Shapiro, who represents McCarthy, told Suffolk Superior Court Judge Janet L. Sanders that Bond has a lifelong history of making false and outlandish claims and that the claims are documented in a diary she kept as well as various statements made to doctors and other officials.
Among the allegations Bond has made, according to Shapiro, was that her mother murdered her brother, who the lawyer said does not exist.
Bond also has said her mother and father had sexually abused her and other children, and referred to her father as “Buffalo Bill” — a reference to the antagonist in “Silence of the Lambs,” Shapiro said. She also said she was kidnapped and raped repeatedly by a drug dealer named “Sweet Pea” and that she and two dozen other children at a daycare were locked in a boxes with satanic symbols scrawled on them, Shapiro said.
