Powell ... the first time I saw him on tv being interviewed my radar went through the roof ! No emotion whatsoever about his wife Susan being "missing" ... nothing ... you could easily tell he was lying and was hiding "something" -- which we now know was he was hiding a LOT !!

And within days of Lisa going missing, Deb and Jeremy stopped talking to LE ! And that right there did it for me because NO ONE is going to stop cooperating with LE within a couple of days of their baby being kidnapped from their home in the middle of the night ... Also, I did NOT buy the "story" about a "stranger abduction" ... too many "convenient" "coincidences" ...

Then we find out about her "drinking" ... and DB and JI lawyered up with 2 defense attorneyS ... and the "PI" from New York ... and on and on ... Now, the only time you hear from Deb is when her defense attorney is there to "control" the interview as well as answer questions for her ...

It is so obvious that Deb is hiding the TRUTH ... and IMO, she is so easy to read because she comes across as "fake" and "phony" ...

Oh I almost forgot the jury ? IF I am ever selected to be on a jury, my decision would be based solely on the trial, evidence, testimony presented ... I used to work for insurance defense law firms so I understand and have respect for the judicial system ...

LOL ... I probably would NOT be selected for jury duty anyway ... they don't want "posters" or "bloggers" ...

I hope this helps ...

Time is ticking DB...where is Lisa?

:seeya: Yes ... ticking away ... over 6 months now and where is Lisa, Deb ?

It is sooooo frustrating because when Lisa first went missing, there was so much going on, as there usually is in the beginning ...

And when the Search Warrant was revealed, I really thought this would be solved and Lisa would be FOUND !

But nothing now ... which is sad because it seems there will never be Justice for Lisa ...

dog.gone.cute never implied that if she were on a jury that she would vote guilty based on her first impression. I believe her post was a bit misconstrued. She never said that.

But it has been over six months now and it seems to me, too, that DB's actions could very well bolster dgc's initial intuition.

aww-- you are too sweet! thank you!!

when i read about stephanie's story it hit me like a ton of bricks -- and i am not a mother either. every mother i know would move heaven and earth to get to/help their child... to not do so, is a very clear indication that something is very wrong. and the "excuse" of being afraid of LE? doesn't cut it. at all.

... and DB and JI lawyered up with 2 defense attorneyS ...

does anyone know if either are "death qualified"?

love your new avatar pic!!! so precious!!!

I think you are right, dog, gone.cute, it looks to me as if it is another cold case. However, how these two people ever pulled it off is beyond me.

I still think about Baby Lisa....this is horrible that she is still missing.

does anyone know if either are "death qualified"?

Respectfully Snipped and BBM :

:seeya:

I read somewhere that Picerno is "death penalty qualified" in the State of Missouri ...

I checked out his website a while back, but I could not find anything specific stating that he is DP qualified ...

Here is the link to Picerno's website :

http://johnpicerno.com/topics/picerno.html

As to the other attorney, Joe Tacopino, he is NOT licensed to practice in Missouri ... just like Bill Stanton is NOT licencsed to "PI" in Missouri ...

I am NOT sure if Tacopino is DP qualified ...

Anyone know ?

TIA !

:seeya: I hope I am "wrong" on this one and it does NOT become a cold case ...

I just cannot believe it has been over 6 months now and NOTHING ...:banghead:

And I agree : how these two pulled it off is beyond me also ... as well as "how" do they sleep at night ?

I know DGC..I hear ya.

They pulled it off by having a benefactor step in and hire three different High profile defense attorneys. At about the third day, they had a Law professor with them for a LE interview. All in all, they had four different defense attorneys. They have an international one who panders to the media and threatens LE to dare try and bring them in.

LE could have solved this case within two weeks....but the rich oil woman from Texas stepped in and protected them and spent major bucks doing it.

As we can see on the news, babies under one year, who are actually kidnapped are often found.

This was no kidnapping. LE needed the parents to talk. Attorneys shut them up. There is not enough evidence to bring charges. Most of us have a pretty good idea what happened to Lisa. My personal belief is DB killed her.

I don't think DB ever bonded with the baby. If anything, JI looked more interested in Lisa than she did. It is my opinion and I arrived at it by looking at photos on Dr. Phil. If they ever run out of money and get down-trodden, the truth may emerge. As of now, all their bills are paid and life, at least money-wise, has taken a turn for the better.

And DB has LOTS more time for "adult time" now,as well.

That's very true. Without all the high money rollers, the parents would have been just like any other parents who either murder or cover up a death of their child. They would have most likely continued to talk to LE and would have eventually told LE what happened to Lisa. I think that in my heart, I can now add the benefactor and the team for complete injustice for Lisa. What a heartbreaking thing for this innocent child. :(

There have been plenty of people, who had high-profile defense attorneys and even more $$$, who ended up being arrested and put on trial. The reason why Deborah hasn't been arrested is because LE has not found Lisa. What would they charge her with? 1st degree murder? Manslaughter? It would not be hard for the defense to create reasonable doubt; all they have to do is convince the jury that it's possible Lisa is still out there. Besides not talking to LE, what other "privileges" have they gotten through their lawyers?

I will be shocked if there are ever charges in this case...especially charges against the parents. Guilty or not, there were/are just too many weirdos somehow related to the case to make any kind of a clear prosecution of either or both of the parents, IMO. Even if Lisa is found, I am not sure how LE can go about charging, unless they have more than the hit in the home. JMO

Also, refusing to talk to LE is not a privilege, but a right given to us in the constitution. If the Irwins didn't have lawyers, would they be talking to LE? Possibly, because a lot of people aren't familiar with their rights. Yes, I do think it makes them look guilty...but I don't look at it like, "They have hot-shot lawyers so they don't have to talk to LE so they've gotten away with murder."

I follow the JBR case too, and the Ramseys were also criticized for not cooperating with LE, but there's been a lot of information released about the shady relationship between the Ramseys' lawyers and the Boulder DA and even the Colorado government. I would be shocked if there's that much corrupt behind-the-scenes stuff going on in this case. At this point, I think the lack of progress in this case is due to them having no concrete proof what happened to Lisa.

Considering the reports in the news about mothers killing their own kids I can see why it would be easy to jump to that conclusion. But no charges. YET I still wonder if this baby was taken for nefarious reasons and is a stranger crime. In some cases the culprit is usually in LE case file within the first week. Alot of times these crimes are committed by drifters, drug addicted, menacing characters who take their victims as a crime of opportunity. There is enough hinky in this case IMO to not rule out stranger abduction. JMO.

Look at Keegan Schuchart. His mother was shot in a parking lot and he was taken by a woman desperate for a baby. It's crazy, but random stranger abductions DO happen. It's why I'm fence sitting - there's just not enough information for me. After Jaycee Dugard, I've learned not to jump to conclusions.
