Before KC's car got towed she used sneaker cleaner from Tony's apartment and tossed the its container into the trash bag that ended up in her trunk.

How do you know Casey used the sneaker cleaner and not one of the guys at Tony's apartment? Is there documentation of this?

I don't know that somebody besides KC didn't use the sneaker cleaner.

Tony said it came from his apartment and that Clint had brought it into the house. Tony said he didn't think it was empty. Melich sidestepped responding to Tony about whether or not the sneaker cleaner was all gone. It ended up in the trash in KC's trunk. LE made a point to ask Tony questions about it.

Anyone from Tony's apartment could have used that sneaker cleaner and pitched it. However, KC is the only person accused of killing Caylee. It looks like KC wore tennis shoes in the Blockbuster video. KC's also the person the state thinks tromped out in the woods to dispose of Caylee and Caylee's possibly leaking body bags.

The sneaker cleaner is like KC washing clothes at RM's...just another piece of information.

On bb video from 16th @ approx 8 pm, KC appears to be wearing a gray man's 'wife beater' tee shirt and jean shorts. Any discussion about finding those clothes? I can't make out what kind of shoes she might be wearing but there may be trace evidence on the clothing she was wearing. Did she do all of her laundry at the A's? I don't remember if any mention of KC doing laundry at friends while couch surfing. Any thoughts?

I am so there with you. I've brought this up a couple times. I think it looks like she has on tennis shoes. But it is very hard to tell from the BB video. I did find one pair that maybe could be the ones, in the pictures from one of the search warrants, but I didn't do cartwheels over them. Just can't tell. But I have not seen any clothes in the search warrant pictures that look like what she is wearing in the BB video. She had a whole month to get rid of those clothes, thats what just kills me. KWIM? :cow:

I am not exactly sure what you mean by lesser crimes. Are you talking about the check fraud charges against Casey or the murder trial?

If Casey was convicted of murder she would be transported out of her jail cell and sent to prison.

If Casey is convicted on all charges against her for check fraud etc., etc., she "could" also go to prison depending on her sentence.

I wanted to know why the defense are dragging on the lesser charges (checks).Because she would go to jail or be convicted of a crime prior to murder charge.

Casey has already served more time than she would likely be sentenced to on the lesser charges while awaiting trial.

I think logically, the reason for the defense not wanting to go to trial on the lesser charges is that they are somehow related to defense strategy on the murder charge and they don't want to reveal that prior to the murder trial.

Another possible reason:
If it is tried after the murder charge, she could request the state give her a lawyer and pay his fee. The present lawyers wouldn't have to worry about the case.

If done before the murder case, she can't claim she needs a freebie lawyer for one, and pay the lawyers for the other. <wink> Also, These lawyers would have to be part of dealing with that case.

were later found, and James Thompson, who owns a Maitland computer
repair business, are now listed as potential witnesses in the murder
case. The role Thompson plays in the case is not known.

I think this might be the person who put together that animated computer video of the remains site. For some reason, I think I remember reading in a doc dump that a company in Maitland did this, but I don't have time to go try and find the docs right now. Does anyone remember this too? or know who James Thompson might be if this isn't his role?
