LP said he wants a thorough search of the bottom of the Little Econlockhatchee River with divers using sifting screens. Those screens would allow water and sand to fall through, but not the kinds of things alligators won't eat, like toys, plastic bags and human teeth.

He says the $ was pledged to him....Wonder what thet really means?? Movie deal r what?

LP said the 50,000 was a pledge from his supporters. I think the other, the 200,000 or 250,000 was for the filming of a documentary/movie of him finding Caylee. (which I hope if he does this it is done with upmost respect for Caylee, a Geraldo type senario would be bad, IMO) There were two or three different reports online.

I personally don't care where the money comes from as long as someone finds this poor child! I wonder if the A's will continue to play their games and try to block this search and cause additional scenes like with KFN in J. Blanchard Park.

Do you know why LP is waiting until January, is there a specific reason like water current, Florida weather, or alligators?
That is too long, I wish he were starting now!!

I would just like to voice my opinion of LP and his collecting money to search. TM collected money to search and left, KF's and the A family collected money and NEVER searched, LP is collecting money AND searching. It takes money to seach.......so, more power to you LP! It appears to me that LP is the only hope for finding this poor baby.

My problem with this is, you can't believe ANYTHING KC says. She could have been dropping "false hints" or statements to get someone to search JBP. I don't think that is where she is, only because it was risky to go there and dump a body in a bag or what ever in an open public, State park. JMO. I wish LP would consider other locations.

LP is getting sponsors to pledge money to begin another search with more divers and better technology. The money is for expenses incurred with searching and hopefully finding Caylee. To date it has been LP's own money spent to search. The 200K, "Padilla told News 13 he has been contacted by a company that is willing to fund the search effort if Padilla is willing to give them exclusive rights to film the search effort".From News 13 Orlando.

I don't know if it is legal but is it legal for other groups to collect money, search for a small amount of time and leave the area with a promise to return at a later date? Is it legal for other groups to collect money in her and many other children's names and NOT SEARCH AT ALL? In my opinion, if LP can find Caylee and put her to rest, what should anyone care if he writes a book about it? I am sure part of the proceeds will be put towards other searches or training of search organizations in order for this to run much smoother in the future. I had not been a big LP fan until I read his website and also realized he is all Caylee has unless one of the many small groups that search on the weekends find her. Those people need money for materials to search with, who is footing that bill? We are relying on the small groups of volunteers because we don't have a large organized search going. Like NG said, at least he is doing something! Have you read LP's website? He funds an organization that pays college tuition for kids in the CA area who otherwise wouldn't be able to get a college degree.
To sum it up, if we want Caylee found, then we must pick our battles... Just my thoughts...

As sad as it is to type, IMO, it is because they are narcissistic people AND now that Caylee is gone, they will do all to keep the one they have left so they can still have her. Casey has lots of eggs left to create another possession for them.

When Padilla first came on the scene to bail Casey out, I must say, I was not impressed with the Man and his Crew. I felt like they were attention seekers, period...I was VERY anti-Padilla, and ended up getting a time-out, after only 2 days reg. here, for being rude to Tony P... :crazy: lol...BUT...after watching Lenny and his people for a couple of months, my tune has changed

I support anyone who looks for Caylee, and Padilla has become one of her heroes, imo.

I hope Lenny does come back...he may be our only chance to find her...

I honestly cannot believe ANYONE could ever be against him searching. That little baby is lying somewhere in pieces with no proper clothes, or a Christian burial. That is obscene to me.

I see him as a man who cares deeply that the child's little body is found. I don't see anyone but strangers to her even interested in a proper burial. Her mother doesn't want her found, it appears her grandparents don't want her found because it will show how she died, and no one but strangers are reaching out to that baby.

It makes me so sad.

I agree. I wonder if when she is found if we can put a memorial up? Say she is at J Blanchard P. could we put a memorial up at the playground where she used to play or maybe a bench by the water? Does anyone know if I would have to be a relative to donate a memorial? In Iowa anyone can as long as they have permission from the owner of the site where the memorial will be.
Or maybe something for the children in Caylee's name.

When does the trial start? I thought in January? I hope he comes back before the trial???? What if KC gets off and then he finds the body.

RE: the teeth, bags comment, I don't get it. I think alligators just death roll and then chomp down, I don't think they pick certain parts to eat or not. Is he saying that the teeth come through the digestive system? (ugh, that is horrible to even write about ). Why wouldn't bones do that as well?
