I agree...you know how you go to some homes and the pet odors are overwhelming, but the residents are nose-blind and don't notice? Could be the same thing.[/QUOTE
trust me.........,I'd take a thousand pet homes OVER the aroma of death........seeps into every pore, hangs onto hair & clothing too! & ps.skip the TV trick of Vicks under the nose unless you have a etoh swab under your nose IMMEDIATELY after leaving the scene!
You are so right...sad to say, but I know from personal experience that this is a smell you never forget. It never goes away.
Ok, so Bella was murdered and double bagged and placed in the water. she washed up on Deer island and the bag was seen the day before then seen again on June 25th when the ladies dog tried to explore it. Therefore, we know her body was baking in the sun, enclosed, for at least 24 hours. According to news reports the baby had on the polka dot bottoms, had 2 blankets ( at least that was said in court) and the bag had been weighted down. Or did they say there were weights in the bag? There is a difference. Weights as in those round things you put on a Dumbbell? Chunks of concrete? Kind of odd they were unable to either trace the weights or not reveal what the weights were. Would people who frequented the apartment recognize these "weights"?
Look around your home.. what would YOU use to weigh down a body in a bag??? Did they go out and buy weights?
Anything i write is just my opinion.

If indeed, Bella was also inside a weighted-down duffle bag, her escape and eventually ending up on Deer Island is truly a miracle.

New York forensic science expert Lawrence Kobilinsky says it’s highly unusual for law enforcement to hold onto a body for more than three months, even when new information comes to light.“
Even without a cause of death, a jury can convict,” he says. “It seems to me that so much time has elapsed. I don’t think there will be any further analysis that will be done that will tell us anything about cause of death. I think it’s time we lay this child to rest.”

I feel RB is the one involved in the death. Whether or not MM truly believed the CPS story, I dunno.
My only issue is.. If you charge someone with murder, do you have to have SOMETHING besides someone's word to back that up?? The police have to have SOMETHING to charge him with murder.. That's what I don't understand. Yeah we do not know all of the evidence.. But they've gotta be going on more than what RB has said. After all she is not an outstanding citizen.

Maybe the duffle bag, weights, and so forth came from RB telling LE. IDK, there so many questions and not enough facts given to us by LE. (and rightfully so)

Do we know any details regarding how the body was dropped into the ocean?
I am having a hard time picturing it (maybe it is obvious and I don't see it). I guess if there was a pier one could walk out on the edge and drop a bag but then fishermen or whomever could find it. From the shoreline how could someone do it? Toss it out into the surf? Wouldn't a boat be required?
Is it possible the body wasn't weight down at all? Just tossed from the shore and then found a couple of days later?
That's what I'm stuck on too. If a body is found in my neighborhood and my husband tells LE he saw me kill this person, I would be charged with murder on his word alone? It doesn't sit right with me.
Man! Who knows? I really don't believe a word out of RB's mouth or anyone other than LE.
I can't see RB and MM having access to a boat or them being straight enough to even operate one.
