I'm still thinking that the drinking till she's stoned is her defense since seeing the video of herself buying the wine..it actually is helping her because now she can't recall anything:maddening:

I still think that she's fibbing about being drunk. :waitasec:

I missed that tonight but it's odd because MK mentioned vodka, too, in her interview and I wondered why. Very interesting!

Here's why the mention of vodka keeps coming up.

Because closet alcoholics drink vodka, most people can't smell it on a person's breath. People who are drunk all the time all day long drink vodka if they're trying to lead a normal life undetected.

It's a valid question.

She's said no. At least twice.

I heard it as well and said, "There;s the vodka again!!" If I didn't know better, I'd say someone on the Fox team has been looking at someone's FB photo account...cough cough....

I followed the case closely. Considered an easy case---as in conviction. He should have gone down. Plenty of evidence against him. CSI effect. Much like I expect to see here IF Mom is arrested.

I just went thru jury selection this week. CSI effect was the exact term the prosecutor used when questioning potential jurors. He made it appear to me that its a real problem with real cases.

Bill S: we don't know they did climb thru t window; t parents aren't experts in cat burglary

Epiph: Hahaha Is the cat gone, too, Bill?

Told ya it was the neighborhood cat. Had to be...she's the only one the german shepherd doesn't bark at. :)

My head is still spinning after that performance by JT. Fast talking, over-talking, contradictions of his own previous statements (40 hours vs 17 hours?) and manipulation of facts ~ And now I see that JT was only the appetizer; BS is making his appearance as the main entree. Mercy, I don't know if my stomach can handle this!
:shocked2:

Yep, that's a "great" attorney totally spinning the facts out of control, anything to make his client look innocent.. LE, FBI, trained dogs.......what expertise do they have? None, nope they are the bad guys here just like in a few other high profile cases we have seen. But he is just out there protecting his clients "civil rights"...........yeah, ok!!!

Mom: ...she's still alive somewhere (interview)
Body Lang Expert:...she's always taking the lead

Any one else wishing we had an option to get rid of the banners these news stations post. They block out so many things? We miss clues in many cases.

I was going to say the same thing. The few closet alchies that I have known drank straight vodka. One of our school mom's drank vodka out of a water bottle. And here I thought she was just always so prepared, with her water bottle holder on her waist and all. her kids were always clean and well behaved and her house spotless, too. I still don't know how she managed it.

Notice the dumpster fire is off limits now?? Leads me to believe that it does have something to do with it after all.

Yes. He really did seem to want far away from that dumpster fire. Which is odd because in his next breath, he says they need to follow up on the guy walking with the baby.
HELLO????!!!!
Duh, much?

Tanya, Body Lang Expert: burned clothes discussion>elicited fear-u see fear in her (eyes widening)

Mom: ....it's a possibility (the blackout), but it has nothing to do with my daughter

Body Lang Expert:...if blackout>how can she be so sure it has nothing to do w/her daughter (if she doesn't know)? It's a direct contradiction to her statement.

Yes, vodka has been mentioned before and by different people. Just a little something that I've filed away for now.

Judge J - showing clip of first time - JI talking about the police pointing fingers at DB - wasn't an issue for him, its just part of their job and doesn't really make a difference.

Body lang - he's looking at her (DB) and DB doesn't even look up at him - Bizarre.

Hasn't had a lot of time to baseline her (DB). By looking down at her, he's trying to connect with her and she's not responding.

Clip - MK asking directly did you have anything to do with LI disappearance or killer her

Body lang - DB always asnwers first and then JI follows her with the same thing. Kinda dead pan expression

Clip - DB talking about LE showing her the burnt clothes and doppler thing with pings

Body lang - what emotion can we see - sadness (eyebrows change) then she experiences fear - suddenly she become scared of something that was said - but can't be specific of what she might have been afraid of.

Clip - MK interview about failing the polygraph and the question "do I know where she's at"

Body Lang - wants to point out that DB is very consistent. She consistently looks up and to the right - going to the same area of brain to answer. Gives her the idea that she's being honest there.

Clip - Last Sunday - MK - new 6:40 bedtime and how much to drink - possiblity of a black out

Body lang - DB looked right - so trying to remember. One sided should er shrug - they don't really know the answer, the possiblity that she might have blacked out, then how could she be sure that she doesn't know what happened?

Re-showing clip - when DB say "its a possiblity that I blacked out" should er shrug and then again when DB says "it has absolutely nothing to do with my daugher" she shrugs again.

hhhmmm......................very interesting.

That's it - commercial

Interesting! So, the body language expert thinks that Mom has no idea if anything happened while she was drunk.

Um hmm. I don't now how they do it either, but people who drink vodka all day DO seem to go undetected. I think the term is a "functioning alcoholic".

Sorry about all the typos - had to listen and type at same time. Plus i just washed my hands and can't do a thing with 'em. :floorlaugh:
