I won't be able to follow too closely tomorrow, but will try to check in. My nearly 3 year old somehow put an eraser from the end of a pencil in her ear while I was changing the laundry and we rushed her to a care now clinic where they proceeded to push it further in her ear canal before sending us home and telling us to follow up with an ENT, then her pediatrician looked at it as our ENT(who is one of best in world) was out of town, and told us she may have a hole in her ear drum, so tomorrow we finally get to see our ENT, and I'm hoping it goes well. Thankfully she isn't bothered by it! But my thoughts will definitely be heavy with the hope of justice for Bella.

Mother, boyfriend due in court in 'Baby Doe' killing

A mother and her boyfriend are due in court in the death of a 2-year-old girl who became known as Baby Doe after her remains washed up inside a trash bag on a Boston Harbor beach.

Rachelle Bond and her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, were charged last month in connection with the death of Bond's daughter, Bella. Both are due in Dorchester District Court Tuesday, although not much activity is expected because they haven't yet been indicted.

Attorney's all there

prosecutor wants continued til the 19th November - asks for adtl protective order - limiting what defense can do with certain discovery they have requested. Wanting them not to make it public.

prosecutors and defense have negotiated conditions regarding autopsy and the use of experts.

Want the autopsy done on or before the 19th (requested next hearing for probable cause)

As to Order re defense autopsy and the joint agreement re discovery - judge just entered the agreed orders all parties receiving copies.

For what it is worth, it looks like both RB and MM were wearing the same clothes. MOO

yes, both present. MM stood there somewhat slackjawed (that could be his normal countenance as that is how he always appears to me) in his same blue button down shirt as last appearance. Hair was combed and he was as presentable as I have seen him.

RB kept her head down, face turned from camera, hair long and down covering much of her face most of the time.

Both were in separate areas behind the glass cubicle as at their last appearances.

Yes, a shame he couldn't have been disgusted by RB 2 1/2 years ago to make sure Bella didn't have to live with the disgusting one. Wondering if word that he is disgusted with RB gets back to RB if she will change her mind about letting him handle Bella's funeral??

Shoot! I missed it. I wanted to see their demeanors.

Glad a second autopsy is being done by a different expert. That's good to hear

I think Rachelle was trying to act as if she was scared to be in the same room with McCarthy. She hid in the corner the entire few minutes with her hair covering her face so the camera couldn't get a shot of her from the side. McCarthy faced the judge. Again, as tlcya stated, he was slack-jawed, but at least he faced the judge.

ETA: I think RB is trying to play the role of beaten girlfriend scared of her boyfriend like her lawyer showed her. #EpicFail
