Live MSM coverage on Baby Lisa 19 October 2011

after all, they DID get a search warrant which means probable cause exists which actually doesn't mean much in reality as of course they could get one, a crime occurred there under any explanation of what actually happened. But it SOUNDS bad to have police get a search warrant for your clients hosue when their child is missing. And it sounds bad because it is bad as normally it would all be a consenual search. But here LE wanted to get a search warrant. At frst glance that says to me there is concern about evidence found being challenged by the only people with standing to challenge it, the parents. But, to be fair, it could be some other LE technique to pressure them but, realistically, given the level of activity going on at the house there's no "posing" invovled. It seems LE are there for serious reasons.

I wasn't able to listen to the interview myself, so I'm only guessing. He had made a previous statement to the media today that LE was free to search the house at any time, he wasn't sure why they had gotten a warrant. I'm wondering if his statement about not needing probable cause wasn't meant to talk about the requirements for a search warrant, but instead supposed to refer to the fact that the family would give permission for LE to search, and thus no warrant was needed.

It seems odd for an experienced attorney (or any attorney!!) to say that probable cause is not needed for a search warrant, so I'm thinking there must be some sort of context to his statement that we missed.

To smooth operator- this is exactly why I joined this group. You said exactly what I have been trying to say. deb also never said that she blacked out, she was asked if it was possible, and she said yeah, it is possible. Now, because of crafty journalists we are made to believe that she said "I blacked out" she also never said "no, I didn't check on her at 10:30" what she said is that she usually checks on the boys 1st and then on Lisa before she goes to bed. But she wasn't sure if she did. When pressed, she said that probably she didn't. I will be on the hunt for those links for anyone that does not believe that.

Not saying they have a picture perfect family, but they have a family where two parents are present, and those children did not appear neglected. In fact, read through different threads where there are people that live in the area and say that the kids were outside a lot and looked the same way, happy. By the way, a few mention mom or dad outside with them.

You make some great points but DB's own words lead to speculation. She completely dismisses the idea that her drinking is involved in Lisa's vanishing. I don't know how much wine she drank, but she didn't deny a blackout. And I don't think a two-parent family guarantees anything. I do agree that Lisa looked happy but pictures, as we've learned, don't always tell the full story.....

Here's one thing, for me, that got a "weedle bit clearer" tonight.

I've wanted to know which neighbor was the drinking buddy. Seems tonight one of the reporters was talking about "the neighbor" and he motioned next door - the house to the left when you are standing in front of the Irwin house - facing it. The house on the driveway side. And he said that "the neighbor" lived "just next door".

Ok.

DB said she turned the lights off because "the neighbor" told her she did - "the neighbor" saw the house "go dark" after she went home.

FOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The neighbor's house is on the opposite side of the "computer room" with the tampered screen and window. NO WAY could she have seen any lights on in that room - nope.

And again, concerning the neighbor that I'm waiting to hear. Was this the same neighbor that had the teen that LE took DNA from? Now, in NO WAY, am I talking about sleuthing this "teen". I just want to know how many different neighbor's houses are we talking about? And, the teen is the only person that LE has collected DNA from (well outside of JI and DB - but they're the parents) - si, I kinda think its important.

As for theories, I'm still leaning to Lisa falling out of the crib and breaking her neck - laying there until daddy comes home and either he or mom or both find her - way too late to call 911 then (or at least that's what they think - esp cause mom's drunk). But I still waiver back and forth with a lot of things......that's not hard in this case.
Ok, not saying this is the way it is up there but living in the same subdivision I can tell if my next door neighbors lights are on or off from my house because they reflect off of the concrete patio. Not because I can see their actual lights. I don't know if this is the case up there or not, but JI's house has the large concrete patio out front for this to be possible.

I hope to God the LE had the foresight to stop the garbage collection that morning.

Me too! I'm still excited that they got the mop outside of the house that appeared to be drying... I kept thinking they didn't see it!

Histrionic personality disorder is a condition in which people act in a very emotional and dramatic way that draws attention to themselves.

How may pleas with specifics, i.e she loves baths, needs to have her blankie have we heard from mom. Pretty sure most would offer details. That's where I turn the corner and have a hard time believing mom...but what about dad, what do we really KNOW. :banghead:

Out of all the interviews I have seen I don't see Deb having those symptoms on the link you added. I think its hard for anyone to try to analyse someones personality by just watching their actions, looks, etc during a very, very traumatic time in their lives as this is. JMO.

Welcome new people! :welcome3: :bananalama: :yourock: :welcome4: :welcome2:

I personally don't think that they have been searching for a live baby from after the first day.

Also, just FYI since I don't see a MOD in here right now, we are not allowed to post links here that are not MSM (mainstream media). I see that you are new so thought I would let you know.

I actually read the TOS too. LOL!
I can edit it.. couldnt find that in any MSM source though. :) I was wondering if it was correct.

I believe they were looking for both live or deceased, otherwise they wouldnt have chased down the sightings leads. Now its obviously only a body hunt.

You probably couldn't find a MSM source because it wasn't factual..:)

It just has seemed to me that they don't believe in the intruder theory. But, I do know that they have also followed up leads all over of sightings, etc. So, I guess make your own assumption on that. :)

LMAO!! Either Im muddled from meds or you snuck in and took my meds.. I have NO idea what that meant! HAHA! :floorlaugh:
she is saying she watched NG tonight and NG showed some pictures. Member said saw more than a couple pictures but less than a few pictures-she didn't count how many pictures she saw.

JI appears to be a rather nebulous figure in all of this. Assuming that Lisa is really his biological child, Jeremy seems detached and distant from the beautiful little girl. That said, DB comes across as a very head-strong, controlling sort of woman who has let JI know that SHE is in charge of OUR family (completed with baby Lisa) and that MY boys love their sister. My comment paraphrases one of DB's interviews (please don't ask me to recall exactly which one!), and I couldn't help thinking that she is a bu**y: DB and JI are not married. This is not "their" family, nor are both male children "her boys."

I apologize for my negative feelings about Ms. Bradley, but I cannot engender sympathy for the mother of a "missing" baby who behaves like DB. jmo

That's the beauty of WS, we all have a say. I agree its a traumatic time and I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to the parents; but given the interviews I've seen and the story/timemline changes from DB's own lips, I can't help but to have questions. Really, there is only one truth......JMO

Pretty much the same scenario I come up with, WOO. Not sure it was a broken neck...could have been accidentally smothered somehow...but Dad came home, found the situation, and by then...too late. HAVE to cover it up.

Keep in mind also that if Debbie was smashed and stopped drinking sometime close to when the neighbor left, she would have sobered up quite a bit by the time JI came home to the mess.

As to your other points...I've considered every one of them as well. :)

I honestly don't think that JI seems detached from Lisa just on seeing him in the few interviews he has. He looks completely shell-shocked to me and probably is medicated, as many parents are in cases like this. I do agree with you on DB though...she seems somewhat of a narcissist.

Since garbage pick-up day was Tuesday Morning, did the phones manage to get thrown in the garbage?
Trash pick up here is Friday mornings. They intercepted the truck at the landfill and had it dumped for them to go through. This is the first time the media was aware of a dumpsite search. LE later said this was at least the second or maybe the 3rd I can't remember which.

Yet another person who believes as I do, that the media, only tells you what they want you to believe.. and many times not the truth. I edited it.. but left the un-linked quote. It wasnt always like this, but these days everything seems to be tried in the media.. and badly!

Like I said, I do believe they did both a live and deceased initially with the leads.. but now it seems pretty well focused on a body/evidence of a death. I cant imagine them using that many resources and that much time today especially if they hadnt had probably cause and obtaining the warrant bears that out. In my town it has to be on a silver platter for them to investigate, unfortunately. Im really impressed with the investigation and resources that are being used.

I imagine the cells are one of the main things they are hungry for. They were looking in gutters earlier today.. I can only guess that they were thinking a cell was tossed or hidden?

Ok This has been bother me...The teen that was interviewed:

Agreed! I think that LE is doing a wonderful job and I have no doubt that today/tonight is a different animal than we have seen in the searches before. I could be jumping the gun, but I don't think I am. I think there will be an arrest in a couple of days, if not sooner.

I don't understand why that would be bothersome? Sorry for the density...but its been a long day. What is troublesome about that?
