Looooong Visits With JB

Does CA go to work? I thought she was staying home for now.

Not sure KC is 'seducing' but maybe playing the 'little girl' and flirting.

I haven't seen any evidence she's going to work. I think she is home.

If Casey were in an empty room with a bare light bulb, she'd probably have to chat and flirt with it.

I don't think Casey should be allowed on the computer or phone for leisure while at the attorney's.. her movements need to be documented in that area, by someone other than the lawyer. (we all know about lawyer - client confidentiality!) For all we know, JB gave her a corner office with unlimited calls and internet.. and who's to say, Casey isn't conspiring with another person to try and get their stories straight about what really happened with Caylee?

She was ordered to be on home confinement, not lawyers office confinement.. she does not need to be spending 25-30 hours a week with the lawyer, it's a joke!

Does KC have a personal cell phone now?
One of the A's could have bought or lent her one? It would be so easy for any one of them to go get a prepaid cell, wouldn't it? Or are they all being watched for that? Is she allowed to talk on the phone? I wonder, does she still talk to the boyfriends or have her friends walked away from her?
Does she have access to a computer? Are calls and internet being monitored?

And what the heck does she carry in that large white backpack when she goes to the atty's office? I would assume it must be a laptop but who knows--I sure wish I had x-ray vision! lol

I know, I'm full of questions this morning, lol. Sorry about that. Just things that have occured to me and I'm still kinda new and there's sooo much to research here. (I love this site!) Since she hasn't been charged with murder, I wouldn't think she'd be so confined that she couldn't have a phone or laptop, that's why I wonder about those, especially when she's at the atty office.

Dont attorneys charge by the hour? Who in the world gets/affords to spend this time with their attorney? Or does he just have her there so she can "hang out"?
It amazes me all the priveleges this girl gets:rolleyes:

So much for Home confinement, what a joke. She should be in jail IMO
Does anyone here believe her hokey Zanaida story? Dropping Caylee off at an apt where no one had lived? *if* she had done that, she sure was STUPID not to check up on things. Well, I dont believe the Z story anyways, maybe the attourney does.

There is no way that JB needs KC for 30 hours a week to work on the charges she is currently charged with or the ones down the road. I'm sure he is working on some sort of strategy but what can she add to it. She can't tell the truth to herself, let alone anyone else (even her attorney). She is a lie generator. Would he really be asking her for input on this case. I don't think so.

Too bad there isn't a secretary or janitor or someone who could 'leak' what she does at that office. (I know, shame on me!)

But what other defendant has so much time with their attorney? I think the atty has simply figured out a way to abuse the system.

The privileges, this pathetic excuse for home confinement, you and me and lots of folks are outraged:mad: by this kid glove treatment of a monster.

It's more like "Casey goes to day camp" as opposed to "Prisoner released under strictest conditions."

It has been said, in a kidding way, that only brand new lawyers believe their criminal clients. Although he has an absolute duty to represent Casey to the best of his ability, he may believe she is guilty as sin. We really don't know.

That aside, his behaviors are puzzling, offensive and treading a fine line on thin ice.

Discovery information? There has been no discovery yet.

He is taking a large risk with not only his reputation, but his future by taunting LE like this. There are consequences to this type of behavior.

Many attorneys feel this is unethical by taking advantage of the judicial system rules.
There is no statute of limitation on murder so LE ould wait 25 years before charging Caylee. Baez would lo0ok like an idiot preparing for charges that are not forthcoming. It is also a was6e of his time and energy at this point. He needs to cdoncentrate on the charges at hand. On the other hand, let him prepare for a murder trial and let her get the maximum for the currrent charges.

Alan Dershowitz has said that most defendents ARE guilty, but a defense attorney's job is to protect their rights. Casey's rights hafve been more than protected by gullible people who believe in her innocence on ANY charge. They even have her own MOTHER on tape accusing her of theft. So why is Baez spending an inordinate amount of time on this case. When does he see other clients? Does he HAVE any other clients? My attorney charged me $90 every time her secretary sent me an email. And she wasw a brand new attorney, not oen with 3 years experience like Baez. So she was TRYING to get clients. Baez obviously doesn't need any mroe clients. He thinks Casey will support him and his family alone. Based on her past behavior, I guess she will steal to pay him, too.

Dropping a 2 year old off in a stairwell to an empty apartment is more than enough to get her convicted on a neglect charge. She admitted to leaving Caylee there.

The fact that she later changed her story to the child being kidnapped in a park makes her first story even more heinous. Every ZFG in Florida should be suing Casey for defamation of character imo

I find it interesting that when she was in jail he met with her for short periods of time, but now that she is on house arrest (where she is NOT being kept in that hosue,k but spending the majority of every day with an attorney doing god knows what, is clearly an abuse of the system. jmo

***True, it is taunting the entire city of Orlando, likely more... not just LE.

(because home confinement is not spelled F-R-E-E-D-O-M).

***The actual code of ethics suggests the appearance of impropriety is not ethical i.e. very close to,unethical

***Not all parts of those are discoverable under the rules of criminal procedure (see FLCRP)

The amount of time she spends at her lawyers office means nothing. Because a group of people chose to believe there is an appearance of impropriety, does not mean there is one.

It's nitpicking and gossip and a search to find things to charge her and her attorney with that do not exist.

You don't have to like it, but you have to live with it. There is nothing up this tree.

I have observed the amount of time spent at the law office. I have juxtaposed that, along with other observed behaviors, against the ethical code of conduct and professional responsibility which is imposed upon attorneys.

I have formed my conclusions based upon my personal observations, my personal knowledge of proper and ethical conduct, and not by speaking to anyone else regarding this issue.

And that would be gossip because???

I think they need to fire that person (can't think of their title right now) that allows Casey all this time out of the house. She is there right now seeing that person. The amount of time they are allowing her out of the house is ridiculous. If she needs to see the attorney they should require him to go to her house and see him. Then there is no way her rights would be violated. I would be really ticked if I was his wife too. I wouldn't put up with that. Especially with a tramp like Casey that likes to snuggle in any man's neck.

Nice post. I've been writing this for weeks and all I elicit is resistance and more resistance. Then again, maybe it's Nancy Grace stirring up this meaningless pot by sneering like an ugly Elvis whenever NG asks about this.

i think he has her parked there because she runs her mouth too much & can't be trusted to NOT make up more new lies.

I also think her parents ( George) would like to choke the truth from her.

EEEEYEEEEEEEWWWWWW

That revolting scene when JB was escorting his client out of the jail and through the mob. That's just soooooo not normal for counsel...

But how is JB, by meeting with his client, taunting LE? Casey is using her approved visits. If there was something improper here, the visits would have presumably been denied in the first place.
