didnt LE say as soon as they walked in they pinpointed evidence? some say it was the throw carpet but maybe it was an odor?

I think someone else saw the garbage bag in the fridge besides MM. I'm thinking the lifelong friend whom RB confessed too could have seen something in the fridge at some point. Maybe he didn't necessarily open the refrigerator, but RB opened. HOWEVER, I have no doubt there would have been an odor emanating from the refrigerator. I guess she could have turned the refrigerator setting down as low as it would go and maybe partially froze the body, I still think there would have been an odor if they kept Bella's body in the fridge a month. I'm still thinking someone could have come into the apartment during those 3 to 4 weeks and say "I just went into Rachelle Bond's apartment today and it smells like a dead body has been in there."

It doesn't look good that MM was allowed to spank Bella. RB should have never allowed MM to lay one hand on the child. It does make it look like she was looking for a man to step to help her control and punish Bella.

I don't see how RB couldn't have known Bella had been found when she borrowed the wifi password from the neighbor. I think Bella's face was on everyone's home page at some point. I think she was following the story on the computer and television. Computer searches will be interesting for them as she was already calling herself an accessory after the fact. They probably went on another huge heroin binge after Baby Bella's body was discovered at Deer Island. It will all come out in the wash.

IF he was there in the apartment while the garbage bag with the dead baby was in the refrigerator, then he had to know she was not with CPS.

And it seems , according to his life long friend, that he was there and complicit in Bella being put in the closets as punishment. If so, I don't have a lot of sympathy for him. JMO

Think about it.. besides Bella...there isnt a sympathetic character in this entire saga. What a bunch! JMO

During THAT TIME, RB decided that Bella was the reason MM left.. he was tired of Bella etc etc. She made up the cps story and MM returned. He may have NOT killed her.. HE may be the one that helped dispose of the body.. or maybe not,.. who the hell KNOWS.. maybe one of her Johns ( clients) helped her and didnt even know what he was disposing of. JMO

It makes me feel strangely relieved that she was set free so young. I am afraid that her life would have been a nightmare if she had continued to live with her twisted mother and her array of weird boyfriends and Johns. It could have been full of a series horrible tragic incidences. It makes me feel a strange sense of relief that she is now free. :rose::star:

Burial Delayed For ‘Baby Doe’ Bella Bond

The burial plot has been picked, but Bella Bond won’t be laid to rest just yet.
New information in the murder investigation of the girl previously known only as “Baby Doe” has the medical examiner putting a hold on her body.

When Bella was identified September 18, District Attorney Dan Conley said her body would be turned over to her biological father.

“We have a next-of-kin here, so he’s going to make that decision,” Conley said at the time.

But almost two weeks later, her father has been told he’ll have to postpone burial plans for one to two weeks.

A spokesperson for the district attorney says it’s becausethe cause of death is still in question.

Hindsight is 20:20. I can't remember who posted it, but the poster said ...if someone would have came to my door and said can you take care of this BABY, she's going to be killed...all of us would have said yes.

Something needs to happen to change this.

I could have taken her and I'm positive she would have added as much to my life as I would have to her life. Peace. * Stepping away quietly *

I question whether RB and MM were boyfriend/girlfriend. I think they were just junkie friends who crashed together at the apartment and probably had sex when convenient. I don't think they were really a romantic item.

its worth a shot for LE to ask, IMO.

That's one of the first things LE grabs either laptop, PC or both. Computer technicians that work with LE can bring up everything someone tried to delete on the hard drive. So if you click on delete it never fully deletes same with camera SD cards, flash drives, SSD and other storage saving media etc. Remember when Jodi Arias thought she deleted all the Travis Alexander pics from camera time of his murder? Jodi Arias also put the camera in the washing machine too. Investigators were able to still pull-up the deleted photos. They can also look up history and all that was searched under their login info. Criminals think they are so smart (not) lol.

McCarthy and RB had most likely rehearsed and rehearsed what their story would be to LE if caught. By MM continuing to stick by his story is really smart because this kind of he said she said accusations can cause reasonable doubt in a jurors mind. All it takes is one.

You know darn well they had lots of time to google different past and present murder scenarios charges and outcomes. It doesn't matter the search history can be pulled up on the PC by investigators and used as evidence.

RB asked for neighbors WiFi password. Obviously her and her honey were going online.

Exactly. If CPS removed the child and terminated mother's parental rights, child could have been easily adopted out. Older two children were removed with no problems (and obviously they are alive today), why not Bella?

CPS could have removed her from her mother and adopted her out. Did CPS really think that leaving a baby with a drug addicted prostitute was in the best interest of the child?

That statement was made on September 18th and I just bet things have changed since then. I am just stunned that JA's word is being taken that he is Bella's biological father. He never met her and she didn't know him. There needs to be proof that JA is her biological father, IMO.

When we get to this stage in a case all we really can do is speculate what the COD is as well as who actually killed Baby Bella. We get restless because we want to know now. Sometimes we may think no progress is being made only to find out that LE has been extremely busy on the case all the while. LE is not stupid, IMO, and you can bet that everyone (and I mean everyone) is still being investigated. Who knew what and when did they know it? I believe there will be at least one more arrest.

Joypath, what would be the reason for LE continuing to hold Baby Bella's body? They have done the toxicology, they have tissue samples, and they have completed the autopsy. Even if they are awaiting the official toxicology reports, why withhold her body from burial? What other testing could they possibly do?

I think there must be another reason to delay. Maybe the powers that be feel as I do concerning proof that JA is the biological father. I would want proof before turning Bella's little body over to a virtual stranger. She should not be interred in a family plot if it is not known for a fact that it is indeed her family. A dignified and decent burial is the last thing we can do for a loved one. We want that loved one to rest in peace. If there is even the smallest doubt of paternity, then do not let her be placed in the wrong plot. Be certain. This worries me so very much.

We've no idea what LE knows or what they are doing now, IMO. All we can do is wait. Sometimes what really happened is very different than what we thought. I am waiting for the other shoe to fall.

I think anytime a parent has had a child taken away or proven abuse in the home by CPS it should be mandated that a social worker check up on children on a yearly casual visit basis for at risk children especially when so much time has passed with no further reports. It can either mean one of two things that is things are wonderful or something bad has happened.
