Still wonder what happened to the wine box. Did they finish it? Did DB send it home with the neighbor so JI wouldn't know she had been drinking so much? Was it still in DB's house? Or did it end up in the trash that day?

:waitasec:

There's a photo on MSM where JI and DB are embracing in their dining area-- there's a box of wine sitting at the head of the table. I wonder if that's the one, or if it's a new "stand in" for the breaking story about being drunk. I don't really trust them, or their shiny lawyer. jmo

Only fire I heard about was the dumpster fire, and that was dispatched at 2:19. :waitasec:

2:19 would have been approx. 90 minutes before she was reported missing at around 4:00am... ;)

There were two that were pretty close by. One was by the old casino building and right alongside the river. The other was closer to the house and right before the 911 call I believe.

That was reported very early on - I think in a dumpster in an apartment complex? In the threads way back, there's a map. I think someone else has a map - maybe Shelby in her timeline?

Then NG has her time wrong. Dumpster fire was called at 2:19...90 minutes from 2:19 is...oh... :floorlaugh:

Mark Klaas who I adore thinks the parents might have hid the baby in the house or area apparently. I highly respect this man and his opinions..

(snipped)

Kansas City police spokesman Steve Young told NBC Action News he expects the search to take several hours. A bomb squad truck arrived at the house around 11:30 a.m. In an email sent to media, Young said the KCPD Bomb and Arson squad truck was expected to arrive at the house soon, but just for use of equipment. There was no explosive device in the home, he said.

Young said the bomb and arson truck carried devices that will aid in the search, but he didn't go into detail. Many bomb units carry X-ray equipment that can scan solid objects and reveal items hidden within.

(OT: But I think a few LE thought differently when the transformer blew... they sure ran! :innocent:)

nancy mentioned that there was a small fire reported in the neighborhood 90 minutes before Lisa was reported missing.

First I heard of that.

Now the arson truck, all the sifting equipment, burned clothes etc. make sense.

Arson has other equipment that can use for other things besides fire.. but it could be I suppose. I figure that was why they searched the dump to either use it as evidence or exclude it as unrelated.. IE the dumpster was dumped after the fire and the searched the area in which the thing was dumped. And.. its gross but.. they couldnt have made a fire hot enough to burn a baby to ashes. I doubt the perp would have tried to burn a baby in the dumpster and then waited around to grab some burnt clothes and whatever was left of the human being to bring back home. Sorry, I know its gross, but true.

Not another night like last night...!

Casino dumpster fire was at 7:50 that evening, so not the fire NG is talking about. Also, we only know that because a poster who is in charge of security told us, so NG probably doesn't know about it yet.

(Hi, Nancy.)

NG discussing DB/JI behavior with a guest psychologist. Doctor saying DB took a cocktail of wine and medication, probably suffered a blackout; now talking about trauma having no timeline. Not condoning DB behavior but is saying there is a reason for it.

Caller (male) is talking about the cell phones and why didn't JI have one of them with him; as a father wouldn't he have that cell phone to be able to talk with his wife since it was JI's first night at work.

NG doesn't understand why the kidnapper would take all three cell phones. Questions if phone would be "off" to be charging. Caller still on the line saying he leaves phone on all the time in order not to miss text messages, even while phone is charging.

NG now talking about DB with Marc Klaas. MK believes NG is being too kind. She admitted to having a blackout; LE realizes that they have to go back into the house since they weren't given accurate information to begin with. MK saying if DB had been in such an inebriated state that night she would not have been able to take the baby out of the house and LE may be searching in belief baby may still be in the house. Who knows what one can do in that state of inebriation? Believes LE may find something beneath the floorboards, somewhere in the house, etc.

(good Marc!! :))

JS: Computer hard drive also removed from the house per search warrant and ladders being used by LE inside the house.

NG needs a teleprompter... just sayin. :great:

I respect him immensely and agree with him regarding her inability to get too far outside the house with a dead baby. However at this stage, wouldn't the odor permeate the entire house? Then there is that old trailer in the back yard also..........

:waitasec:

..me too.

..deborah could hardly WAIT to get on TV and tell us numerous times just how "drunk" she was ( and therefore has an excuse for her various stories not matching up..) ----i'd like to know how much they drank---and did the neighbour think deborah was "drunk"..?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!

Somehow I missed all the reports about the dumpster fire.

Sorry - I wasn't trying to make you feel bad...! There was "reportedly" a call/text from/to one of the phones around that time also.

BTW, was that ever confirmed? Seems like that Judge lady on TV confirmed it? :waitasec:

I have a problem with the "blackout" issue. If the mom really committed a horrible crime here she would be riding on the side of dumb coming out of that, panic even. If she realized she had done harm to her child she certainly in that state would not have come up with a plan that would foil LE unless she had help after the fact.
