LP's Confidence #2

  • #561
I must admit, as much as an LP critic as I am, his suggestion on how to find out who Caylee's daddy is, is a good one. For those who missed NG last night, LP suggested that KC's phone records be pulled from the time around when Caylee would have been conceived, and see who she was calling/texting etc.

That would work if Casey had a relationship with the father. If he was a one-night stand, she may not have even known HOW to get in touch with him.

I've never heard of anyone getting pregnant by talking on a phone. :waitasec:

You're right, but if it was someone she knew (she says she knew this guy Josh, and obviously Mallory knew him), there would be some calls. Of course, I'm sure there would be several men that would have to be sorted through.

I haven't visited this thread for a while but I thought LP's latest statement on Nancy Grace deserved to be looked at.

Can anyone make sense of LP's latest theory?

Is he saying that Caylee was in the trunk for 2.6 days or is he saying that the decomposition "Stopped" once Casey placed Caylee in the bags?

If she was in the car until the 24th how can there only be 2.6 days of Decomp?

Also, does anyone else find his comments about ZFG in poor taste?

NANCY GRACE 4-16-09
==============================================

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (INAUDIBLE) I`d like to just state, why did she need a baby-sitter, a nanny, if she didn`t even have a job? And two, grandchildren mean everything. I have a granddaughter. And they`ve known her their daughter all her life and they know she`s a liar. Why are they standing behind her? I don`t understand that. Their granddaughter should have meant everything to them. Thank you, Nancy.

GRACE: Leonard Padilla -- thank you, Marie in California. Leonard Padilla, you know them better than we do. You`ve been in the home. Go ahead, hit me.

LEONARD PADILLA, BOUNTY HUNTER: Thank you. Let me explain something to you. In the system that the United States functions on, a lady like Zenaida that cleans houses, her next level of achievement is baby-sitting. How many people are going to hire her to be a baby-sitter, to get her out of the house cleaning thing that she`s in? When I went back there, she was living in a Motel 6, which I think she still is.

Now, getting back to the baby and the timeline from the phones -- the baby was killed about 1:15, 1:30 in the morning of Monday the 16th. And 2.6 days of decomposition puts her being double-bagged, triple-bagged, actually, with the laundry bag, at about 2:00 o`clock in the afternoon of the 18th. She was in the car until the 24th, when George almost got to the trunk, and that`s when she drove around the corner and dumped the body. And that`s how she got terpins (ph) in the trunk of that car.

GRACE: OK, the question was -- let me refresh your recollection, Padilla -- about the grandparents.

PADILLA: Grandparents? I mean, you`ve seen them every day of the week. They`re going to be on the Oprah show. What can I say? What can I say?

Perhaps he meant that Caylee was actually lying on the carpet in the trunk for 2.6 days, then bagged, which would stop the decomp from staining the trunk? IDK! It is LP! Lol! And, yes, I thought the remark about cleaning houses and baby-sitting was tacky, but I think he may have been trying to make a point in support of her lawsuit, ie., her other job option is now tainted by being named as a kidnapping baby killer. Who knows?

I don't think LP meant anything derogatory with his remarks about ZG. He is a man, and one who is a bit rough around the edges, so not so much politically correct. He has a big heart tho, and I feel he is on ZG's side in the civil suit.

I've gotten to the point that nothing surprises me, in regards of what comes out of his mouth. Though I do think he was trying to defend her: he made a major fail. It was an "open mouth, insert foot" moment.

Ol' Lenny reminds me of a favorite uncle. He may not always get it right, but he's got a big heart and this case grabbed him like it has the rest of us. I always perk up to hear what he has to say on NG. I have no doubt that if Uncle Lenny came to my family's next gathering, we'd all have more fun. I doubt he'll figure out exactly how KC did what she did, but I'm glad he keeps trying.

That statement of LP's means that George never saw Caylee at 12:50 PM on June 16th.

I never believed GA when he said it. He played it out strangely in a weird voice, with his eyebrows going up and down.

I think they never saw them after the fight on the 15th that I totally believed happened.

I do agree with LP on that.

I'm sure everyone remembers the interview George & Cindy did with Greta Van S.

During that Interview, in my opinion anyway, George seemed to be telling a rehearsed story to Greta when he told her how he saw Caylee & Casey on June 16th.

Also, There was a moment duuring the interview, just as George was describing seeing Caylee on the 16th, were Cindy placed her hand on George's leg in a sudden manner.

It may have been a gesture of support but I took it to mean...."Be careful what you say"

Anyway......I never believed a word of it

Perhaps you missed the "If" in my statement.

FWIW - I didn't miss the "if" in your statement, but I was making sure there wasn't more than mere speculation to back up the comments. I speculate all the time, too, so no problem there. Thanks for confirming same.

Here's a few more "Confident Comments" attributed to LP

"When the FBI releases it's next report it's going to tell us exactly when, where & how Caylee died"

"Casey has been offered 2.5 million dollars to take a lie detector test. I think she's waiting for that figure to get a little higher & then she's going to accept the offer."

These statements were made on September 28th on the DP Radio show & they are paraphrased

Personally, I think LP, like many of the people in this case, are hoping this exposure boosts their careers. However, that said, I think there are some truths that he found because of his desire for answers. I take everything being said with a grain of salt....and can't believe all of what anyone says.

I believe NG's heart is in the right place, and I enjoy her fervor for justice. I wish she were on the prosecution team lol!

LP has said a lot of things, and has claimed to have direct knowledge of some of what he says, e.g. in relation to what went on at the A's home when he was present in the house. IIRC he is due to be deposed in the ZG civil suit, so it'll be very interesting to see what he says under oath.

LOL, Boston...if you don't mind my asking, Why do you let LP get under your skin so much? I don't believe anyone takes what he says as gospel...heck, I think LP even cracks himself up!

I can't speak for Boston, but for myself, the problem with LP is that MANY people do believe him. People think he is privy to "inside information" because he says he is, and thus any word from his mouth must come straight from some inside source, right? He throws out some kind of carp, they run with it. Before you know it, rumor has become accepted fact.

LP muddies the waters in this case. He mixes fact, speculation and flat out fiction equally. That is why he gets under MY skin.

I would LOVE to hear what Leonard Padilla has to say when he is confined to telling facts only. I think we'd learn a great, great deal about this case and about LP.

I enjoy listening to his theories. I do take him with a grain of salt. I agree that some of the things he says are a tad outrageous, and perhaps he is a bit of a publicity hound - but for some reason I find him quite loveable!

I completely agree and I go back to what his nephew said about him on this board, about not paying too much attention to what LP SAYS but watch what he DOES. I don't think he gives hoot what people think about him personally (entertainment-wise might be another story :)) but, so far, I have not changed my opinion that he has a GOOD HEART and got involved in this case because of it. Has he slipped up some ? (as if anyone following this case has it all "right")........we'll see, won't we?

When watched, all I have ever seen him do is sign autographs and take pics with fans during vital searches, tout his own awesomeness to the media while trying to get a camera swung his way... and say something one night and then contradict himself the next night. For me, watching him and his actions is almost as bad as listening to him...

While trying to untangle his hotel claim, in the Parking Lot, I came across some things that could relate to the ZFG civil case: on NG, right after Caylee's body was found, LP is fervent about saying that the A's were going to blame Zenaida. The issue with that is, though: as far back as September, I think, he has convinced the Grunds that the Anthonys are going to try to pin it on them. I can't wait to hear his deposition for the Zenaida case... he's not going to be able to play both sides... his confidence will come into check on a legal level.

Am sure e-body knows how I feel bout me lil LP. He doesn't need me fighting his battles. LMAO LP is over 70yo and I don't think he has a "need" to be "in the spot light" nor "out to make a name for himself". He has done all that and over. So with that said------I guess I can say what I really feel about LP.

TO ME:
LP is a rebel after me own heart. I like it.
He can say what ever the He!! he wants. And get away with it. LMAO
He can cut a "dig" at CA. And it warms the Evil in my heart.
He may ever once in a while tell a "good" one. Well, He!! he is an old man---go for it.
Sometimes he is right on the money. I think he does have a connection to LE.
You don't have to like him He don't care and neither do I. LMAO
He lets people lean on him. NG does nearly e-night because of the lawsuit she was in, she can't rag on CA---but LP can.
He has done alot of good for alot of peeps. I have seen W/Sers testify to that.
LP is somewhat of a Cowboy And that intimidates some peeps--not me, I lub Cowboys.
About the depo coming up, hmmmm. Can't wait for that myself. I would bet my next 3 S.S. checks that Morgan and LP have had their heads together and made the list of questions----and LOL as they did so.

Why don't you take a read here to learn alittle more about LP. If you read only the bottom of it "MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE":

These sites have probably already been posted---here they are again---above and this one:
