In that case, wouldn't the cadaver dogs alert to a scent on the bed?

I wonder if the bedding was laundered?

However, with that said, they did take a comforter didn't they? Wonder if it was Baby Lisa's or DB's?

One would think. Le did take a "Cars" themed blanket in the SW. I, personally, don't think she rolled over on Lisa. Lisa was almost a year old - pretty big. That age - she would "fight" if she couldn't breathe - I would think she would kick and squirm and push with her hands and arms - but that's just me and my opinion.

Judge Janine was comparing the fact that they found her clothes in the search with the fact that a man was spotted carrying a baby only wearing a diaper. She thought the two facts were tied together and significant. This was on the Fox show this morning. She was talking about what would be covered in her show tonight.

That is what I was thinking too...oh my. I also thought about the interview with DB, her saying they showed her burned clothes and she "hoped" they weren't Lisa's. Maybe she knew they weren't hers. I'm just tossing scenarios around in my head-because we only know what the parents are saying and the very little LE is letting out.

I don't think it's what happened either.

But, for argument sake, I have been so sound asleep that my kids have tried to wake me and even shake me and I haven't woke up. Now imagine being in a drunken sleep you are probably even harder to wake up.

I don't think that's accurate. Her clothes weren't found. They took a pair of purple pants and a disney shirt from the home but those are not the clothes she was reportedly wearing.

So was it purple pants, or, puple shorts?
A Disney shirt could have most anything from Winnie the Pooh to Cinderella.

I don't think it happened either, that's why I was asking about the dog. I think it's just another potential defense that's been provided for her. MOO

Oh me too - once I'm asleep, you could drop an atom bomb next to the bed and I won't wake up. But then you would have to believe that she was drunk. I'm not sold on that idea just yet. I think its a convenient way out for her to say she jsut doesn't remember - rather than have to keep putting up with those pesky nosy questions. KWIM?

According to Jeremy, DB jumped right out of bed. :waitasec:

Is this MSM: http://www.sacbee.com/2011/10/22/3999454/fort-bragg-nc-case-offers-bloggers.html

In this article, there are parallels between what's going on with Lisa and a case that occurred in Fort Bragg, NC four years ago. The only reason this is relevant is that a baby disappeared. The victim's father was in the same unit as DB's then husband (82nd airbourne). Oh yeah, the mother eventually confessed to murder.

Where can I read the SW?

...and if her description is accurate, she's huge for her age. My 3 year old is 30 pounds. I don't think they gave the right numbers, though. Here's a height/weight chart. http://pediatrics.about.com/library/growth_charts/ngirlsbirth.htm

She would be 90th percentile for length and even at 26 pounds she would be off the charts. By the numbers that they gave, she should be VERY chunky in her pictures. She looks like she's about average weight for her height. Anyway, I always thought those numbers were very off IMO. MOO

DB has done everything but toss out the number "3" for public consumption. She and misty croslin are going neck n neck to the finish line.

Uh, no.

Purple shorts, yes.

Shirt with kittens on it, no.

I agree with you. I think it's very convenient that she states she was drunk. A good way to say "I don't remember" or "I don't know." A good way to stop interrogation too. Also a very good way to explain her inconsistent stories. And perhaps a way for the defense later.

Now, let's say she was drunk and blacked out. If she did snap, and potentially killed her child during a blackout, I seriously think she would remember something so tragic. I think, even if she were drunk, she knows what she did and I think that she would have sobered up in a big hurry at that point of realizing she has harmed her baby. She had to have had a sobering moment in order to plan the rest too.

IMO

Why aren't we getting a better description of the clothes?

What size were they? What brand were they? Where were they purchased and when?

Even the McCanns provided those identical pyjamas that supposedly belonged to the younger daughter (*eyeroll) when they put out the description.

MOO
