One thing about Ms. LaViolette, we'll see if she sticks to her report regarding Jodi telling her the childwas on Travis' computer. This to me will be a key piece of information. JM already asked Jodi if that is what she told Ms. LaViolette - which of course Jodi denied ever telling her that. For me, how this is addressed will give me an indication of how to view her. Right now, I can't have any opinion about her at all, I can only hope if she is true to her work, she will be professional on the stand with no agenda other than the truth.
ITA. If she tries to fudge the story on where the pictures were, I will lose any respect for her.
I read an article LaViolette wrote (that someone else posted earlier):

It's actually pretty scholarly with lots of supporting data. She admits that women can be abusers, although she tries to downplay it somewhat.
I tried to sit through her YouTube video about Snow White being a victim of domestic abuse. That talk is actually about the relationship between genders through the ages, and the evolving attitude/treament of women. Although I like history, I actually found it quite boring. I think the whole Snow White thing is just a hook to make the talk kind of "jazzy" and bring in the audience; I'm not reading too much into it.
She comes across as a whole different species than "Dr." Samuels. Like you, Raisincharlie, I'm hoping she'll be true to her profession. I don't have a problem with her discussing the reactions people have in abusive situations. If she tries to apply it to Jodi, that's where I'm going to have problems.
I mentioned this yesterday: "Dr." Samuels said on numerous occasions that as part of his "evaluation" he reviewed texts, emails, and a taped phone call between JA & TA. If all he saw was what the DT showed him, it's quite possible that he only saw what would fit the view that Travis was an abuser, not EVERY text, email, etc. On Thursday, when Wilmott showed him Travis' text messages, she very carefully cherry-picked the words and phrases she wanted to focus on. If they did the same with LaViolette, and JM points that out to her, she might have the opportunity to change her view on the stand. We can only hope. JMO
