I watched it and was really confused why they didn't talk about the fridge, thought I may have missed it. So is she saying he had her blacked out for a month and she thought it was within a day or two that they disposed of the body? That's what it sounds like to me where she is going with this!

I just re-watched this and agree with what you said. Seems her story has changed from the start. So, even though the mattress was on the floor, she said when he punched Bella her body bounced up, and she was grey and her face swollen immediately? Then the next day she said he had Bella's body in the duffle bag in the car and went to the wharf.

As a jury I would wonder why mom got so little punishment.
I'm so torn on this case. I as we all want justice for Bella but usually I'm all for the prosecution to "win" and get giddy with all the victories in court during a trial. Naturally I usually despise the defence. Here I'm interested in what the defence will do and want the truth out. I guess it's somewhere in the middle of Rachelle and MMs versions.
I wish they would just both be locked away and never heard from again. Jmo.

And can I just say how disgusted I am that she met MM at a pharmacy exchanged numbers and didn't talk for a year. Then he texts for drugs but she doesn't want to leave her house so he comes there? Ummm hello that is scary to me. Inviting any random person to my house like that? And then he just stayed? How does that happen? Poor Bella. So many men in and out of her short little life. Moo

i am so very disgusted with this case and especially the state of ma for giving this piece of rot a pass on death of her daughter...and no mistake...her deal is a free pass. Just a quick look at the history of RB indicates that on a daily basis she put Bella in danger...the scum she brought into the apt is beyond belief...this is Keith Chartrand who lived there..."FITCHBURG -- Police allege a St. Bernard's Cemetery gravedigger stole body parts from one of the cemetery's graves and brought them home to use as smoking accessories, according to Lt. Kevin O'Brien.

"While he was digging a grave, a casket was broken open, so (investigators) believe he took the body parts to make an ashtray and a pipe," O'Brien said Wednesday.

O'Brien said a police report didn't specify from which grave the man allegedly stole the body parts.

Police also allege Keith Chartrand, 30, of 993 Main St., Room 3, killed his wife's dog by hitting it with a rock and then called her to say he buried it in Coggshall Park, according to O'Brien.

Police charged Chartrand with removing a body from a grave and cruelty to animals.

And this guy has many more run ins with the law and I imagine all the rest are the same or worse.

No matter what the result of this case society and Bella are the losers.

this is so horrific that I think jury will convict him because someone has to be held accountable and the state of ma has decided it is mccarthy. i don't know who is making these immunity decisions in this state but they need some better guidelines...first Alexander Bradley and now RB. She is going to hurt more children and society in general.

I guess I could sort of understand in the AH case giving Bradley immunity to get the really big fish (which backfired) but in this one I feel it is so very obvious that they both are responsible with frankly RB being the primary cause because of what she exposed her daughter to and her lifestyle...I think the CW is now liable too as they are putting someone like this out on the streets to further endanger more of their citizens.

It's beyond bewildering and depressing that the State has offered Bond a plea deal and is putting forth the case that they are. I watched her testify yesterday and her testimony was so weak. It's hard to imagine what the jury will think after cross examination.

Bond has changed her story on the witness stand. Now she only saw one punch. I don't believe her. Unless new information is introduced during the trial, at this point it seems nobody other than Bond and/or McCarthy know when and how Bella died.

I would hate to be a juror on this case. Hopefully, evidence will be produced to give jurors some kind of peace of mind when it comes time to render a verdict. As it stands right now, there is a child who is dead at the hands of one or more adults, who are offering different versions of what happened.

I am with all of you .... MASS blew this. Totally. RB is a deplorable piece of crap.

She remembers meeting MM at a CVS and offering him drugs.

She remembers going to Easter dinner with HIS family.

But this piece of crap does not remember when her BABY died. "I am a single mother crap" is just that crap.

I cannot believe that Bella did not cry out when MM punched her. And I am going to guess this was NOT the first time MM put his hands on Bella.

Demons my ass. Bella did not want to go to bed/sleep that night (like every other child in the world at bedtime) so MM killed her and RB stood there and did NOTHING. NOTHING at all. CPR my ass.

No mention of the fridge in her testimony? RB's fake tears ... give me a break.

BUT as I stated at the beginning of my post ... shame on you, State of Mass not seeing what a HORRIFIC person RB is.

AND will she just walk the hell out of the court room after the trial is over???

Dear Lord, where is the JUSTICE for BELLA?
