It is interesting...
But the neighbor will surely be able to confirm that they were drinking wine earlier in the evening. And there must have been other neighbors who saw them sitting outside.

Perhaps.. or they were on their second box. I dont know any box wine drinkers, but I do know a few that can hold more liquor at one sitting than I drink in a year and remain upright so I guess a 2 box night is possible! :)

Baby bottle on the floor could be a number of things. Baby dropped it out of the crib (good chance baby would be crying). It fell out when the kidnapper took the baby out of the crib (and if she had been holding the bottle, good chance baby would be crying). It was staged to make it appear it fell out of the crib when the kidnapper took Lisa.

I agree. I thought to myself---well now why is that news? :)

Having had 5 kids, I can remember finding baby bottles all over the room when they were Lisa's age. Esp. one I have, he had an arm on him. But Lisa is her own person and not one of my kids so....

I agree, could be anything. :)

Don't forget we have a mother here who failed a poly. That is difficult to excuse....though I am sure many will try in an effort to be fair. I don't have to be fair.

Bouncing off your post, our kids had learned by that age to throw things out of the crib when they wanted us to come in there. I wonder if Lisa wanted someone, they never came, then she started crying more, and more... When a child has a cough/cold, the last thing you want is for them to cry b/c it just generates more mucous and gets them more congested. At least mine would - and then they would start coughing/sputtering...

Before even hearing of DB's "impaired" state, this was one of my first theories: that Lisa began coughing and/or choking and she was ignored. Now I firmly believe this is a very strong possibility even though I don't necessarily believe DB blacked out. Something could have happened to her while DB was outside drinking and they boys were watching the movie. Then only after the neighbor leaves, does DB go into the room and find Lisa. Knowing she was negligent, the story begins........

I think milk is also off the list for coughing also. If she left the baby in the crib with juice, that is also a no-no. Either way, she is most likely not the mother people think she is...

Yes, but apparently her "adult" time was more important than caring for her sick infant.

Well, there are those that do that and at all other times are decent parents. She is awfully young to have 3 kids IMO. A lot of young mothers are GREAT parents.. and still party. I guess you choose your times and situations.. this mother didnt it seems.

You must be like me.. no idea what adult time is! :) I am older.. started having kids older.. and had my youngest too late. I have no concept of "adult time" if its not with a babysitter.. who is grandma.. because Im paranoid. :p

What's curious to me about a baby bottle found on the nursery floor is that I've always wondered if DB staggered in there with a baby bottle, scooped up Lisa, started to feed her and then passed out. If she fell out of a rocking chair...ugh. Also, Lisa has a baby swing in her nursery...click click click...so did DB maybe have her in the swing with a bottle and forgot about her?

Or was Debbie passed out and one of the boys went to Lisa with a bottle?

Not sure if you saw this I posted in another thread. From a Dean Koontz book and a guy who has told a lie to these people and they are starting to pin him down.

.
I see more red flags swirling around the Mother than at a Chief's game.

In my opinion, we are talking about someone that has a problem with the Truth, period.

I sort of considered the click click click was from a child proof bottle... a cold remedy. Maybe nyquil to hush a fussy baby for this "adult time". I worked ER for a decade.. so-called "parents" actually do this.

This is still my number one theory, too. She has made sure that everyone knows Lisa had a cold/cough, yet she has not pleaded to the alleged kidnapper to please take care of her cough, etc.

Seriously. If I had "between 5 and 10" I would be puking my guts out. It seems to me that she has a pretty good tolerance built up if she can sit home and knock back that much wine on a monday night.

That's what Nancy Grace called it. I am still chuckling at her terminology.

Yessirree - DB ran a media marathon telling the story of her alleged wine bender.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I don't believe she was *drunk*. I believe it's a fabricated excuse to justify her timeline gaps and her inconsistencies.

MOO

THANK YOU!!!!
She talked to NBC, ABC, Fox, claiming she was drunk. To me that said, whoops, can't question me any more. can't hold me to my lies.

Dr. Drew said something about the neighbor's husband was out that nightas well and was not allowed back at the house? Acrimony? Did someone catch that?

Off topic but which book Dr. F? TIA, it looks like the one where my favorite quote comes from:

A nice glass or 2 of wine is ok. Saying one is drunk the night their baby goes 'missing' after drinking a box of wine is for me ridiculous and pure neglegent.

Who parties on Monday nights anyway? Usually not parents with children.

I just don't think parents of children should drink to get drunk when they are the ones who should be watching the children. :banghead:
