To smooth operator- this is exactly why I joined this group. You said exactly what I have been trying to say. deb also never said that she blacked out, she was asked if it was possible, and she said yeah, it is possible. Now, because of crafty journalists we are made to believe that she said "I blacked out" she also never said "no, I didn't check on her at 10:30" what she said is that she usually checks on the boys 1st and then on Lisa before she goes to bed. But she wasn't sure if she did. When pressed, she said that probably she didn't. I will be on the hunt for those links for anyone that does not believe that.

Not saying they have a picture perfect family, but they have a family where two parents are present, and those children did not appear neglected. In fact, read through different threads where there are people that live in the area and say that the kids were outside a lot and looked the same way, happy. By the way, a few mention mom or dad outside with them.

Whether they appeared neglected or not, one of the children is now missing. And the mother doesn't even seem to remember when exactly she saw the child before the child went missing (was it 6:40 or 10:30-big difference in term of timeline for LE to work with). Doesn't remember if she locked the door. Says she was drunk the night the child went missing.

Someone who posts here, but I cannot remember the name, works in security at the building that used to be a casino. They posted ,upthread, that there was a dumpster fire early that evening there, and that the building is right alongside the river, with easy access for someone to dump something there.

I wonder if it can be found by the tag keyword system?

Yeah...I'd like to see the link though since anyone can say anything here unless it's backed up with a link. I understand that you don't have it. Just curious is all...:)

You could well be correct about the neighbor, katydid. But in her interviews, DB had a very casual attitude about having her "grownup time' at least a couple of evenings a week. The neighbor drank outside with her that night until 10:30 when her own 4-year-old did whatever inside. That makes me think that the neighbor shared DB's attitude about the drinking and wouldn't have concerned about DB or the 3 children when she went back to her house. Of course, she could have mentioned it to someone, but I don't think it would have been out of concern.

BBM. I have been contemplating this for some time: If DB and the neighbor were sitting on the porch steps outside while drinking and smoking, there must have been neighbors or passersby that saw - or heard - them. People who are drinking alcohol tend to become loud without realizing it, so it's hard for me to believe that no one in the neighborhood was aware of these two women sitting outdoors drinking and smoking - with the children indoors the entire time. jmo

I hope the family didn't have anything to do with Baby Lisa's disappearance...but at the same time, I hope LE has found at least a clue that can possibly help them figure out what happened to her. I hate to think that all of LE's hard work is in vain (although obviously if it helps bring Baby Lisa home in the end then it's all worth it!). I can't for the life of me understand what possesses someone to snatch a baby from their home, and even worse I can't imagine a family member harming their baby. I wish someone would just please tell us where she is!

I know police may not have a lot of evidence / tips to go on, but I can't imagine them calling in all of these resources and people for no reason.

I know that you did not mean what you said "for no reason" in the way it sounded. But there is a very specific reason...an 11 month old baby Lisa with not a lot to go on.

This is all I could find..

Yeah...that is about the only dumpster fire that we have discussed here as being a part of this case. The other one they are talking about is not even confirmed and was "a couple of days later."

And then, reading further, it was said that a cleaning person threw a cigarette in and started a fire. Not related to this case.

Ahh. I see. There was a second fire at an apartment building that was discussed as well. In one of the 3 search warrant threads, there was another fire discussed.

Why the problem? I never claimed the baby was burnt in a dumpster. Just the opposite.

Maybe she only smoked outside when the kids were up, then smoked in the computer room with the window open..?

You are truly missing the point. The point was to stay tuned in to what is actually said and by whom. We are not being as mislead by Deb as we are by the media. Why is it in criminal cases people tend to believe why they hear from the media, but in political issues, it's all about the money and agenda?
The media is the same no matter what!

I know that you don't want to disparage the mother, nor do I, but after watching DB in many segmented interviews, there are some personality characteristics that are easily discernable. DB is extremely immature. She craves attention and is totally self-absorbed. This entire "missing Baby Lisa" scenario has become about Deborah who doesn't even mention her daughter when she's interviewed. I will grant the possibility that this is the way that editors are choosing to portray Ms. Bradley, but I am getting a sense that DB cares more about the possible outcome of this saga for herself than that of her child. jmo

Histrionic personality disorder is a condition in which people act in a very emotional and dramatic way that draws attention to themselves.

How may pleas with specifics, i.e she loves baths, needs to have her blankie have we heard from mom. Pretty sure most would offer details. That's where I turn the corner and have a hard time believing mom...but what about dad, what do we really KNOW. :banghead:

Not a problem at all. And I never said that you had claimed anything. I was simply asking about the 2nd dumpster fire because I hadn't heard about it before and asked for a link since I thought I'd missed it.

Dad DID ask for the baby to be at least taken to a fire station, dropped off and no questions asked. He seems to be upset, clueless, and seems to be genuinely heartbroken in the little Ive seen. Last few days Ive been either in the hosp or hurting too much to watch TV.. broken ribs.. so I havent seen anything very recent concerning him.

Since we need links :

"Lisa's father urged who ever has Lisa to drop her off at a fire station or a hospital and said that no questions would be asked."

Here is the timeline that Shelby1 made for us - maybe it will help some of the new people here.

I've been studying all day so I've been trying to catch up. I just heard CNN say that that LE found something at the search today??? They said we would hear from the family... next (of course, a teaser.)

Im aware the other fire was post initial LE involvement. It was also discussed that evidence was burned post interview and previous to the search warrant for the home.

I FOUND IT!!!!

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting but I've been following since day one. I live about 5 minutes from Lisa's house, and I work about 5 minutes away on the other side.

I work security for a rather large healthcare tech company in KC. We have several buildings around the city. One of them is an old casino right on the river, also right next to where they had the police post the first few days. On Monday before Lisa was reported missing, we also had a dumpster fire that was found around 8pm at this building. The only one still there was a cleaner. I dispatched my officers down there and the fire department came and put out the fire. We narrowed it down to the cleaner going out for a smoke which she does all the time, and tossing her cigarette into the dumpster. It's been really dry here. And there were cans of sterno fuel in the dumpster from catering. I didn't think much of it until the next day when detectives showed up to talk with my officer that is posted at that building during the day, although he was not there for the fire. The detectives then returned the next day.

I only bring this up because there is direct river access from behind our building. Other spots would make it difficult to reach the river in that area, which again is accessible by both major streets that surround the Irwin house, Brighton and Chouteau (also the same street as Festival Foods where the wine was purchased and where the diapers were found in the abandoned house).

I don't think our fire had anything to do with case, but I just wanted to say that the river is very close and you can drive or walk to the edge.

Yep...we figured that out...sorry you had to search for so long. I hadn't even seen that and, while interesting, it didn't have anything to do with this case. I was hoping that it might be something of significance. I sure hope they do find something tonight!

Nevermind, they didn't say anything new. :banghead:
