"Looking for Caylee" by playing Halo 3?

  • #21
Plus...if you click on his game name in the first link, it will take you to a link for his homepage (his MySpace...about Caylee).

You guys are the absolute best- if nothing else, we now have a thread where we can know how much gaming is going on in that house, and for whatever reason, I love having that information in the midst of all this.

Okay - as a gamer I am going to say that Lee is not a freak for playing video games. Now... the 2000+ number is NOT the number of video games he's played - it is how many rounds of Halo he has played - with rounds lasting about 5 minutes. His gamer score is actually lower than mine and I don't LIVE on my xbox.

Video gaming is escapism - just as is a lot of time on the computer, or watching television, or pretty much any diversion. Some people crochet. Now there is SOMEONE on his friend list that is creeeeepy. This person has something on their bio like (I'm paraphrasing) "I'm bored in the backseat of the car kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill" or something like that. Pretty gross. But a lot of people in the gaming community are into being as strange as they can be for sure. I play with my hubby at night when the kids go to bed and there are some real winners.

Anyway, would you get on his case if they worked on puzzles? Yes we all wish they'd be out finding Caylee - but they aren't.

Oh - and do you think if they read this forum that Lee will be accepting any friend requests? Doubt it - in fact he'll probably change his gamer name - I would. If you would have done it on the down-low - maybe your hubs could have been friends with him.

Just my penny for the day.

oh - and Halo is really fun

So what is Lee's excuse for not having a job these days? Does anyone in this family actually contribute to society in any meaningful way? They seem well learned in the art of soliciting donations. They are drawing in money off of the memories of Caylee, and I hope kharma bites them in the *ss for it too.

Perhaps they are all living off the $$$ they received for selling the home videos to ABC News?

Right after my husband got the info for me I had him delete the friend request!!!! There is no way I want a constant reminder that Lee is sitting at home playing video games without a care in the world while Caylee is God knows where (everytime an xbox friend is on it always has a popup to show you who and what game they are playing)
Plus I might be too tempted to do the chat and yell all sorts of stuff!!

No Jennerbear, I don't have anything against him playing games. Lots of people do. I have. But playing a game like that while you claim your family is "looking for Caylee", playing while others search-- it just doesn't read right.

RIDICULOUS. You're going to use someone being a Starwars fan as being something sinister? Total rehash of "witch-burnings". So many people are starwars and Vader fans. I suppose you all should be hitting the next Comic-con convention for suspects.

Lol... I'm a star wars fan - uh oh! AND I play HALO!!!! I should be doing my laundry and scrapbooking. Don't tell anyone!

If this is even true... is he supposed to be waking people up at 2am looking for Caylee? that would be harrassment and illegal. so, if he can't sleep at night -what should he be doing to take his mind off things -or atleast distract himself?

My oldest son has an xbox...iirc, you can still see the info, even if you don't add him for a friend? It just wouldn't automatically tell you...you would have to search his gamer tag? Is this right?

I agree with you. But I tell you - my darling niece took her life last year I kind of immersed myself in video games temporarily. It was depression and gaming kind of took my mind off of my sadness. I should have been volunteering for MS fundraisers. I should be speaking out on suicide awareness. Something. People don't ALWAYS make the right choice when confronted with difficult times. I mean - I won't judge him for gaming if he is using it as an escape from the circus that has become his life. Also - his gaming friends probably don't know who he really is... xbox live may be the ONLY place he can go and just be Lee and not be the Psycho baby killer's brother. Just think for a moment that he's not just like, "Yeah, whatever...who cares... send me more money so I can game all day." Think that MAYBE it is a numbing solution to game... it was for me.

Not trying to disagree with you - just giving you my opinion :oD

Oh, so it is a fact he is not working then? Ok. Thanks.

really? because if it were past ten pm and you were knocking on doors, you would be arrested.

If I were in Lee's situation, I would not be searching houses but in the ground! The evidence is overwhelming that Caylee is not in someone's home.

And btw, where is your link that PROVES Lee is employed at the moment, huh?

you have to look up the name and send a friend request, and while it is pending it lets you view his gamer profile. You have to do the friend request first.

Brainiac... thanks. Presuming the idea that Vader means father (in Dutch,btw)- is grasping at straws. ludicrous. And where is he going to be, looking for Caylee, at all hours of the day and night?

Actually- I would be happy with just one hour-per week, because he has not done a stitch to look for this child.
He HAS, however, decided to educate himself in fiduciary matters, which is encouraging, with the exception that it is with other peoples cash from jobs that they ACTUALLY GO TO to earn. Unless of course you consider the very lucrative pastime of profiting on your dead baby-niece.

YES, it is a fact he is gaming online . . . not searching for his niece . . . and asking for $$$ to be sent to his PayPal account.
