Lisa Irwin Disappearance - Thoughts and Theories ONLY!

2 minutes in DB talks about dumpster fire. Notice how she is looking away from the reporter for this answer, to the right, and also closes her eyes during the answer:

http://www.fox4kc.com/news/wdaf-add...-lisa-irwins-parents-20111011,0,5050853.story

Compare that with this brief video on how to use the eyes to determine if someone is lying:

http://youtu.be/E3PAW7zjgPw

Also, why doesn't she name who the family member is she spoke with?

ETA: ALSO, why would she know about this dumpster fire and not tell Jeremy???

I find it odd that the mom says in this interview that she vaguely remembers hearing something about a dumpster fire.
Wouldn't that be a VERY SIGNIFICANT piece of info and a MAJOR concern to hear when your baby is missing. My first thought when I heard abut the dumpster fire was. OH NO!

That being said, I am still not sure if I think the mom had anything to do with it, I am suspicious but I keep going back and forth.

I find it odd, that jeremy answers for her,"we" how does he know what she's heard. And turns out he doesn't know.

I totally think DB did it:

Who in their right mind makes a list of 9 possible suspects in the vanishing of their child?
Why would you get all upset and accuse the police of saying You did it?
Her story just totally does not add up.
Why was she making a 2:30 A.M. Phone call/be on the computer when she supposedly went to bed at 10:30?

The "Susan Smith" tears......

The failed Poly....

list goes on...... I now think JI had no idea what was going on but suspects mommy has something to do with it and he may be covering for her.

Yes I have come around to this notion as well. I do believe Debbie had an accomplice, but that it wasn't Jeremy.

And I am suspicious that this was murder.

ETA: I don't believe he is covering for her per se, just that he doesn't want to believe the notion that she is covering something up.

I totally think DB did it:

Who in their right mind makes a list of 9 possible suspects in the vanishing of their child? Whether she did it or not, I am guessing she was not in her "right mind". Also, I personally feel that coming up with a list of potential suspects is not all that strange.
Why would you get all upset and accuse the police of saying You did it? If they were accusing me of harming my child and I did not do it, you can BET I'd be upset!
Her story just totally does not add up. I don't think we know the whole story, just bits and pieces.
Why was she making a 2:30 A.M. Phone call/be on the computer when she supposedly went to bed at 10:30? We don't know for sure who made this phone call...do we?

The "Susan Smith" tears......This could go either way for me, hard to tell.

The failed Poly.... I personally don't trust poly's, there was a discussion on here when the poly news came out and one person said they lied on a poly and still passed and another said there have been cases where people failed poly's but were found innocent. So, I'm kinda skeptical about poly's.

list goes on...... I now think JI had no idea what was going on but suspects mommy has something to do with it and he may be covering for her.
Why would he cover for her if he thinks she did something to their baby? Maybe he would, but maybe not.

Red by me. I am not sure she didn't do it, but I am not sure she did either. I really have no clue. Yes, I am suspicious but the things you mention I feel can be explained. I could be wrong!
Moo

I would list every Tom, Dick and Harry including everybody I know as well as Santa Claus, the toothfairy and the easter bunny if I thought it would help the police find my baby,

Just a thought, could the boys have been watching Lisa when the mom went to the store and that is when something happened to her. Mom came home, became frightened because she left the two young boys with Lisa, she was responsible, and "dumped" Lisa, then came up with the kidnapper story. Maybe that is why she conveniently forgot about the shopping trip. Has LE talked to the boys? Is LE allowed to talk to the boys?

I am not suggesting that the above happened, it was just a thought that went through my mind. So many things that the parents have said do not make sense , and we have another missing child. The thought that she may never be found, and no one will be responsible for this young life upsets me. It has happened too many times, children go missing, and then are forgotten. We have to speak up for them. The little ones are the victims!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for posting the link to this clip. Wow! I mean, I'm no Lillian Glass, but come on!

And, yes, the fact that she would not have mentioned the dumpster fire to Jeremy speaks VOLUMES.

So thanks again. Your post has helped me to make my mind up about this case.

Only reason I would make a list is if I was wanting to take the heat off of me and put it one someone else.

Someone made a phone call at 2:30 A.M. in the morning: it was either Deborah or the kids.......

After I read this I wanted to watch Susan Smith so I got on youtube and found this little video. A fantastic reminder of not just Susan Smith but several others who went in the media with boo hooo hocus pocus tears who professed their innocence. Worth the reminder for any true crime junkies like me.

Why do killers speak out - YouTube

Others may have pointed this out already, if so I'm sorry, I'm just now reading this thread.

As for the above video....I watched without sound because I had already seen the video's and the number one thing I noted with each of the interviews is that they all shook thier heads no while talking. All of them had the fake act grieving also, crying at just the right time.

I also notice "Wild Bill" Stanton in the video, and it labels him as "former NYC police officer. Ironic that he is now involved with this case as a PI.

I don't know, I doubt the other children harmed their sister....... they are 6 and 8.

Ok..I've seen you mention this 2:30 A.M. phone call...I haven't heard anything about this..can you break it down for me and post the link to it please...thanks.

I think that is what he is doing..... does not want to believe she could do something like this.

I am not sure this is a fact that has been confirmed. I know there has been a lot of talk about it, but I don't think it's been confirmed by police that a phone call was made at all. Where did we initially get that info? Anyone know? Maybe someone else can confirm. Remember, the 3 phones in the house were supposedly missing so.... if a phone call WAS made at 2:30 from the house, then whatever happened must have happened after that time.

it's in the Timeline:

This is very helpful information if you (like me) are still questioning things.

HTH!

BBM

When he gave the press conference last night I was like-- I think that guy was in the video about why suspects talk to the public. I had to go back and look to make sure.

In regards to the list-- I don't find it odd at all. When the info about the list first came out, it was reported that the list included people who had been at/in the home for repairs, etc. It doesn't sound like the parents went to police with this already prepared list of suspects. I think the list was put together after some thought.

The best way to know that there was a 2:30 call/text is to watch Captain Young when he is asked about it. Basically he says he can't comment on it, which IMO indicates that it does exist. Unfortunately I don't remember which video it is. You can find them here:

Also, it was reported by Fox News, which appears to be where things get leaked to. MOO.

LE asked them to make a list.
