I don't know about the rest, but a mortgage loan is still required to be paid in full,no matter what, and no matter how they had to go about it to get it paid off.Maybe the bigger question is,was she on the loan as well?If they could come to no agreement, then a judge would decide how much each would pay on it.
Not necessarily. You can sometimes get a lender to agree to a "short sale" Meaning there is not enough to pay it off and they accept whatever they can get for the house.
The lender can try and collect the deficiency from the borrower, but they also may not file a claim at all.
Either which way there is financial trouble.

I think the real tragedy is that this loving mom's influence can be totally erased from these kids in a few short years without her (assuming Craig is the 🤬🤬🤬 we assume him to be and doesn't get caught for this).

Yes,of course, and those kids need counseling and possibly meds to help them deal...have gone thru bad things myself,so I know.Unfortunately unless her body is found and he does time for it,I doubt it will happen.I hope they get to go live w the aunt,I think they would feel much better.I can't believe he has been arrested since the blood was found...I think that's pretty slack.

Fox news is reporting that a goodwill employee reported someone dropped off several bags of women's clothing and jewelry and two days later that person saw Craig on tv and recognized him as being the one who brought the stuff in.

I would say this could definitely make him look more guilty!! Wow!

Do you have a link to this story?

I'm thinking the same thing, but

If she recently lost 40 lbs perhaps she had boxed up some of her larger sized clothes. I wonder what the clothing size was which was dropped off....

It truly wouldn't surprise me if Craig is telling the children that their mother didn't love them and took off to live a new life without them. If this is true that Craig took some of Lisa's clothing to the goodwill I am just lost for words if this is true Craig S is a heartless evil man without a soul. Scott P got rid of Laci's SUV and Craig gets rid of Lisa's clothing it's like he wants LE and the media to trail him, it's like a game to him he believes he's out smarted everyone IMO.

It was reported last night on chicago's fox news. I checked to see if it was on their website so I could include a link late last night and it wasn't on there. I'll look again today and if I find it I'll update here. As for the timeframe they only said the employee saw Craig on tv two days later and called LE.

I've lurked for awhile and thought I would add this.. I hope I did the link rigiht.. A body was found in Bareveld right by the Blue Mound State Park.. The person was nude.. and they are still trying to find out the sex. It's about 3 hours away from Lisa house. I wonder if it's her b/c it would make sense that he would know the state parks if he hunts and camps. The only other person I know of in WI that is missing is Keith Gores from Milwaukee..

It's not on the website, but the promos for the 9 o'clock news said something about new information in the case.

I knooooow this is from like 8 days ago (I'm a mite behind) but I FOCLMAO when I read this Liz. HiLARious!!!!

Can always count on getting my laughs for the day, between you, Fran 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and JBean . . . I thank you all.

(Disclaimer: This does not, in any form or fashion, mean there are not many more folks here whom (or is it who?) I consider to be humourous as well :D )

"Craig's lawyer says the reports about the discovery of Lisa's blood in Craig's truck have upset his client."

Oh gee, now he's upset.

Somebody please, get that dude a new box of kleeenex!

I just read the cbs2chicago.com article where Craig Stebic replies to a question from CBS 2 Mike Puccinelli on recent hunting trips: When I asked him about using the truck for recent hunting trips he referred to the last weekend before Lisa disappeared saying, “We used it to hunt rabbits that weekend.” Rabbit season runs from November to January in Illinois. I'm sure the police & the Illinois DNR have duly noted that statement. He's reaching to explain the blood away. Unfortunately, I believe that Lisa is dead & her body was transported in that truck. I'm sure the police are figuring the time he had & his knowledge of local parks & hunting spots where he could bury her body. That is where she will be found. I pray for those poor children.

All just my opinion of course.
