Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone knows of any recent (last year or so) updates on the LISK case. Feel free to post any and all info you have - just wanted to reboot the conversation.
Thanks everyone and happy sleuthing,
IM
Anyone think its a related pair? Since remains were found in 1996 and again in 2011? Father / son.... uncle... some sort of combo that puts the younger killer "at age" in 2011 since there's such a gap?
The Golden State Killer used the phone too.
I'm sure this has been brought up, but just incase it wasn't here I rant lol.
Years back, a tattoo artist came forward as doing the tattoo for Peaches doe, he stated she was originally from New York, but had stayed in Connecticut due to issues with her boyfriend.
In the podcast, Maureens friend Sarah stated she had a call from a Connecticut number two weeks after Maureen went missing. The call was odd because he was able to describe Maureen almost perfectly, and he had lied about Maureens disappearance stating she was at ahouse when in fact she was deceased. Also let's not forget the ferry that goes from Long Island to Connecticut...
I guess I'm wondering has anyone ever addressed the connections to Connecticut? Or am I late on this train lol
Interesting theory on baby doe, and good catch on the timeline. Unfortunately I dont know the case in depth, but you may be on to somthing.1. The Namus profile of Jane Doe #6 / Manorville Jane Doe was updated in February and again in March 2020. I haven't noticed any changes to the public profile, however.
2. Does anyone know why the missing person's profile (NamUs #MP8479) for Lisa Westford is showing Baby Doe from Gilgo as an exclusion, but the exlusion is not listed on Baby Doe's profile? I don't think they're connected, but I'd like to know who else might be a Baby Doe exclusion.
3. Does anyone know for certain that Baby Doe and Peaches are mother & child? What if it's aunt & niece, siblings, or two cousins? On gilgonews.com, they say the remains are "believed to be" mother & child. They either are or are not mother and child. And on Namus, it says the remains were linked via DNA, but not how. I ask because Peaches was killed in 1997. Namus shows Baby Doe was 1-4 years old at the time of death and dead for 1 year upon discovery in 2011. (Asian male was dead for 5 years, according to notes in Namus.) If they thought Baby Doe was dead for 5, 10, or 13 years, it would say so, or it should say so.
4. Has anyone noticed the pictures on gilgonews.com? MB's crime scene pictures have a close up of the reeds in which she was found. If you zoom in to the center of the image, you'll see a beer can on the ground. Wonder if that is relevant.

I'm replying to #3 on your list. Within our cells, we have what is called Mitochondrial DNA and that DNA is an exact replica of our Mother's DNA. So when they link Baby Doe and peaches as Mother and child, there's a high probability that they are in fact mother and child.
As for the rest of it, I'm not sure. I imagine DNA evidence is very scarce in this case. After years of exposure to the elements, weather and seasonal changes...
But with regards to that crime scene photo, is the belt in that picture? I wondered if that belt had a word embossed in it and not just initials. They don't show a full picture of the belt and I wonder if that's why. Holding that back would prevent false tips from coming in.
I read somewhere someone said it looked like the Hurley logo and the Pieces symbol. I'm not sure if that means it's a copywritten font. Probably not if it looks like a pieces logo. It's easy to grasp at straw in this case.

The police released images of letters that were embossed on a belt they believe belonged to LISK. You don't see the whole belt in any photos so it's unclear if they are initials or part of a word but they show what is either "WH" or "HM".
Hello, new here and been loosely following the LISK case since last year. Some questions I have for the belt in context of the killer being a tradesmen with access to burlap sacks:
What professions include burlap and needing a belt?
Why initial a belt?
Work environment and/or company gear and/or individuals sharing personal gear/using each others personal gear?
What font matches or closely resembles that on the belt?
Due to the geometric symmetry of: )-( )v( or )-( )V( or \/\/ )-( could this suggest if the belt was initialed was it done by an individual who's attention to detail coincides
with a possible compulsive like creative aspect for unique letter structuring? If so what instruments were used to create or could possibly mimic the markings on the belt and where would one find access or availability of these?
It is stated the belt is Black but which side or both sides(in and out)?
If both sides of the belt are black was the side and area with which the initialing is found purposely worn?
If only one side is black and the other not then does the physical structure pattern of the leather resemble anything similar to a specific make of leather belt and/or material used and does that brand correlate to a field with which a tradesmen or similar occupation would utilize such a belt in indirect conjunction with burlap material?
When the belt was found was it in a functional state to be used as a belt for ones trousers/pants and/or tools or accessories in context of a tool belt in relation to such an occupation involving but not limited to burlap sacks?
If any what kind of wear marks are on the belt and could it construe that such belt was used with tools in context of tradesman and specifically would such marking indicate specific tools or identifiers of possible tools/tool brands?
Specifically where was the belt found and in what orientation in reference to other evidence at the location?
Is it possible to locate and find material embedded in the belt including but not limited to DNA, fiber material, debris, etc. that would indicate and support the assertion that the killer and/or environment the killer had the belt in or take it from was that of a tradesman?
What is the specific makeup of material of the belt including the markings found on it? Chemical compounds?
I have more questions but that is what I can think of for now off the top of my head this late at night with no coffee. Details matter. I would hope authorities can release more info including whats mentioned above about the belt and more to the extent of not endangering an ongoing case. Keep it up folks, you never know if we might play a small roll in helping crack this case.
I'm convinced Bitrolff is the Manorville butcher and that is the only connection to Lisk and the ladies found wrapped in burlap. Hopefully they can pry some information on the unknown victims from him during talks/interrogations.
So I am new to this but I’ve just been wondering...
how did all of the girls set up their dates? Is t their a way to check if there’s a common IP address that clicked on each of their pages? What are the odds that one person specifically was visited all of the girls pages?
Also, in a few instances they had been on the phone with the killer setting up the date- now I’m sure it’s a burner phone, but can’t they see where the burner phone pinged from, and based on the phone number it is where it was bought???
