How long do you expect the jury to deliberate the verdict and the sentence of JA?

:seeya:

For deliberations, however long it takes to check off the spot where it says :

GUILTY : PRE-MEDITATED FIRST DEGREE MURDER

And then sign it ... which should take no longer than what 5-10-15 minutes ... LOL !

:waitasec: The longest will be waiting on the judge because she is always late ...

Did JW actually read out "my wrath"??? Here's the text, and it shows "the wrath":

http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/tabularasa6/media/169_zps94314fde.jpg.html?sort=3&o=111

YES, I just heard that again this morning. I was transcribing and I wrote ' MY wrath.'

I hope Juan picked up on that. Maybe Flores caught it. I see him watching closely and taking notes. Maybe we should point it out on the TA FB Page because I think someone from his office keeps up there.

I think there is a really big difference between 'MY wrath' and 'THE wrath.'

I believe he is talking about Universal KARMA, and not anything personal that he would threaten to do. And the DT is FALSELY saying that is personal threat by Travis.

I really want the jury to pick up on that deceitful thing the Defense is doing.

Most of our knives, including an even more lethal meat cleaver, are within easy reach on a strong 18" double magnetic strip made specifically for knives (thanks Julia Child for the tip), and while we have a gun, it's not as handy, and not currently loaded--and a policeman friend strongly advises against ordinary homeowners attempting to handle guns. So I've decided if we ever have to confront an intruder I'll reach first for the pepper spray/wasp spray and then for a big boy like this.
Sunscreen (the spray kind) can also be used as a form of pepper spray.

RS testimony feedback:

Did anyone else notice that RS kept referring to his omission of some of the PTSD criteria in his report as 'typos?' Bah, that is not a typo, and for fun, compared it to wiki's definition, that states:

A typographical error (often shortened to typo) is a mistake made in the typing process (such as spelling)[2] of printed material. Historically, this referred to mistakes in manual type-setting (typography). The term includes errors due to mechanical failure or slips of the hand or finger,[2] but excludes errors of ignorance, such as spelling errors.

Oh, what about the "mathematical errors"? One after the other. You would think an educated man would be able to do basic math. The numbers are all single digit too, which is even more laughable. And notice how when he "corrects" the numbers, they always get bigger, never smaller. Funny how that works.

.

After Dark, IMHO, is nothing but a sloppily done game show, and if I was one of Travis' family or close friends, I would be appalled they are using this tasteless programming associated with his untimely death.

Entertainment and ratings is what they are about.

I just find it interesting and odd. 1980 does happen to be the year Jodi was born. And a Jodi Alexander in Mesa would be quite a coincidence if he was no family member with that name. His family is all in Cali anyway. Wonder if she used his name on some of her info, like forms or computer logins, while she lived there. Not a big thing, but speaks to her delusion!

ETA: Just realized some of what I said you said too! lol...

Actually, I can't decide whether to blame it on memory problems or my (lack of) typing skill, but I mistyped it. Jodi was born in 1980. Jodi E. Alexander's date of birth is listed as 1984. Wonder if she ever heard of George Orwell. ;)

Hey, Allyne, I don't think we're disagreeing here.

Look at it this way: there are three sets of photos.

Set 1: the photos JA took while TA was alive

Set 2: the "inadvertent" photos taken while she was dragging him, etc. (I'm assuming these would qualify as "after the murder").

Set 3: the photos taken by LE after Travis' body was found 5 days later. These are what I would consider "crime scene photos"

I think she wanted to see Set 2. That's all I'm saying.
She thought he would have said
"BRAIDS"
pigtails and braids are not the same.
She nit picks you know :floorlaugh:

JRS, it would appear that the DT has requested that all objections by discussed at the bench, they don't want "speaking objections" where it's all discussed in front of the jury. Is there some caselaw that says they can ask for this?

As I understand it, the idea is for the jury never to know about evidence that could be inadmissible. If they could hear the objection argument, they'd know what the evidence is even if the Court were to affirm the objection. jmo

My husband and I had endless arguments about what consistuted a "typo." He was a poor speller and always tried to write it off as a "typo." I suspect many people try to do the same. It wasn't that the "Dr." left material off, it was a "typo." <insert eyeroll>

The problem the defence team has is that everyone can see through Arias, so anyone speaking for her is instantly discredited because she has no redeeming qualities, there are no mitigators, and there is no justification for this crime.

Anyone who says otherwise looks like a fool or a liar, including themselves.

Have they shown the written confession? I know CMA had one...

I noticed there's been a lot of confusion between pigtails and braids. I didn't know if that was an age thing, a regional thing, or what.

She sure does nitpick. She thinks Martinez is trying to trick her with words and just can't seem to grasp what he's doing.

Great question!

However, I have chalked it up to a weak-willed and somewhat indecisive judge.

Who knows?

Perhaps she fears the lying torture-murderess.

After all, Tom Clements may have been targeted due to his position as Colorado's top prison official.

If so, some wouldn't blame her.

That makes sense.

I think Jodi must have used that name somewhere, for that to be tagged to him. My son's fiancé [ for real fiancé--not a stalker] used her first name and his last to add her car on his ins policy and they did that to combine their cell phones to save $. So now a people finder she is listed with him as a relative.

I wonder if Jodi used that name to sign up with something or make travel reservations or ?

We know she is a supreme scammer and likes hacking accounts. I'm sure there is quite a bit of theft and fraud in her past..even if she didn't get caught or arrested for it. Wouldn't surprise me at all is she was inventing new identities. I would still like to see "Victor Arias". I smell a melding of Travis Victor Alexander and Jodi Arias in that name. Just speculatin'
