Call me crazy but anytime
a. a child goes missing
or
b. a child is found, unidentified, and billboards are posted all over
and the mom does not report or does not identify----- she is GUILTY! I don't care who did what and put some hocus pocus over your dog's bowl, YOOOOOUUUUU are the person responsible for the life of your child. And if you were so dang scared of a man, then you should have let the child go live with another person, to get her out of harm's way. You can stay for that foolishness yourself. YOU were the one who needed the demon removed, woman.
Since when did it become a thing that women can hide their dead babies and then the law acts like it is no big deal. Oh, well, maybe it was the boyfriend that killed the baby. I DONT CARE! He needs to rot, too. And we will talk about him at another time. But, that does not and will not take away from the responsibility YOU hold as the caregiver to a child. It is time that the court starts focusing on these people individually. Stop allowing these "mothers" to point the finger somewhere else and then the courts turn their head that way. No. It is not one or the other. First, we deal with you and your responsibility as a parent. His part is a different story. This trash needs to be held fully accountable. There has been ZERO responsibility taken. All she can do is blame. And clearly, the courts allow it. I'm so over all of this injustice at the price of innocent people, especially babies. I have never met a young child who wants anything other than to please the adults around them. And somehow, these dumb adults choose to give harm, torture, abuse, death in return. I will never understand. For that, I am thankful.
Bella Bond died while those responsible for her were blinded by a drug-induced haze, and now a pool of potential jurors is being asked a critical question by prosecutors, defense attorneys and a judge.
Could you fairly consider the testimony of someone hooked on drugs?
......
Instead of the long-haired guy with a faraway stare seen during his arraignment more than 16 months ago, McCarthy now wears a suit and sports a job-interview-ready haircut.
......
"There will be a number of people testifying who have — or still have — substance abuse problems,” Judge Janet Sanders warned one juror. “Will that affect your ability to consider their testimony?”
"Would you tend to sympathize with the child’s mother?” asked Jonathan Shapiro, McCarthy’s lead defense attorney. “Would you be able to consider the possibility that the child’s mother was responsible?”

I would be off of that jury duty so fast if I got called! No sympathy from me for either one of them! Drugs or not!
I grew up in Boston. Boston is my heart. Several years ago we moved to SoCAL for work. My whole family lives back East and hubby and I fly back home often.
But one thing I will never forget was that Summer of 2015 flying in and out of Logan seeing those Billboards all over the City.
As I recall I think the billboards said "Do you know me" with precious little Bella's (reconstructed picture) on them.![]()

RB should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law ALONG with MM.
I think if I remember correctly, she was charged for cashing the checks. I agree with you, she was alot more involved with the murder. I don't know why but I get the same feeling you do....she was in charge!Yeah - I would love to serve on it but I would have to be honest because I believe in our system and have served with jurors who were biased. Not only in her drug fueled haze but she kept cashing the checks for a dead child! I have lost track and am unsure if that charge is still pending or if it was part of the plea deal.
Besides I think she was the killer and he is just stupid. Look at her mean face and tell me who's in charge.
SMH

She has manipulated all the men she was ever involved with. How did she get (the father) to sit by the water with her where she had dumped the body without him freaking out or calling LE with all those billboards around?
She was receiving the checks, she held the purse strings. He was keeping his mouth shut at her direction IMO.
I stopped feeling bad after he was arrested for shop lifting. I don't use his name because his 15 minutes has rolled over into overtime. I don't want him to google his name to see what the reaction is and come onto Websleuths to see what we are saying, though it may be too late, LOL.Exactly! The so called father who plans on spending every day at the trial....obviously he still hasn't gotten a job! I felt bad for him in the beginning...don't know why, not now! He just wants his fame obviously....but he doesn't realize it's not good fame he's getting!
OMG, Steleheart, there it is.![]()
