Has it ever been discovered how exactly JB came to be ICA's lawyer so quickly?? That still bothers me a lot and I cant find an answer to that question anywhere, other than what casey said. And we know how much we can believe what she says.

Nope. I have often wondered if Lee and/or CA hooked her up with him, well knowing she was going to need an atty ASAP. We'll probably never know.

I'm not sure but it was mentioned here on WS that JG may have contacted someone who eventually put up the reward money for Caylee and this person may have contacted JB initially. According to RH, JB showed up at the jail ready to assume the role of her attorney on the 17th so someone from the outside may have contacted him. Sounds about right.

Also the A's did not like JB and wanted someone else. They made no secret of the fact at the time. Funny how they accuse LE in the court hearing but they were the one's badmouthing him and trying to get KC to get another attorney. Funny, too, in all those jailhouse tapes we never heard the A's offer to pay for another attorney. jmo

My guess is she knew him (or knew of him) before, was in touch with him and he told her to let a PD handle the arraignment and he'd "see her tomorrow" kind of thing. To me, it means nothing that he wasn't there at the initial hearing. I think it was pre-arranged just when he would technically sign on as her attorney.

IIRC Jesse wasn't talking about Baez. He "reached out" to some high-roller in the community who he knew, either well or slightly, to put up some money.

I remember the name of the man but don't know if I can say it here. It doesn't matter because I don't think it was Baez.

It wasn't Baez. It was some other guy, land developer or something like that. As far as who called Baez..how about Lee? "You know what you've done". I just have a hard time believing KC could have rounded him up that quickly. Lee was already hot on the case. Lee also talks a bit in his first jail visit about Jose said this, Jose said that... he seemed to be having dialogue with JB early on. (despite what he said at the hearings last week, where he said he 'assumed' this stuff.)

Does anyone have a link to the media interview with CA where she states Casey never spoke on the 911 call? I don't think I have ever seen that one. I have discovered by googling that it took place July 24, 2008, but no links found. Not sure who did the interview either.

Kathi B. was interviewing her and I believe Cindy was hung up on the number of 911 calls, because she spent a great deal of time back then setting everyone straight that there were three calls not two. Kathi was asking about the second call, the call she believed was the last call. I hope that makes sense. This was before we heard the original call from the car.

I can't find the whole interview where she talks about Casey not talking on the 911 calls, but she is wearing the same shirt and the voice matches up to Michelle Meredith.

I've been looking around, but can't find anything about a funeral for Caylee. Just wondering - Other than the elaborate "Memorial" the family had for their own self interests, did they ever have a proper funeral? Or was that it?

I think I remember that Caylee was cremated - but where is she? Anyone know?

I think the term "proper funeral" might be different for everyone. Across this country and the world,there are many different traditions and beliefs.
I can say with some confidence,though,wherever Caylee's ashes ended up is not the same place that Caylee is KWIM?
I wear "cremation jewelry" since my child died ,and his ashes are still in a box. Works for me .
My understanding is,Caylee's ashes are at an undisclosed location due to media and public attention.

It was a toothbrush. It was on a list from JB but was only listed as tooth and was later corrected that the list was for Caylee's toothbrush.
