:eek::eek::eek::eek:

OMG. I have been asking, since I first heard about her drinking buddy neighbor, about if the neighbor had a boyfriend or husband or roommate.

There is a very likely scenario that keeps popping in my head. Drinking buddy is buzzed, but not smashed drunk like DB. So neighbor takes her 4 yr old home, but is worried and bothered a bit about DB being so drunk and in charge of 3 kids, especially a sick infant.

So neighbor goes home and complains to room mate / husband about the situation. Did that give the husband the idea to come and teach DB a lesson?
Did something go terribly wrong?

But now that I hear that POSSIBLY the husband was out that night, and drunk as well, and possibly fighting with wife, this scenario seems even more likely. imoo he knows that DB is passed out drunk because his wife said so. Makes him feel righteous and justified in coming over and wreaking havoc of some kind maybe.

You could well be correct about the neighbor, katydid. But in her interviews, DB had a very casual attitude about having her "grownup time' at least a couple of evenings a week. The neighbor drank outside with her that night until 10:30 when her own 4-year-old did whatever inside. That makes me think that the neighbor shared DB's attitude about the drinking and wouldn't have concerned about DB or the 3 children when she went back to her house. Of course, she could have mentioned it to someone, but I don't think it would have been out of concern.

There is only one confirmed dumpster fire, but someone could have attempted to start a fire that wouldn't burn and then moved on to a dumpster.

Hmmm there was one by a casino and one by an apartment as reported in the other thread. I didnt see confirmation of the casino, so maybe you are correct.

I dont know, I just think that nothing was burnt at the house. Bomb and arson also has the dogs and cams and all of the other things they have been using all day. I guess they could be looking for something to do with fire.. but it hasnt even been confirmed that the dumpster fire had anything to do with it. I can tell you that a burnt body smells and the smell doesnt go away quickly. It honestly would have been noticed on the initial call. I suppose they could be looking for the same accelerant that was used in the dumpster fire.. maybe on clothing or still in its container... but wouldnt that have been removed in all of the hours that B&A has been at the house today with the rest of the evidence? WHo knows.
I dont know much, but they definitely know something..

****SPECULATION ALERT*****

I THINK LE wan'ts those cell phones VERY VERY BADLY. IF they are x-raying the walls - well that's the logical assumption of what they are looking for. Also, dad being an electrician - knows all about "holes in walls and wires and what goes where inside a house".

Also, on why LE just won't let that house and backyard go. Again, I THINK they have gotten pings from those phones - whether or not they still are, they were at first and all the pings are RIGHT THERE in that area. So, again, logical assumption is that those phones are somewhere on that property.

The million dollar question is WHAT'S on those phones that LE wants so very very badly?

***END of specualtion alert***

You can now resume normal posting.

They want them so badly because the story that DB told was that the phones went out with the person who took Lisa. They find them at the home and their story goes down the drain. As if it hasn't already.

I hope the family didn't have anything to do with Baby Lisa's disappearance...but at the same time, I hope LE has found at least a clue that can possibly help them figure out what happened to her. I hate to think that all of LE's hard work is in vain (although obviously if it helps bring Baby Lisa home in the end then it's all worth it!). I can't for the life of me understand what possesses someone to snatch a baby from their home, and even worse I can't imagine a family member harming their baby. I wish someone would just please tell us where she is!

I know police may not have a lot of evidence / tips to go on, but I can't imagine them calling in all of these resources and people for no reason.

Perhaps they are x-raying portions of the house so they don't tear it up beyond what is necessary?

Actually there are 2 confirmed dumpster fires..one not far from Lisa's house and one down at casino on the river...LE checked both

Yes...I agree that they know a whole lot more than what any of us do...that's for sure.

Assuming a non-family member started the dumpster fire, why wouldn't the person(s) who started the fire confess? Undoubtedly, they would not be charged with anything. Of course, the fire could have been spontaneous - guess we don't know.

If DB was drunk, woke to find L deceased, she had very little time to decide where to take L (and the phones). Obviously, with all the searches, there is nothing around the house. Is this woman really that clever?

No vehicle. No evidence of a shovel. She didn't have enough time to hide a body in the house and cover her steps. So, now what? I opt for the river - not much else left, unless, of course, L was truly abducted by an intruder.

Re: the neighbor and acrimony between her had her husband. This reminds me of the odd staement JI made to JJP about names they gave to Le, he said men who have cheated on their wives. I thought that was an odd thing to say then, but perhaps there is a connection?

I don't think they were looking for anything at the home that had been burned, and I don't think the baby was ever put into a fire. I think they might be looking for a tie between the accelerant used in the dumpster fire and some thing at the home. Or maybe they are just using their hi-tech x-ray equipment to peek into all of the hidden areas in the house and the walls and the attic and the floorboards looking for the cell phones or their batteries or sim cards etc.

RSBM

I had posted the same question myself earlier!!! After reading some other posts I realized that it isn't what's ON the phones (because they can get all that from the service provider anyway) but the fact that if they actually FIND the phones in the wall, or in the laundry detergent box, or under a mattress, or whatever....that is a reaaaallllyyy good indication that a kidnapper didn't "take the phones" and probably didn't take LISA either.

To smooth operator- this is exactly why I joined this group. You said exactly what I have been trying to say. deb also never said that she blacked out, she was asked if it was possible, and she said yeah, it is possible. Now, because of crafty journalists we are made to believe that she said "I blacked out" she also never said "no, I didn't check on her at 10:30" what she said is that she usually checks on the boys 1st and then on Lisa before she goes to bed. But she wasn't sure if she did. When pressed, she said that probably she didn't. I will be on the hunt for those links for anyone that does not believe that.

Not saying they have a picture perfect family, but they have a family where two parents are present, and those children did not appear neglected. In fact, read through different threads where there are people that live in the area and say that the kids were outside a lot and looked the same way, happy. By the way, a few mention mom or dad outside with them.

I agree...I said the same thing earlier in either this thread or another one. And I have no doubt in my mind that what they are looking for is the cell phones. They are the biggest key in this case.

Do you have a link about this 2nd dumpster fire being involved in this case? I'd like to read it if you do.

Someone who posts here, but I cannot remember the name, works in security at the building that used to be a casino. They posted ,upthread, that there was a dumpster fire early that evening there, and that the building is right alongside the river, with easy access for someone to dump something there.

I wonder if it can be found by the tag keyword system?

I agree. There is nothing out there. No chairs, nothing. I'm glad to hear that LE has confiscated the hard drive. I'm guessing computer room is where most of the adult time was taking place.

I agree, LancelotLink. There's not enough space on the doorstep to sit comfortably for hours. It could be done, of course, but DB wanted to relax and her desires seem to be paramount. I think she would have wanted her 'me' time in comfort. So the computer room seems like a much more likely venue.

I think DB said they were drinking on the front porch because that would place her outside the house. Therefore, she couldn't have been aware an intruder was entering through the computer room window on the other side of the house.

I think if DB and her friend spent the evening drinking on the front step, they would have been seen or heard by others. We live in the woods and I can hear when neighbors several hundred yards away are talking quietly around a campfire in the evening.
