It's just in poor taste on the house where a child could be dead. IMOO
I am sure they meant nothing by it, but it still is not right. MOO

I could not agree more. I does not look right, UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES at all. Nope. :twocents: :cow: :waitasec:
And, any theories why they would use the word "kidnapped" instead of "missing" or "abducted?"
I'm from the south and we aren't either - although I have to say our general tendency is to drink from inappropriate glassware such as mason jars and dixie cups. I guess you midwesterners are just classier than we are! :floorlaugh:
Which sounds worse...
My daughter was kidnapped...
My daugher is missing....
My daugher was abducted....
When I think of "abducted" ... I think family abduction... child is with family
My daugher is missing.... IMO....missing is a weak word for the action that happened...
The words ....My daughter was "kidnapped" makes me think... stranger... omg panick sets in... fear....don't know who has my child.. don;t know if my child has been murdered or not.... ect ect..
If my child were missing, I think I would use the word kidnapped ... personally, I think it is a more powerful word for the situation....IF the situation is a true kidnapping...
DB and JI are holding hands and they both have the free hand in their pocket.
Some of the posts on this thread are so disheartening.
Comments about:
- Wine glasses on the counter
- A wine box on the stove
- Deborah Bradley's father's t-shirt
- Deborah Bradley's hair cut and color.
None of those things matter. There's a lot of judging in this thread and I can't for the life of me see how it relates to Lisa.
Ladies if you use straws, your hands are free to type...............
I can only surmise it is for the other children to keep up a sense of normalcy and spirit for them? i would suggest pumpkins, cartoon charatures for this year though all things considered...
I've been to weddings, funerals and other events in the KCMO/KCK all the way down to Joplin, MO area where t-shirts, jeans and casual was the attire.
Got a knife and sliced through the cork. 3/4 of the bottle is gone now, fill a bit of a buzz but honestly nothing that I couldn't fully function if called upon. I could drive without any slow response, I'm not stumbling at all or falling onto anything. I'd think that "honking" box of wine that Deborah bought couldn't possibly be more than 2 of these bottles??? So if she and neighbor split them, if it's true as she says, she is a drinker then of course her tolerance would be much higher and she'd be able to drink even more wine. I just can't see a black out from the wine consumption unless she added something else to the wine.
Yes, it's right in back of the parents at the vigil. It's simply a halloween decoration, with the grim reaper, a couple of tombstones, and a ghost.

Well, it is Halloween.
