Cheers! Well done! :)

It's so cool for me to see WSers helping to guide the media like this. A lot of times I feel like we don't like what we get from the media, but there's not much we can do to change it...so this is really neat!

True what one can say about not getting or don't like what we get from media however it feels great when people put effort to stand up, speak out and what change happen

I don't understand why that would be bothersome? Sorry for the density...but its been a long day. What is troublesome about that?

I'm not sure I would want media on my yard after being questioned, DNA taken ect. I would cooperate with the police but media in my yard when the police obviously did not want media there just don't sit right with me.

Agreed! I think that LE is doing a wonderful job and I have no doubt that today/tonight is a different animal than we have seen in the searches before. I could be jumping the gun, but I don't think I am. I think there will be an arrest in a couple of days, if not sooner.

Agree.. and now would be a perfect time for a nice late night and no high priced atty interrogation. Someone is freaking out right about now and probably pretty stressed and vulnerable. I hope youre correct... and I hope its sooner than later, regardless of who it is.

Ive visited WS for a long time on and off but with no real regularity. Mainly for a larger case in which I relied on the insight and info from the folks here, but only registered today due to this case. Its always the eternally cold cases of missing and never found children that bother me the most. Id like to see closure in this.I would bet you that these cops and investigators need it as well... not to mention the extended family and the father of the baby who I personally feel is innocent.

I must be tired too. I couldn't even figure out what I was supposed to be looking at. :waitasec:

Been a lonnnng day.

I agree, LancelotLink. There's not enough space on the doorstep to sit comfortably for hours. It could be done, of course, but DB wanted to relax and her desires seem to be paramount. I think she would have wanted her 'me' time in comfort. So the computer room seems like a much more likely venue.

I think DB said they were drinking on the front porch because that would place her outside the house. Therefore, she couldn't have been aware an intruder was entering through the computer room window on the other side of the house.

I think if DB and her friend spent the evening drinking on the front step, they would have been seen or heard by others. We live in the woods and I can hear when neighbors several hundred yards away are talking quietly around a campfire in the evening.
They sit on the front porch a lot. We would see them out there almost every time we went by in the evening. Nothing new to this night at all. The computer room window is in full view right off of the porch on the front of the house, not on the other side of the house.

Dad DID ask for the baby to be at least taken to a fire station, dropped off and no questions asked. He seems to be upset, clueless, and seems to be genuinely heartbroken in the little Ive seen. Last few days Ive been either in the hosp or hurting too much to watch TV.. broken ribs.. so I havent seen anything very recent concerning him.

Since we need links :

"Lisa's father urged who ever has Lisa to drop her off at a fire station or a hospital and said that no questions would be asked."

I think I missed that so thank you. I don't have a good read on Jeremy and after reading this:http://foxnewsinsider.com/tag/jeremy-irwin/... After telling America Live anchor Megyn Kelly over the weekend that they had no need for an attorney, the parents of Baby Lisa lawyered up early this week, hiring high-profile attorney Joe Tacopina." I guess I am confused.

Oh, I see what you are saying. I am sure that there are several neighbors that don't want people stomping all over their yards.

Well, welcome to Websleuths! I have been here almost a year myself, but I don't post that often except for cases that I am really interested in. I lived in Kansas City 3 years ago and worked for LE there, so of course, it would be of interest to me.

I hope to God the LE had the foresight to stop the garbage collection that morning.

IIRC, one of the neighbors mentioned it getting checked in an interview more toward the beginning.

ETA- I see In da Middle already replied. I really should learn to read everything first and then post. If that were possible.

I think only ONE parent felt the need for an atty, and a free hired gun would do nicely. I think only one makes the decisions in that couple.. and its not the boyfriend/fiance/babydaddy. JMO.. its late, I hurt, and Im grumpy. :P

JI appears to be a rather nebulous figure in all of this. Assuming that Lisa is really his biological child, Jeremy seems detached and distant from the beautiful little girl. That said, DB comes across as a very head-strong, controlling sort of woman who has let JI know that SHE is in charge of OUR family (completed with baby Lisa) and that MY boys love their sister. My comment paraphrases one of DB's interviews (please don't ask me to recall exactly which one!), and I couldn't help thinking that she is a bu**y: DB and JI are not married. This is not "their" family, nor are both male children "her boys."

I apologize for my negative feelings about Ms. Bradley, but I cannot engender sympathy for the mother of a "missing" baby who behaves like DB. jmo

JI could be holding it all together for the sake of both of those boys. Now is not the time to rock their world with more emotion in the homefront. DB comes across as a powder keg.

JMO

Thanks you guys n gals! See you in the minyata! :offtobed:

..sitting out on the step , drinking "more than 5 but less than 10" glasses of wine-----clearly she would have had to go INTO the house to perhaps use the bathroom occasionally??-----refill the wine glasses ??

..her 1st time in----she would not yet have been "drunk" ( as she couldn't wait to tell the world ) ----why not check on lisa that time?? since she says she put her down "fussy"---and an hour and 1/2 before her 'normal' bedtime..

..2nd time in-----still no checking on lisa .....why not?? she wasn't --'maybe i blacked out' drunk-----then either.

..about the only thing i DO believe of her story is that she opened the computer room window------b/c it was too cold sitting on that step, and they moved in there to drink----and smoke ( while the neighbours 4 year old and the boys watched "some fairy tale movie" in the boys bedroom).

Ahh then you know what I meant about the cops and closure. My ex ( loooong ago) was LE.. cases grind on you and get to you sometimes more than the family.. for certain reasons. Something like this is particularly hard.. when hope turns to seeing to justice being done. Anyway, enough of that. :)

Has KC always investigated so vigorously? Here we have to call in the MCS out of St Louis and it has to be a darned lindbergh baby situation for them to call.

BBM

Pretty much the same scenario I come up with, WOO. Not sure it was a broken neck...could have been accidentally smothered somehow...but Dad came home, found the situation, and by then...too late. HAVE to cover it up.

Keep in mind also that if Debbie was smashed and stopped drinking sometime close to when the neighbor left, she would have sobered up quite a bit by the time JI came home to the mess.

As to your other points...I've considered every one of them as well. :)

Would LE have the pings of JI's work cell? Those should show when he arrived home compared to when he called 911.
