I think the haircut and color is at the suggestion of an overly zealous defense team who are spending other people's money like it's going out of style. They've got people reading blogs and comments, the they are pulling DB's strings to make it seem like she aligns with what the public "expect" of her-- but it's making her appear self centered and insensitive. I'm no advocate of DB et al., but I do recognize this type of meddling. Lisa is a mere afterthought-- even her picture is propaganda.

The Bradly/Irwin's may live to regret having this aggressive team signed up so dang early on...

JMO

Then why wouldn't they (whomever they is) take her out of those grey clothes? Grey sweaters, grey sweatshirts, grey t-shirts.

MOO

I know one thing for sure now. The guy in the black shirt is sinister. No doubt in my mind. Sort of in your face.
That is DB's father. I went and told my husband about him wearing that shirt to the vigil and I can't repeat here what he said, lets just say he could not believe he would do something like that.
:waitasec:Is that some sort of a clothing brand, or a rock band or something?

Desiree had a pretty nice makeover not long after Kyron went missing, when she was going to be appearing on national TV, etc...there were some comments at the time, but for the most part, people just commented on how great she looked...just saying...

BBM

Desiree was never ever suspected in Kyron's disappearance. She was a couple hundred miles away on the morning of his disappearance.

She did not have a "makeover". The difference in her appearance went from little makeup and letting her hair dry with no styling to her more normal makeup and using a hot iron on her hair which was her normal hairstyle.

Do you mean 750 milliliter (standard wine bottle size)? Cuz 750 liters is a heckuva lotta wine - especially if you're halfway through it lol!

Lol, if you stand up, you might find that you're dizzier than you thought!

They have, on the HR & D thread. Again, AI is big on opening her mouth and thinking later (IMO) so I would not take anything she has to say as gospel. She is not a SAR expert. She is defending her family members but her proclamations sometimes hurt their position rather than help it. Nuff said on this topic by me or I will get myself into trouble as my opinion of how this case has gone horribly awry is largely placed at her feet.

You did a good job tlcox!

I noticed the hair, too, but really. She is darned if she does and darned if she doesn't. I really don't think her hair has any bearing on her guilt or innocence. She probably got a look at some of the critical things that are being said about her all over the internet and felt like she needed to do something. Or her attorney's advised her to fix her hair. Not really relevant to the situation.

I can't bold or snip on my phone but if she cut and colored her hair on her attorney's advice, she needs to fire them NOW! It may have nothing to do with the disappearance but combined with the fact that she isn't seen out hanging fliers or pleading with local media to help her get a message to the kidnapper it comes across to me as her just having better, more selfish things to do.

Yes it is Milliliter LOL. Just a little giggly now, but no buzz, no wooziness. Maybe the stuff they bought is stouter or something but you'd think someone who doesn't drink would be totally wasted with half a bottle gone down the hatch. I'm in full control.

How nice that she was able to squeeze in a little 'adult time' at the hairdresser's.........

Hairdresser instead of searching or pleading for her baby who's been missing 1 day shy of 3 weeks. :banghead:

LOL, I'm trying to figure out how much wine it woudl take to knock DI off into a "black out". I'm no where near even DRUNK and I'm not even a drinker, haven't touched anything strong in my life. Looking on this bottle it says Sulfites so I guess my head will split tomorrow

Quit cheating on this experiment! You're supposed to be outside sitting on the stoop! :slap:

Tim Miller is the founder of Texas based Equusearch, which is a non-profit organization that helps families (free) find missing children

I should have expounded on my answer more. I am very familiar with Tim Miller and his organization. Because he got so ripped off by the Casey Anthony fiasco, money would be a definite concern. I would think that will the hundreds of missing persons cases today that he would have to make some really tough choices as to where he used his resources since even though they are non-profit, they don't have an endless amount of money.

What gets me is what are they (defense team) thinking? Instead of a "cut & color" whether at home or in a beauty shop - why not, oh let's say, GO TO EACH AND EVERY BEAUTY SHOP AROUND AND TALK TO THE PEOPLE - POST A FLYER - GET LISA'S NAME AND FACE OUT THERE AND KEEP IT THERE? Now, to me, and if it was me and my attny suggested I get a "cut and color" - I would turn around and say "no, why don't we do (the above)".

Just mind boggling how some people think the public will percieve something.

Well said!!!

what are the chances if the baby was dumped in the river that her little body will ever be found? where is the dam located from where the home is? can they dredge it or shut off the dam to slow it down ? I have a bad feeling about that river and always have from day one! Now that I know the name and see the recent flooding and the history of other bodies, well ask yourself this: if you wanted to hide someone or something and you were in that area, where would you put it?
