I suppose that we will all have the pleasure of LP's presence on the NG show tonight. I really can't go through this again with LP. I hope that his efforts to bail out Misty are unsuccessful and we won't have to look at him on a nighty basis.

I don't think with the new charges that LP can bond her out. Anyone know anything about holds?( I googled but....can't understand a lot)
She has warrants in other counties and is being held on the new charges right. Didn't the new charges come out after investigators listened in on the jail tapes and heard about LP getting involved with the bond out? Now she is on a hold?

IIRC, that means she needs to see a judge on the new charges, which should occur very quickly. But that doesn't make sense if we already have bail amounts on those new charges, does it? :waitasec:

You are so right, Donjeta. She is completely blind on the entire concept of bonds and bail or even what she might be facing in the way of sentencing. She needs her lawyer to clearly spell it out to her instead of trying to get information from her mom or dad. The jail house tapes have shown us how accurate and helpful they can be when it comes to legal advice. jmo

IMO, Padilla did learn a lot from the Anthony case.....he learned just how much media attention HE could get by pulling these shenanigans. To he77 with the damage he causes to poor Caylee and HaLeigh! It's all about him and getting his mug on TV.

The bail amount has not changed for Misty in PC because she has 2 outstanding warrants for the drug charges on 1/20 (purchasing) on the night of her arrest. TJ did report her bail amt. would increase $400,000 (same as Ron's did) once she is charged.
TJ reported she will not be charged until she comes back to PC (for a court appearance?).
Then she should have to go before a judge on the new charges, I'm not real sure on this-hence the word should.
Ron was already in PC so he was charged and his new bond amts. show on his PC booking.

I would love to be a fly on the wall! Ron called out on Dana to give his exclusive and TN gave hers and starting dumping all blame on Misty. I have not heard anyone wanting to bond Ronald out. I think this might get Ron's cage rattled. LP did say there are conditions and I hope what ever they are, he will get Haleigh home before she gets out.
Now, what I fear is another so called dream team wanting to pick up Misty as a client...she just needs to hurry up and give up the goods. Someone needs to give it to her straight! What she is facing and her bond amount, not a get out of jail free card.

Angel Who Cares just posted this link in the Media Thread - I think it explains what LP is up to - seems pretty simple - the conditions he wants are answers to Haleigh's whereabouts - from Misty. In other words, he wants to be the one to say he found Haleigh. His motives are rather clear:

Didnt Cobra bail nay nay out at one point? I seem to remember him chasing her around her drug binges until she wound up back in jail anyway. I can see a repeat of this with LP and MC.

I think the girl is clueless about spending alot of time in jail. To her telling LP will get her out right now. Telling LE will get her know where.

Out of jail now but he can't promise anything else. A better deal could be made with the SA. Choice - out now until trial and jail time, however long it may be or guaranteed sentence reduction by coming clean with the SA. JMO Misty doesn't see the big picture - she just wants out of jail right NOW. She has no consideration to the future, it is all about now.

OK now that LP has explained what he plans on doing I support it. If he can get it out her where Haleigh is or what happened to her then I am all for it. I think he could very well be on the right track with this.

Well it did work out for him the last time since he was a nightly fixture on the NG show. He got the publicity he wanted.
