Megyn Kelly is airing a new 5 part special on her YouTube channel about Lisa Irwin. She has interviewed many people related to the case. Most notably, in the teaser preview, it appears she tracked down John Tanko and spoke with him. A new part will be posted each day this week. Here is part 1.

Hi Nina. I've missed you. Thanks for this thread. I will definitely be checking out this series.
Aww. Hi Ranch! 😃 It is great to "see" you again. It has been a while. My circumstances are quite different so I do not have as much time as I used to.

Lisa's case is still near to my heart so I am so thankful that this new special is getting eyes on her case again.

Part 1 is mostly a recap of information we have known for the last nearly 14 years. One part that stuck out to me was the more in-depth view into the early "interviews" (interrogations) of the parents by police. From watching, it was once again clear to me that police heavily interrogated the parents in the initial days, even attempting to turn them against each other using interrogation tactics. The police then claimed they were no longer cooperating when they refused to submit to further tactics. Sean O'Brien, a local attorney who became involved in the first few days, as well as Bill Stanton and the other professionals who were around the parents at the time corroborated the idea that the parents WERE cooperating.

I lack time to go into further detail at the moment, but after watching part 1 and part 2 I am more convinced than ever that the investigation into Lisa's disappearance was mishandled from the start. Blinders were put on and anything pointing away from the parents or Deborah specifically was ignored or dismissed. It's truly a damn shame we are here over a decade later with no answers for this baby and her family. And KCPD still refuses to comment.

Part 2 is below.

You haven't changed a bit. You are still giving us an amazing insight to this case.

Part 3 is available.

This part includes a pretty significant amount of time talking with Megan Wright, which is interesting. By FAR the most interesting part of this episode is a revelation by attorney Cyndi Short. After she parted ways with the parents legal team, she interviewed John Tanko at the jail for 10 hours back in 2011 when he had been arrested on unrelated charges. During that interview, he admitted that he found three cell phones on an overpass near the Irwin home during the time frame of Lisa's disappearance. It is hard to tell from the video but it sounds like he was at least suggesting or alluding that these were the 3 missing cell phones. Cyndi said she came away from that 10 hours thinking that at certain points he was on the cusp of a confession. I would suggest watching that entire segment for a clearer picture of these details.

I am floored by this. She said he claims he told this to law enforcement. Now more than ever I am beyond baffled at law enforcement's claim that they have "moved on" from Tanko. Knowing that tidbit, I for one cannot "move on". There is some discussion among Megyn and the investigators later on in the video that I think is spot on - it seems as if he shared that information as a way to explain why his fingerprints or information (phone call to his ex?) would be present were those phones ever to be found.

Thanks for starting this thread and posting the updates. It's on my watch list (I'm so far behind right now!). I followed this case closely when Baby Lisa first went missing and through the years and would love to see her found and everything resolved. As for who did it and what happened to her I don't know and am not going to guess but am interested in what MK's guests have to say so I am not reading your spoilers!

Part 4 is available.

This part goes into some rumors about Lisa's disappearance. Some police reports are included. One man facing criminal charges for an auto theft ring told police that he heard another man paid Dane (the man who MW claims had her phone) to move Lisa's body. Apparently the owner of the house MW was staying in had photos of a riverbank that was said to be the gravesite. It is a convoluted story and hard to relay by text.

This part also includes some questioning of the parents about what life has been like without Lisa and frankly it is difficult to watch as it is devastatingly sad. Police have not contacted them about the case in over 10 years.

In tomorrow's part, Megyn will air her conversation with John Tanko captured by hidden camera. Evidently he did actually speak with her at length.
