"Luc Therrien was last seen on the evening of May 15 leaving an establishment on Mont-Gabriel Road in Ste-Adèle. He left in his grey 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, Quebec licence plate M85 WEP, towards his home in the St-Hyacinthe area.

His family has reason to fear for his health and safety.

Therrien is 1.80 m (5' 11") talls, weighs 80 kg (178 lbs), is white, with brown hair and green eyes. He uses an adapted wheelchair."

Oh I hope he is safe. I'm terribly concerned for this man.

2018 FB

Trying to translate different flyers from French it's mentioned that he uses the adapted wheelchair because he is paraplegic and includes this photo showing adaptive controls inside and his chair:

"Driving" on street view on google maps it looks like some areas are heavily wooded right up to the roadway. I don't see how LE could use any drones in those areas so they probably will have to be searched with other methods. I do so hope he didn't go into the woods - in even a minor accident - but he was then unable to leave his van. :(

Oh that's so sad. I was scared for him as soon as I read about this poor missing man, but still held hope. RIP Luc.

Apparently his vehicle was found in the river (translated):

LUC THERRIEN'S VEHICLE FOUND IN YAMASKA RIVER
A vehicle recently found in the Yamaska River in southwestern Quebec is believed to be Luc Therrien's. Originally from Rivière-Verte, the man has been missing since May last. He was seen, for the last time, not far from Saint-Adele in the Laurentides. The car found by citizens at the end of the week was mostly underwater. An investigation was initially launched into a possible roadtrip. Information allowed the S .reté du Quebec to quickly understand that it was a disappearance. The Saint-Hyacinthe Courier mentions that the police divers made the discovery of Mr Therrien's body.
