I received a copy of "Mommy's Little Girl" for Christmas. I have not completed it as yet but was surprised to read in Section 30, page 132 (DF's recreation of what might have happened), that Caylee was placed in a waterproof canvas bag and stuffed into a black plastic garbage bag. I had always thought that Caylee was placed in two black plastic garbage bags and then into the canvas bag. This really caught me by surprise.

I think the author got that wrong, imo.

recently i passed by the woods were caylee was found. i did not get out of car and it was dark. it was an impulse as i was coming back from airport and the people i picked up said can we pass by? i never was there before even though its not that far for fl residents. what surprised me was the woods and school were in a cul-de=sac area. the school was near so i really wondered why roy would go pee in area so close to children . ok- i know he went into woods-lol. also as a local of fl i thought it was almost a lake as they described the lot- its not! maybe it was flooded but some reports made it sould like it was a lake !! nothing more than low-wet lands. i was surprised ! it was not a lake you would go fish in or bring a boat- it was just a lot!!woods, trees and some flooding at time i would guess. fl can flood and lots are submerged in hurricane type events.

I'm surprised to learn that AL's book is out today (thanks Angel) and joins the other books written by those associated with the defense. I don't see how these folks could find time to write books but could not find time to prepare for trial. Guess I'm missing something.:waitasec:

That someone with 31 days to deal with evidence left so much and left so close by. That baffles me. Still makes me think the dumping of the body by the road and still wrapped in so much evidence from the house was a decision made under some sort of pressure. It is just not a thought out plan whatsoever.

This video, I had not seen it before. The reporter says "if Cindy A. could send a message to her Granddaughter", which is followed by (response from Cindy), "Caylee you know I love you dearly and if you see me on TV go up to the TV and say CC I love you, I want you back too". And there we have it.

After watching the u-tube of AL in today's news, I was surprised that AL sews! She offers this as info that most people probably don't know about her and that would surprise them. There was talk of Casey's aqua blouse (the one that matched AL's outfit) having been hand made. I would be surprised if AL didn't make that blouse herself in an effort to align KC with her and make her feel closer to her attorney! And it might explain why KC wore it a second time at the last hearing.

What is strange also is the fact that the backing for that heart shaped sticker is on an envelope which contained a birthday card for Caylee from JG on her second birthday. Ironic to say the least when you think JG said KC broke up with him because she felt he loved Caylee more than her.

Yike. Again I am surprised. (Then again, this case is redefining "surprised" for me.)

There are 2 things that surprise me -
1- that CA or GA didn't go knocking down every door they could looking for their "live" granddaughter
2- That they didn't choke the "truth" out of KC when they had they chance

There are many more things that "surprise" me but these two I will never comprehend....

Those tapes of Casey cashing Amy's checks are what gobsmacked me. I readily admit I have very little of a criminal bent (don't follow me in traffic, tho). But to just boldly walk into a bank with a stolen check, politely smile and play with your hair, and take the money from your best friend's account.....to shuffle your items and smile and chat with the clerk at Target, and sign a stolen check to pay for it all........I'd have been peeing myself in terror of getting caught and going straight to jail, and it didn't even phase her. Cool as an icicle.

Did you notice George's facial expressions and even his body language along with the facial expressions...especially in the middle video? His eyes would get almost a crazy look in them. He acted like he was high as a kite. I have never seen him act like that since this all started.

This made me think of the matching bracelets that Casey made for herself and Tracey....! LOL

I have to agree with you, especially since I doubt there is ANYONE who is NOT aware that every time you walk into a bank, you are under video surveilance.

This is not something I have just found out, but something that surprises me each and every time I watch it..

"I miss Caylee every day and every minute of every day. I can't be there for Caylee's funeral, but some day I want to go and visit her grave and tell her how much I miss her.
"I left my parents to be in charge of the funeral for Caylee. I told them I wanted her buried in a casket, and I wanted there to be a gravestone so I can go and visit her. I asked them if there could only be a private funeral for just the family. I know they cremated her. I still don't want a public event with cameras and everybody around for Caylee's service, but I can't stop my parents from doing what they want. I truly hope that it will help them."

Throughout this whole case, I have always believed Casey killed Caylee. From the day this broke on the news and the 31 days was revealed as the time that Casey left her disappearance unspoken, I felt she was dead, and felt her mother killed her..
Nothing sealed that feeling more than this statement to me. Putting all the evidence aside, Casey herself, with her own words caused me to feel the way I do.
In her statement about the memorial, I was shocked that she took more time to throw her parents out there as being cruel to her wishes rather than express her love for her daughter. In so many situations she claimed that the media, the detectives and everyone else were misconstruing things she had said, and the one time she gave her attorney permission to read a statement, it was all about her wants.. Maybe I am just reading this wrong, but it does seem to me with this opportunity, if she were not guilty, instead of complaining about a public memorial, she would ask that the public band together to find a child killer. She would ask the public not to allow Caylee's death to be in vain, that it help open the eyes of parents who trust anyone and everyone.
I am shocked that Casey would choose to address a memorial of her child in this manner, however will not be shocked when the defense puts on their case..
