Just curious why it matters? He didn't abduct the girls at the fair.

Well obviously it matters because it gives a better opportunity to track their locations and timelines over the years.

I don't think anyone seriously thinks that the Lyon sisters would have been his one and only abduction.

No evidence of vehicle which would have been needed unless he was living in a house in the Kensington area, very close to the Mall.

Those are his known locations. It is not suggested that he never visited any other locations apart from those on the list.
